5. Inferno
Chapter Five
INFERNO
I stood close to the fire, inhaling it, I almost forgot how many times I coughed and shuddered.
My throat burned as my eyes flickered in amazement, I felt like I was in a trance like I couldn’t snap out of this shit.
The sight of fire and the way it flickered and burnt slow had all the blood rushing to the tip of my dick.
It was time to put this fucking fire out, but it was just starting to bloom the way I wanted it to.
Feeling dizzy and consumed with reluctance, I picked up the fire extinguisher and aimed it at the heart of the fire that I had started in my private chambers that was located underground.
I called the west wing of my home “Hades”.
I loved this area the most, everything was red and black.
The smell soon as you got close near Hades smelled like burning wood, smoke, and ash.
Some would say I had a problem, my mom called it Pyromania.
My father always backed me up by telling my mom that I was just being a boy and that I would grow out of it.
That was a lie because I grew into the shit with no problem.
I grew to love and be incited by it. Fire ignited something in me that no one else could.
It felt like I had a bond with it, my persona matched it well.
Stepping out of what was my chamber, I took the steps as fast as I could to get fresh air from my room.
The steps to get to my chamber was connected to my room walk in closet.
I could feel the shift in the air soon as my feet landed onto my carpet and top step.
I moved the huge family picture of just me and my parents in front of the door then pushed my heavy ass safe in place.
Moving my suits on the rack back in place, I stripped out of the dingy Levi pants and shirt that I had on and tossed them in the hamper.
When I entered my room, I instantly could feel the coldness and wind hitting my face.
All of my windows were opened, and I was grateful for the fresh air.
After talking with my father and hearing him practically plead with me to fly back to Mexico within the next two days had me feeling on edge.
I was always busy, the fact that I had to step up and do more in Mexico would mean more sleepless nights.
I was trying to expand my Syndicate past the United States and do more.
I didn’t have a problem with running things in Mexico my big problem was marriage.
Sure, it was nothing but a piece of paper, but I just didn’t want to be tied to a woman in that way.
The only thing I wanted ties with was my money.
After showering, I dressed in all black, the only piece of color that I had on me was a thick Cuban gold chain and a simple twenty-four carat gold watch.
I went to my dresser and eyed the different weapons and since Big B would accompany me, I decided on my mini-Flamethrower and desert eagle pistol.
As I descended the steps and made my way to the front of my house, I stopped in my tracks to answer my phone.
“Yeah.” I waited for Kenya to say what she needed, it was already seven in the evening, and I still had a list of things to do.
“Am I going to the club with you tonight?” Her soft sexy voice was always good to hear.
“No, I’ll be handling business tonight.” I hung up not waiting for a response.
I didn’t have the extra time to hear her breathe and think on what to say to me.
Kenya was weird but beautiful as fuck, she knew how to suck and fuck me the way that I liked.
She wasn’t clingy and handled business the way I expected her too.
I had love for her but that’s exactly where it stopped.
The main reason why I treated her with enough respect was because she went above and beyond for me.
Sometimes when I looked at her, the thought of her wanting more from me ran rampant in my mind.
I hoped like hell she wasn’t thinking about pushing for more, that would truly be the day that I ended our personal close relationship.
The line of business I was in, I only had time to release my nut sack and get right back to business.
Big B arrived on time; I shook my head at the tight ass clothes he had on.
All the money this nigga had he always dressed tacky as hell.
He swore he had swag, but the shit always ended up looking stupid as fuck.
He was a big buff ass nigga wearing shit that looked two sizes to small and very uncomfortable.
Killa complained all the time about his clothes, but I told him that it didn’t bother me because I didn’t give a fuck what the next nigga did.
As long as it didn’t affect my money, I wouldn’t speak on shit concerning the next man’s wardrobe.
Big B shook M&M’s in his hand like they were dice and threw them back and started crunching down hard like they were his favorite meal.
“Finish that shit before you get inside my car.” That was the greeting I offered him.
Everybody knew how much I fucking loved my cars, the car that I picked tonight was my favorite and the market price was worth over twelve million dollars.
It was a Rolls Royce Sweptail they only created five of these bitches.
My father gifted me this one for my thirtieth birthday and had it delivered.
The fiery candy paint red color made me fall in love harder each time I laid eyes on it.
The breeze picked up and I frowned at that, it should’ve been warming up since it was towards the end of May, summer was right around the corner. With the wind being so ignorant it would fuck with my introduction that I had planned for tonight after leaving the club.
“Killa will be at the club as soon as it opens.” I nodded my head and fired up my engine loving the way it roared to life.
The night was still young and my first destination was the infamous café called “Eugene’s Palace.
” Things were moving faster then I expected, and I needed a new attorney.
A bad ass attorney to make sure that I didn’t encounter any problems with the feds.
I liked to stay out of the spotlight and lowkey as possible.
I just never knew when a fed was thirsty enough to try and build a case on me.
My father had Mexico’s police and the entire system inside his back pockets.
I didn’t pay them shit because they had no clue how far my business went.
They probably tried to have a good idea, but they would never have concrete evidence with the way I moved.
Pulling right in front of the café, I eyed valet hard then tossed him my keys. Before stepping into the establishment, I walked around my car and eyed the paint job carefully.
“You like fires?” I asked the young freckle face valet guy that held my keys securely in his pale hands.
“No sir.” I watched his Adam’s apple move down his throat as he looked everywhere else except for me. I hated that, especially for a man. If a man couldn’t look another man in the eyes to me, it was a sign of disrespect and weakness.
“If my car comes back with one scratch, I’m going to properly introduce myself to you.
Na’mean?” I winked and walked away with Big B right behind me.
We walked through a sea of people until we reached the secluded area in the back.
It was deserted with just me and Big B. I checked the time and noted that I was thirty minutes early just to see what kind of attorney this was.
Sure, if I set a specific time, I expected whoever I was doing business with to arrive about fifteen minutes before the actual time I set.
I ordered a glass of cognac and ordered appetizers for the table’s decoration.
I didn’t plan on eating anything. I finally stood to my feet when I saw a tall baldhead woman walk towards my table with long oily legs.
She favored Serena Williams just skinny as hell with the perfect infectious smile.
Pulling out her chair after she greeted me properly, I scooted her up and took a seat across from her.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Ruiz.” Her big brown eyes sparkled as I offered her a tight smile. I was counting the seconds already, ready to wrap this shit up. It was Kenya’s idea that I personally meet up with the person that I would be paying a hefty retainer for.
“Same here, how are you?” I really didn’t give a fuck how Ms. Mason was doing. I was ready to cut to the chase but didn’t want to appear rude as fuck.
“I’m good, really no complaints. I have to fly out to Chicago tomorrow morning on business. Its kind of hard adjusting to time change when I have to up and leave Cali.” She smiled brightly as I thought, Who gives a fuck?
“So, tell me a little about yourself Malice.” She blinked her false lashes and gave me that preppy girl look.
“I prefer Inferno, Ms. Mason.” I looked at her blankly.
“If I may ask, how did you find me?” She smiled and picked up the wine that I had ordered five minutes ago for her.
I didn’t owe her that answer, so I ignored her and picked up my own glass of cognac.
Kenya found her and did her own proper research on Ms. Mason.
Once it all checked out, I had Kenya situate a meet and greet so here we were.
It was very apparent that Ms. Mason wanted to talk a little more about bullshit instead of letting me get right to the point.
Women loved to talk and ramble on about a bunch of nothing.
Maybe this was her trying to be professional, it was a nice gesture, but she would learn when working with me how simple and easy I liked things. I wasn’t into wasting precious time.
Ms. Mason was still waiting on my answer, I chuckled at her and sat my glass down. Big B walked away, and I already knew that he was on his way to get the waitress so she could pour me up another glass of cognac.
