Chapter 11
The next two meetings with Abby on Friday went much smoother. There was no sobbing and saturating Abby’s blouse with my tears.
I did notice that she seemed to be wearing shorter skirts and her blouse was open enough that I could see the tops of her bra. I wondered if she was dressed like that all day for all her clients.
The second week with her had been easier. I felt comfortable talking with Abby. I told her all about my relationship with Megan. I told her about my success in becoming a federal agent.
“I am so proud of the man you have made yourself into,” Abby told me at the end of our second visit. “I am comfortable with who I am,” I answered. “But I doubt your father would approve,” I added.
I saw a deep concern on her face as I turned to walk away. “I’ll see you next Friday Abs, I hope you have a great weekend,” I called back to her.
My third visit to see Abby seemed easy. The fact that she and I had been best friends for so many years and told each other everything in the past, made it effortless for me to open up my feelings to her.
The difference was that she was not reciprocating any of her feelings or emotions. She was not divulging the things she had gone through of the last four and a half years. She was more of a mystery than ever.
I share with her that day about going to a group grief counselling group every Tuesday for three months. I share with her something a man had said in the group that had given me a measure of solace and relief from some of the grief.
The man had suggested that we should rejoice in our pain because that pain was a testament to how deeply we had loved our lost relation. He said our grief was like a rose bush buried by the winter’s snow. But eventually, our love will again flower after enough sunshine.
“I guess you could say that the last six months has been a journey back to the sunshine,” I told Abby. She was quiet for several moments after that. “That was an amazingly remarkable perspective, Jack! I feel like you have made some monumental growth in your life,” she told me.
I felt like I had made more progress after sharing those things on the third visit.
I also had had a difficult time keeping my eyes off of Abby’s gorgeous body.
The once slightly chunky girl I’d known growing up is now a stunning beauty with a 36D-24-36 body that could easily grace the cover of any skin magazine.
By the time I ate dinner that Friday, my dick was solid as a rock as I remembered how parts of Abby’s body had been exposed to me. As I cleaned my dishes and placed them in the dishwasher, I thought to myself that it was been way too long since I got laid.
One of my buddies at the agency and recently given me a card for a local escort agency. “You need to start riding that bike again,” he had suggested. I know that most of my co-workers have kept tabs on me since the incident. I know that they are all wishing me the best.
“Hello, Lovely Angels?” I asked when the phone was answered. “Yes, this is the place,” a husky woman’s voice announced.
“I’d like to schedule a visit for two hours tonight if that could be possible,” I told the woman hoping this is not a police set up.
“And what type of girl do you have in mind?” the woman asked.
“I would like a voluptuous woman with jet black hair,” I told her.
“If she has emerald, green eyes, that would be a real bonus,” I added.
After the woman told me that she had just the right woman for me,” I gave the woman my credit card info and paid for two hours of the escort’s time. “She will be at your house around 8pm,” I was informed.
I took a shower and shaved for the second time today since I get a very healthy 5 o’clock shadow by this time in the evening. I dressed in a loose pair of slacks without any underwear on underneath and a polo shirt I can easily pull off over my head.
I was surprised by how giddy I felt while I sat on my couch waiting for the escort to show up. I felt even more nervous than the first time that Megan and I hooked up. After all, it has been more than six and a half months since I last had sex with a woman.
