Chapter Max When Sparks Fly

Max

When Sparks Fly

"Are you okay?" I ask, watching her face twist in discomfort.

"Yeah," she says breathlessly. "I just… it’s huge, Max."

"Don’t hold back, Sade." I smirk down at her. "Tell me more about how big my cock is, how it feels buried deep in this pussy."

"Move, Max." She glares at me, but there’s a hint of amusement dancing at the corners of her lips. "Stop gloating and fuck me."

Pulling out slowly, I ease back until just the tip sits inside her.

When she nods, I slide back in with a bit more force than the first time, just as she requested.

And it takes everything in me not to immediately blow my load.

She’s not only the woman I love, but her pussy is drenched, gripping me like a greedy fist.

"More, Max." She bites her bottom lip, sucking it between her teeth. "For the love of God."

Thrusting faster, I pound into her as we find our rhythm. Her hips lift each time mine move forward, as if she’s meeting me halfway. She feels like heaven, like she was designed just for me—my twin flame, a perfect match.

"Fuck, baby. You feel so good."

Dipping forward, I suck one of her tight pink buds into my mouth as I work her other breast with my hand. A soft, breathy sound escapes her—a sound I could listen to forever.

Each stroke inside her is better than the one before it, and when my balls tighten, I pull out quickly, willing myself to make it last longer with a hard squeeze from my hand at the base of my shaft. Sadie whines from her spot on the bed as she reaches to pull me back to her.

"I just need a second…"

"Okay, Casanova." Her face lights up, and she wraps her hand around my cock. "I guess I can give you a second… or two."

I almost think she’s going to slip me back inside her, but she rubs my head over her clit like it's her own personal vibrator. Her legs shake each time it passes over her most sensitive spot, and I inch forward, applying more pressure.

"Max, God… your dick feels so good." She continues sliding it back and forth across her clit. "Please fuck me again, I’m so close."

Leaning in, I capture her mouth. Our tongues tangle, with the taste of her still present on my lips. We’re drowning in each other, plunging off the deep end so quickly it can’t be stopped.

Pulling back, I roll onto the bed beside her and grip the headboard with my arms stretched above me.

"What are you—"

"Ride me." I smirk. "You loved using my dick as your wand just a second ago. Let’s see you do it again."

Sadie rolls her eyes and laughs, but climbs on top of me, one leg on each side of my hips. She leans forward, pressing a soft kiss on my cheek, then slowly runs her tongue down my neck and across my chest. Her descent continues until it’s not her pussy closing around my cock—it’s her mouth.

She swallows me in one fluid motion, tears pricking her eyes as I hit the back of her throat.

But she doesn’t stop, instead, she bobs up and down on a mission to drive me mad.

Each flick of her tongue along the rim, each time she takes me so deep I have to will myself not to lose it—she’s playing with me—and it’s a game I don’t intend to lose.

Releasing my grip on the wood above my head, I reach out and wrap her long chocolate hair around my fist. "Do you want me to take control?" I pull just hard enough to lift her eyes to mine. "Are you trying to make me lose my mind?"

She nods slowly, still sucking on the head of my cock like it’s the best thing she’s ever tasted.

Moving swiftly, I lift her off of me, repositioning her so her face is resting on the pillows and her ass is in the air. Without giving her notice, I bring my hand down on her ass with a loud crack. She yelps, but doesn’t pull away. In fact, she pushes her perfectly round globes toward me.

Taking the hint, I do the same to the other cheek. Bending this time to lick the spot that’s quickly turning a bright shade of red.

"Touch yourself, Sade." Positioning my tip at her entrance, I push in slightly. "This isn’t going to last long for me, and I refuse to come first. Get there, baby."

Sadie runs her hand down her torso, beginning to make small circles over her center. And I thrust deep inside her, pounding in and out as fast as I can. Her thighs shake, and her pussy clenches around me as she screams.

"Max! Shit, Max! Holy…"

I pump in and out a few more times while she rides the wave of her orgasm, and when I can’t take it any longer… I explode inside her like a bomb detonating, blowing every previous experience so far out of my mind it’s like no one else has ever existed.

Sadie slumps onto the bed as I ease out of her, yawning, and I fold myself around her.

She snuggles against me, turning in my arms so we’re staring directly at each other.

I run the backs of my fingers down her cheek, captivated by the woman in front of me, not just by her beauty, but by her as a whole.

"You’re everything, you know that?" Pressing tiny kisses to her cheeks and forehead, I whisper.

Sadie wraps her leg over mine, inching ever closer. "I’m mad," she mumbles.

"Why?"

"Because we wasted so much time." She flops onto her back and runs a hand down her face. "What if it was supposed to be us all along? What if we wasted all these years when we could have been together?"

Scooping my arm beneath her, I roll her toward me—my chest pressed against the milky skin on her back. "You mean in high school?"

"Yeah…"

A low laugh bubbles in my chest. "Nah. Sade, I wouldn’t have known what to do with you back then. I would’ve messed it up."

She releases a slow breath that I can feel ghosting over the hand I have pressed to her chest. "Timing," she says faintly, as if she’s exasperated by the word. "It’s never right when I want it to be."

I kiss her neck. "My dad told me once that it’s not the number of days we get with someone, but the quality of them that counts.

" Biting my cheek, I stuff down the emotion that wants to burst out of me.

"I think… we've had some really spectacular days. And we aren’t out of them yet.

Maybe we just look at this time with gratitude instead of sadness. "

She twists her neck, and I meet her halfway to kiss her. It’s filled with emotion, like a silent acceptance that even though we only have at most a little over a week—we are going to make every second count.

A loud boom sounds above us, followed by the faint sizzle of a firework floating down from the sky. Sadie shoots up straight, grabbing the blanket and leaving me uncovered.

"Come on, Max." She slides off the bed, wrapping the comforter around her. "We’re missing the show."

Following her lead, I snag the red blanket that she used earlier and wrap it around my waist, then I grab the pillows.

Sadie steps onto the deck, carefully walking to the front of the boat.

When I’m sure she’s steady and in a place where she won’t repeat her earlier reenactment of Overboard, I toss the pillows toward her.

She lays them out on the bow, motioning for my blanket. "Throw me that so I can spread it out."

I’m glad there isn’t another boat even remotely close to us—I'd be giving them quite the show.

Handing her the blanket, she lays it down, then folds herself onto it, waving her arm for me to do the same.

Sadie drapes the comforter over top of us, and we snuggle into the pillows, one of my arms wrapped under her neck and my other hand sprawled across her stomach.

Brilliant shades of gold, blue, green, and red erupt in the sky—some that look like starbursts, others that fall like the vines of a willow tree floating in the breeze.

Each time another one ignites, I’m captivated, not by the light show in the sky, but by the way it illuminates the girl beside me.

Her eyes twinkle with delight, her smile is so breathtaking it hurts, and the way she seems so relaxed…

my heart tumbles for her all over again.

"Water Patrol. Permission to come aboard."

I scrub my eyes, my back aching and my skin dewy as I startle awake.

"Water Patrol. We’re coming aboard." A loud voice booms again, followed by the sound of heavy boots thudding against the deck.

"That’s not funny, Max." Sadie stirs beside me, rolling over as my brain finally registers what the hell is happening.

I sit up hastily, glancing at the woman beside me—now fully exposed from the waist up.

Grabbing the comforter, I pull it up as quickly as I can and shout toward the stern of my boat.

"Stop!" I stretch upward, spotting the boat tethered to mine with a big orange light at the top. "I’m not dressed, but everything is fine."

A deep voice beckons back to me. "Son, I’m going to need to speak with you. I need to see your boating license."

The man sounds pissed off—at the very least annoyed—about this situation.

Try the one being naked in broad daylight.

"I’ll be right there, but I need to get some clothes on.

Any chance you’d mind turning around?" The cockpit is blocking the view, but if he comes any further than two-feet onto the boat, he’s going to see everything.

"Max?" he questions.

"Yeah?"

"Jesus Christ. Okay, I’m turning around." Apparently he recognizes my voice, but I still have no idea who he is.

I stand up, making my way around the edge of the boat and into the cabin quickly. Tugging a spare pair of sweats from a small drawer inside, I pull them on, grab my wallet, and climb back out to greet my wake-up call.

The man spins and… you’ve got to be fucking kidding me. It’s Thomas, Brady’s dad. The one I practically got into an argument with a few weeks ago over the fate of his child’s hockey career. He’s dressed in black pants, a green t-shirt with the water patrol logo, and boots.

"What a strange turn of events finding you here," he drawls with a smirk on his face.

"Not really." I widen my stance, reminding him that even though this is his turf, I’m not the guy that backs down from a fight. "I’ve been coming out to this dock for years."

"That so?"

Nodding, I cross my arms and grind my teeth together.

"Max, is everything oh…" Sadie’s honeyed voice rings out, and when I glance over my shoulder, I see her standing near the edge of the cockpit where the white rises to make room for the cabin door. Thankfully, she has the comforter wrapped around her.

"We’re good, Sade. Why don’t you just sit down up there while I take care of this?"

She nods, returning to her spot, but when I turn my stare back on Thomas, he has a stupid-ass smirk on his face.

"Honestly, this just keeps getting better and better." He chuckles, running a hand along his jaw. "I shouldn’t have to tell you this, but you can’t sleep out here overnight. It's private property."

My shoulders dip. I’ve never slept out here before, and I honestly didn’t intend to last night, but it just sort of happened.

"Thomas, look, man, I apologize. I didn’t realize anyone owned it. My Pap used to bring me here all the time." I step toward him. "Won’t happen again."

He stares at me like he’s contemplating what to do, but then his partner calls out to him. "We’ve got a reported BUI. We need to go, Tommy."

He nods his head and turns to leave, but stops.

"Max, this is a warning. Don’t let it happen again.

" He moves to step from my boat back onto his and unties the ropes connecting us. "I bet Brady will play a lot in today’s scrimmage. Wouldn’t want anyone to find out about your sleepover.

" With that, the asshole steers away, taking his smug expression with him.

"Sade… you can come over here now," I holler. "They’re gone."

She shimmies around the edge of the boat, carefully watching each step as she makes her way directly into my arms. Sadie pushes up onto her tiptoes and gives me a kiss.

"Morning," she whispers, smiling up at me.

"It is… How did we fall asleep?"

She laughs quietly. "Between the slow lulling waves lapping at the side of the boat, the warm body next to me, and the mind-blowing sex… I honestly don’t know."

"Okay, smart-ass. Mind-blowing? Let’s talk about that some more."

Sadie smacks my chest playfully. "I’d rather hear about that guy… is his son on your team or something?"

Rolling my eyes, I huff while grabbing my phone.

Glancing at the time, I realize I’m due at the rink in a little less than two hours, and I still need to get us back to land.

Thankfully, I left Benny with my parents, so if I can make it to the marina in forty-five minutes, I can swing by Sadie’s for her to change and still have time to grab my gear.

"He is, and let’s just say we don’t have the best history. I love his kid, but the dad’s an asshole." Sadie nods in understanding. "Will you come to my game? To see me in action?"

"Of course, Max. I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"We both might miss it if we don’t get a move on. Then Thomas will tell everyone I’m a man-whore out here on my boat with a naked mystery woman." I swat her ass lightly. "There’s a change of clothes in the small drawer to the left. Get dressed, and I’ll get everything ready out here."

Sadie smirks, tucking her hair behind her ears before she ducks inside the cabin. Moving to prep the sails, I only turn back when she calls my name.

"Max…" She pops her head out of the cabin, tossing me a wink. "If he calls you a man-whore, I’ll just tell all the rink moms how mind-blowing you are."
