SIXTEEN
"Wait! Before you start the movie, I am gonna get some snacks!" I yelled at Ari as I walked to towards the kitchen.
"Okay!" She yelled back, a small laugh escapes my lips.
I dug through the cabinets grabbing few sweet and salty snacks before we start our movie. I opened the fridge and grabbed a couple of waters. I made my way towards the pack house living room, quickly sitting dow, laying the snacks in between us.
"Thank you for agreeing to a movie night!" She beamed looking over to me with a smile.
"I needed it and besides this will be fun since you haven't been here for the past two days" I told her truthfully smiling back.
"Hey, I have been meaning to ask you something" her smile leaving her face, "what happened at the bar the other night?" She asked.
I bite lip and looked away, I wasn't sure if I could honestly tell her.
"Noth-" I got cut off not getting to finish when we noticed Jeremy and Austin walking in. Relief washed over me, not having to finish that conversations. I was still angry at Alpha Tyson especially after our conversation at 4:00am this morning.
"What are watching?" Jeremy asked as a smirk made.
"Breakfast club!" Ari and I said unison.
"Ah hell no," Austin playfully poured, crossing his arms.
I rolled my eyes, "come sit down, it's a good movie. You are over dramatic" I laughed.
Austin sat down beside me and Jeremy on the other side of Ari. Ari pressed play on the screen, all of our eyes glued to the screen.
We watched movie after movie, for hours we have been on the couch, all four of us watching movies, till I was pitch black outside. We were now watching some movie the boys picked out.
I looked over at Ari she was still awake, noticing Jeremy who is beside her was asleep, his head back and mouth slightly open. I looked beside me and saw Austin asleep the same way Jeremy was. I smile spread across my face.
I picked up my phone and tapping the screen lightly wanting to know what time it was now.
"What time is it?" Aris asked me whispering.
I looked over to her, "it's 1:02 in the morning," I whispered back.
She nodded and I could see she was getting tired, my eyes getting heavy too.
I adjusted myself and moved a little to lay my head down on Ari's lap, she let out a soft tired chuckle causing my lips to lift into a small smile.
I felt my eyes get heavier, slowly closing my eyes as I felt myself drift off.
I sighed as in relief as I finished the last page of paper work, signing it, before laying my pen down. I got up from my desk and made my way out of my office, ready to call it a night. As I stepped out I heard the TV playing from downstairs.
I glance down at the watch on my wrist, checking the time. 2:20 am. Who would be up at this time? I thought to myself. I made my way down the stairs and walked straight to the living room. I halted at the entrance of the living room, my eyes face softening at what I saw.
I see Austin asleep, which I didn't make me exactly happy when I saw him sitting beside Olivia.
Olivia was laying down resting her head on Ari's lap, and Jeremy was asleep sitting as I saw that he was sitting next to Ari.
I walked over and hovered over Olivia, I softly and slowly lifted her up into my arms. Her eyes fluttered open for a second before closing again.
She snuggled deeper into my chest and I looked down at her with a small smile present on my face.
I felt my tense tired body relax as I held her tight against my body.
I started walking up back up the stairs holding her tight to me as I headed up to her room.
I pushed open the door to her room, seeing that it was slightly cracked open.
I walked over to her bed and slowly laid her down onto the bed.
A piece of her hair fell down across her face.
I reached my hand out slowly and pushed the fallen piece of hair behind her ear.
She looked so beautiful and at peace as she slept, I thought to myself.
After a couple of seconds, I left the room quietly, slowly closing the door behind me, careful not to make a sound. I headed to my rooms closing my door behind me. I stripped out of my clothes, down to my boxers, slipping into my bed. I relaxed deeper into my bed.
A smile played on my lips as I continued to think about how nice Olivia felt in my arms. At this moment I felt happy.
