Next day as she went downstairs she was blocked by Vihaan Reyaan and Reva forcing her to tell what she got as a gift.
Reva knows the gift but still she was asking.
She spent the whole day with them. She was missing her brothers.
She wanted to meet them and also she was a little bit upset that no one from her family had called her not even one time.
After a tiring day, she went back to her room only to find her husband sitting there on the bed working on his laptop. She looked at him and thier eyes met. She quickly averted her eyes and went to the washroom to freshen up.
She pulled out one of the night suits that Reyansh bought for her and went to change.
After doing her night routine, she went back into the room and saw Reyansh working. She went to the bed and lay on her side facing her back to Reyansh.
Not even a minute and she saw the lights closing and felt movement on the bed. She turned and saw Reyansh collecting his stuff from the bed as he already turned off the lights.
"Where are you going?" These words left her mouth without even knowing.
"On the couch, Your sleep would be disturbed by the lights. I would go sit on the couch and work there. You can sleep peacefully" He said pointing towards the couch.
"Mr. Shekhawat, I want to say something" she said after gaining so much courage while he was about to turn.
He looked at her waiting for her to speak."Do you remember you said that you were supposed to give another gift and if I need anything then I-I can tell you A-anytime" she stuttered.
"Reyansh Shekhawat can never forget his words Mrs.Shekhawat" He said in his cold tone.
"So I want something.." She said, "And what do you want?" he asked, folding his arms under his chest.
"I want you to sleep on the bed rather than the couch. I know the couch is very uncomfortable and because of that, you have back pain so I can't let you sleep on the couch" He seemed to be shocked.
She was also uncomfortable sleeping with him on the same bed but she can't let him sleep on the couch while she sleeps on this comfortable bed. He sleeps very uncomfortably on that couch.
No she is not being caring she is just..
'Just?' Her subconscious asked.
'Just I don't know'
He was shocked after hearing her. He didn't expect her to question anything but just lie down and sleep. He quickly covered himself from the shock.
"You don't need to worry about me, I will sleep on the couch" he said and turned.
"First of all I am not worried and secondly you said that you will give whatever i want now you can't turn back from your words"
"Okay just one minute" She got up from the bed and grabbed so many pillows from the cupboard. She placed them in between the bed making a border and got two comforters.
He was observing her every action.
"See I will sleep on this side you will sleep on that side this way we both will be comfortable" She looked at him with curiosity waiting for his answer.
'This is the first time I had seen her talking that much' he thought.
"Okay, but don't expect anything else from me. I am just agreeing because I had given words to you and Everyone knows Reyansh Shekhawat never turned back from his words" She nodded while her lips curved into a smile.
He also wanted to sleep comfortably on the bed so he didn't think very much afraid that she would change her mind and he had to sleep on that couch, so he agreed with her.
He settled on the bed and she looked at him "Thank you" she said looking at him.
He looked back at her unsure about what she was thanking for. while she continued "For the gifts I like them" She completed. He nodded and she slept while turning her back to him and he continued to work.
She turned on her back and looked at the ceiling . She was not sleepy now and she had a habit of holding something when she slept. That's why she had a teddy at her parents house. It's childish but for her it's not and now she doesn't have anything to hold.
First two days she was tired of wedding functions so she slept fast but now she can’t. She took a pillow and hugged her but still she was not sleepy. Now she was irritated.
She took her phone from the side table and started to scroll through Instagram. All the while she didn’t notice that her husband was looking at her all the time.
He was not able to focus at work seeing her pouting because she was not able to sleep. He saw her using her phone. He shook his head and focused back on work.
After about ten minutes He looked at her and found her asleep. Her phone was still in her one hand and with the other she was hugging the pillow.
He took the phone and put it on the side table and putting his laptop aside he turned off the light and lay beside her.It feels different to him to have someone sleeping with him on the same bed.
He turned on his side and looked at her and he didn't realize when he went to sleep.
With the continuous blaring of the alarm, she woke up and found herself alone in the room. She didn't give it much thought as Reyansh always woke up early and went to gym.
She went for her morning routine. Soon she got ready in an anarkali suit and left her hairs open.
Reyansh came when she was getting ready. Now he is taking a shower so she decided to wait for him.
She was in a good mood today. Maybe she slept well that’s why. Soon Reyansh entered the bedroom wearing Navy blue suit.
“Let's go?” He said. She hummed and walked out. Reyansh followed him. They were in the hallway. She didn’t notice that there were some pearls on the flour and stepped on it causing her foot to slip and a yell left her mouth.
