She tripped and was about to fall when she stopped mid air and felt someone's hand around her waist pulling her up. Her hands unknowingly wrapped around the neck of the person while taking deep breaths.
She looked up only to find her husband holding her by the waist with a worried look on his face. Her chest heaves up and down with fear while he is still holding her.
"Are you okay?we heard your yell what happened" She heard Avni. She looked towards her and saw everyone standing there. And they were coming towards them.
“Careful” Arya said before pulling her hands back and standing straight.
“There are pearls around” Avni stopped in her tracks.
“Come here both of you carefully” She said to Reyansh and Arya who carefully went to the other side and made their way downstairs. She sent househelpers to clean the area.
“Thankgod you are safe, I was scared” Avni hugged her.
“I am okay Maa” she reassured her.
They had breakfast in silence and then everyone got busy with their work.

Later in the evening, she was sitting beside Reyansh reading her novel while he was working on his laptop when his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and went to the balcony to attend it.
'Might be his business calls' she thought and started reading again. He passed in front of her. She looked at his back and saw him entering the bathroom.
Soon, the door of the wardrobe opened and he entered the bedroom with wet hair and a new set of clothes.
His hairs were still damp and his half-sleeved shirt was giving an outlook of the treasure he was hiding beneath.
She averted her eyes before he could even notice and he left the room without even glancing at her.

She is standing on the balcony, looking at the sky again.
Again? because she admires the moon every night.
Her back facing him. The wind gets to touch her.
Her hair is flying in the direction of the wind.
The moon looks pretty despite the cold weather. It was somewhere around 12 at Night. She looked at the sky. Unknown of presence behind him.
To the moon. She sometimes feels like a beggar, craving love and affection knowing that she won't get anything from anyone.
These days she is overthinking a lot, she needs to work on herself from tomorrow. She closed her eyes and smiled, thinking that everything is fine even if it is not.
'Why did he do this to me? Did he forget that I am his daughter?'
Somewhere in the corner of her heart she had a soft corner for her father, well which daughter doesn't, No matter how they treat you.
She thought he was strict but he loves her even though he doesn't show this, he loves her but now she doubts it. He loves his reputation more.
He was standing there when a voice from inside said to go inside. He did that. He walked inside quietly. She was still there looking at the sky and he was standing beside her, he noticed that her eyes were closed, as if the cold winds soothed her.
She opened her eyes after she sensed someone staring at her. He was not staring at her. Not at all.
She was startled by his sudden presence, she didn't even hear him coming here.
"You scared me"
'I scared her? What is she looking at? The clouds?' He looked at the clouds.
He chuckled. His hairs are ruffled and she had a sudden urge to run her finger through his hairs.
"You should be sleeping by now" She didn't answer him and when he turned his gaze towards her, he found her looking at him with a soft expression. And yes, she isn't blinking her eyes.
'Reyansh looks good with a beard like he has now'. She thought.
"I asked you something," she blinked.
"What?" She asked.
"You should be sleeping by now, it's late," he said, moving his gaze from her.
She didn't even think twice before saying "Are you worried?" Dammit, she must be out of her mind.
"No way." she nodded.
Yes, he shouldn't feel caring emotions for her. After all, no one cares about her and why do she always have to expect things?.
"Good"
"I am not worried" he Repeated while She smiled as if she loved what he said right now. As if she isn't disappointed with his words. He felt pain in his chest. This smile of hers gives him a weird feeling.
"Where were you?" She asked after some moments of silence and much discussion in her head. "Why are you asking?"
"You left without telling me so I was.. "he cut her off.
"Worried..?"
"You shouldn't be.." She looked deep into his dark hazel eyes trying to find any emotion.
"Don't look at me like that," He warns.
"Why?" He didn’t answer.
"Sleep well" he said and left.
