Chapter 45 Makari “Havoc” Sanchez

CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE

MAKARI “HAVOC” SANCHEZ

TWO DAYS LATER

There was still no sight or word on Viper and his ugly ass son, Sony.

Most of their crew had been found and dealt with. There were only a few outstanding who I suspected were wherever these niggas were hiding. I did feel bad for having to take out Hell’s friends, but if they were truly his friends, they wouldn’t have joined Sony.

They wanted to say it was for my brother; however, I finally saw that it was jealousy. They were the same friends who used to talk shit about me to my brother, wanting him to treat me badly or for me to betray him. This was an excuse to kill me and take what they thought belonged to them.

It was comical, though, because if they had succeeded, were they really expecting Sony and Viper to run shit?

They were too weak for the streets, and if left to themselves, this Society wouldn’t have lasted long. It was a joke that they put a fight up for something they didn’t even have the balls to carry.

Sincere had always told me that this wasn’t an easy thing to hold, and he damn sure wasn’t lying.

I’d never had to fight so hard before in my life. It just helped that I had the right people in my corner, and a crazy old man decided to take a chance on me.

I looked over at Sincere’s portrait in my office. It was taken of him at my wedding, looking so happy and free. Despite the pain and the illness, he wouldn’t allow anything to put him down. That man smiled until his last breath.

As I sat there looking at his portrait, I simpered to myself, knowing that if he were still alive, he would have cussed me out for having those two niggas stress me out.

I suddenly received a notification on my phone that someone was at my gate. I pulled up the security camera and received the shock of my life!

Well, I be damned.

I hurriedly left the house and made my way to the gate.

“Open it!” I yelled at my guards and waited for them to do so. As it pried open, River turned to look at me.

She and I had only crossed paths in passing because usually we were in the streets, so Sony didn’t bring her around as much. Since I wasn’t really interested in Ocean like that, I didn’t make it my business to know her peoples personally.

She turned to look at me and sighed.

“How did you know where I lived?” I questioned.

River simpered.

“I have my way of finding things out, Havoc.”

Her father.

My eyes narrowed at her words. She threw her hands up.

“I didn’t come here on no bullshit,” River said. I dropped my guard a little just to hear her out.

River stared at my face for a few seconds before she handed me a cellphone.

“That’s my sister’s location,” she said. I looked from the phone to her, wondering why she was giving me Ocean’s location when I couldn’t care less about that nasty bitch.

River picked up my annoyance.

“I know you don’t care for her, but I bet you’ll find Sony and his father there too.”

A look of pain flashed in her eyes, and she took a deep breath. Probably to hold the tears back.

“You are free to do what you want with them. I won’t be around anymore anyway,” she said, then smiled at me. “I think it’s time for a new start somewhere else with my parents.”

Her statement let me know that she was about to leave town with Leo. He wanted no parts of it. They were leaving Ocean to me.

“No repercussions?” I asked to be sure.

Again, her hands went up in surrender.

“None. My dad just said make sure you don’t miss,” she smirked.

River turned to walk away, but then stopped to say something else.

“Kairi is a real one, Havoc, and I’m glad you picked her and not Ocean. Look after yourself,” she saluted me and then walked away.

After I watched her leave, I rushed back to the house and called Shakur to come.

He came quickly, since his new house wasn’t too far from our house. As soon as he came into my office, I threw him River’s phone for him to see.

“What’s this?”

“Ocean’s location that River gave to me.”

His head popped up, and he looked at me with wide eyes.

“You sure it ain’t a trap?” he asked.

It was probably a trap, but it was the only thing we had right now, and I wanted to take a chance.

“Kairi was right!” Shakur exclaimed.

My head bounced to agree. She seemingly played the sisters against each other!

Shakur pulled out his phone and called Oblique to get the crew at that location ASAP. While he did that, I went down to my den to change my clothes. By the time I was strapped up and ready to go, Shakur let me know that the crew was in route.

“Keep an eye on my wife,” I instructed Lennox on our way to the garage.

After Sincere died, I told Lennox to go and retire, which he deserved, but he chose to join us instead as our housekeeper.

He said working kept him young. I didn’t give him too much to do other than watch the house and Kairi, and he was okay with that.

Shakur and I hopped in my burner car, and I sped out of there. The adrenaline was pumping as I sped through the night. Shakur sat beside me, checking his guns.

“I know you want Sony, but I gotta lay hands on that nigga,” Shakur said. I looked over at him.

“Say less, brother.”

It was a given. I knew last time he allowed me to get my licks in to prove myself for Kairi, but today was about finally putting him where he belonged—in the fucking dirt.

The rest of the ride there was in a comfortable silence. When we arrived, Oblique waved us down around the corner, and we pulled up.

I climbed out of my car, happy to see the whole crew out in force.

Everyone turned to look at me.

“Have you checked it out?” I asked Oblique. He nodded.

I appreciated River helping, but that didn’t mean I completely trusted her. There was no telling if this was a trap or not.

“Yeah, Sony and his pops is definitely there with the last of their crew. Nobody else and no signs of Leo either,” Oblique explained.

I nodded, pleased to know that River wasn’t trying to set me up.

“Still, everyone, watch your back,” I instructed. You could never be too careful.

I lifted my gun and said, “Let’s go, but Sony is ours,” I let them know. Sony was for me and Shakur.

We headed for the location, all geared up. After some walking through some muddy grass, we arrived at the house. We were all the way in Rochester, so there was no way we would have found them without River’s help.

A dog barked in the distance, a faulty streetlight flickered in the distance. I listened and looked for movement before I looked at Oblique and nodded.

He took half the crew with him to the back of the house, while the rest followed me to the front.

There were two niggas sitting out front smoking a blunt and playing cards. They didn’t even get the chance to react before Shakur hit them with headshots. Their bodies crumbled to the ground. I crept up to the door and turned the handle, and it opened up.

I stepped into the foyer and looked around. There was noise coming from the den with about five niggas inside playing PlayStation. The roars of laughter bounced around the house.

Lennox’s son, Aaron, approached me.

“We got this. Find Sony and Viper.”

We split up with Shakur and I heading up the stairs. The hallway was dark, and nobody else was around.

There was a light coming from under a door at the end of the hallway. As we passed, we checked the other rooms just to make sure nobody else was around.

“Mmmmm, mmmmmm, shiiiiitt,” I froze when I suddenly heard someone moaning in pleasure. Shakur and I looked at each other and almost laughed out loud because there was no denying whose voice that was.

I opened the door and pushed it open slowly.

“Thank God, I never even let you sniff my dick before,” I said, exposing my presence.

Sony, Viper, and Ocean all turned to look at me. Sony had his dick in Ocean’s mouth while Viper was hitting her from the back.

“I guess no nigga is off limits for you, huh?” I questioned her and laughed. Ocean pulled away from them and covered up her body.

“River says hi,” I winked at them, letting them know how I found them. Ocean’s face fell at the realization, hitting her suddenly.

She lay there trying to cover her body, staring at my face, and then she scowled.

“Nigga, you can’t kill me! Don’t you know who my daddy is?” she laughed. I simpered and shook my head. She had no idea that her pops and mama left her ass too. I wasn’t surprised, her dick hopping had cost them a lot of drama over the years.

“Besides, you can’t do better than me. Your own bitch killed your brother,” she laughed as if that would hurt me, but it didn’t.

“Thank God I wasn’t stupid enough to touch you,” I told her before I shot her between the eyes. Ocean was too sneaky to keep alive.

Viper tried to run, but I shot him in the back, sending him flying into the bedroom door.

“Dad!” Sony screamed.

Shakur was on his ass while I went over to finish Viper off with a bullet to the head. When I turned around, Shakur was beating the shit out of Sony.

I stood back and watched, letting him vent his anger. This nigga had been terrorizing his family for years, so I let him get that.

Aaron appeared in the doorway.

“Boss, we got another location on the rest,” he said. I nodded.

“Take everyone and check it out. Hit me up when it’s done,” I instructed. He nodded and disappeared back downstairs.

“We need to go,” I told Shakur. He hit Sony one more time in the face and slowly stood to his feet as I walked over.

Sony rolled on his back to look at me.

“I tried to give you a chance, and you came for my wife again,” I spoke lowly. His swelling eyes widened at my words.

The fact that those niggas were trying to get Kairi, I knew it was for Sony. He had plans for her, and he tried to use my brother’s untimely death as a cover.

“That was the last mistake you will ever make,” I said before both me and Shakur emptied our guns into his body.

Finally, it was over, and I felt like I could breathe!

The clean-up crew were already inside by the time we made it back downstairs. As I headed for my car, Aaron sent me a message letting me know the trash had been taken out.

By the time I got home, I was exhausted but grateful that shit was finally back to normal. Viper and his bitch ass son had been fucking with me and Shakur’s family for long enough. They got what they deserved.

I stepped into the shower and closed my eyes as the water sprayed over my head. The exhaustion hitting me in my core. I shed some tears, thanking my brother for watching out for me.

After a few seconds, I turned when I heard the shower door open, and Kairi stepped in.

She walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. I hugged her back. Both of us beyond tired at this point but also relieved.

Kairi lifted her head to look at me. The water spilling over us as she tiptoed to kiss my lips. Her hand reached down and circled my dick, instantly waking it up.

I instinctively lifted her up, pressed her against the shower wall, and pushed inside of her.

Feeling that calm once again.

“This why your ass pregnant now,” I kidded, watching the ecstasy display on her face. I looked at my wife and smiled.
