Epilogue

Lemon

I’m getting married.

Today is my wedding day.

I’m marrying a man I’ve known for six weeks, and I’m pregnant with his baby.

So much has happened since the day I crashed into his shopping cart, and he crashed into my world. I have a job I love, a new home, more family than I know what to do with and…Atticus. He’s everything I dreamed of finding but never believed I would.

He loves me wholeheartedly and unashamedly. He’s bossy and possessive and obsessive and…perfect. I hadn’t realized how alone I was until he told me I was his. I hadn’t realized how starved of love and affection I was until he showered me with it.

Now my life is unrecognizable, and I’ve never been this happy before.

I belong to Atticus Hoffman. I have a collar around my throat, a ring on my finger, and our baby growing inside of me. If anyone had told me that in the future I’d be owned by a man, I’d have laughed. But he doesn’t own me like I’m property. He worships me like I’m treasure.

Maybe that’s why fate, or a family legacy, brought us together. But it doesn’t matter how we found each other. The important thing is that we did. Because I found my happy ever after, and I might be his princess, but he’s my everything.
