What do you feel when you know that the biggest nightmare of your life is sitting just outside the room?
You will feel scared and when you know that the biggest secret of your life can be revealed anytime and you don't know who will trust you and who will not you feel terrified this is what Arya is feeling right now.
But She had to be strong. She knew she had to be, she couldn't show him her weakness she couldn't.
So taking a deep breath She went outside the kitchen with two maids by her side with the trays of snacks.
And there he was sitting with Reyansh discussing something. Reyaan and Arjun were on the opposite couch.
He stopped talking when he saw her and looked in her direction which caused everyone to look at her direction.
Her breath hitched hands started shaking when she saw him looking at her with that same old smirk.
Then her eyes fall on the love of his life and just with one look her breath becomes normal she feels safe.
She put the tray on the table and went inside the kitchen again. Everyone again fell into the light conversation, more likely Reyansh and Sathvik talking and Reyaan and Arjun just sitting there replying here and there.
But this slight change in behavior of Arya didn't go unnoticed by Reyansh.
After some time a maid came and informed them that dinner was ready and they made their way to the dining area.
Arjun sat on the middle chair and then Reyansh and Sathvik were on one side and Reyaan was on the other side.
Avni Arya and some maids came with different food items and placed them there. Avni sat beside Reyaan but Arya didn't have appetite nor did she want to sit near him.
So she asked Her mother in law "Maa I am not feeling well, can I go to my room?"
"Beta eats something" She whispered. "Maa I don't have appetite and I just wanna rest," she whispered back.
"Okay then go and rest if you need anything don't hold back I am here okay?" She hummed and went from there.
Reyansh who was looking at both of them frowned when he saw Arya going from there. There was a change in Arya's behavior and he could feel it was making him feel restless.
'Is she fine?' He thought.
Everyone ate silently after that and maids came with the dessert. One maid was serving dessert when her hand accidentally pushed the glass of juice which was already at the corner of the table causing it to fall on Sathvik.
He abruptly stood and looked at the maid furiously. everyone stood up and the maid started to apologize "I am sorry sir it happened accidentally I am sorry"
"It's okay Sathvik Beta go and quickly wash it before it leaves stains there," Avni said.
"I am sorry again sir" Sathvik turned to her and looked at her with pure anger which completely turned into a smile without anyone noticing
Or as he thought
"It's okay," he said "Umm where is the washroom?"
Reyansh who had been silent till now spoke "Upstairs, take right" Sathvik left from there and Reyansh looked at the maid who was now slightly shaking.
That was when Reyansh made his first biggest mistake by sending him alone.
Avni saw her and told her to leave and look at Reyansh "It's okay it happens sometimes. Everybody sit and finish eating"
Everyone sat down but Reyansh's restlessness was now increasing, meanwhile Sathvik was going through the corridor when he heard a faint noise of music.
He went in the direction from where the sound was coming and stopped in front of the door. He opened it and saw his baby girl dancing lost in her thoughts without a worry about the world.
He went inside and locked the door and Arya who was still in her trance didn't notice anything.
Her back was facing his front he went behind her, snuck a hand through her waist and whispered in his ear.
"Finally I got some time alone with you, baby girl" That's when she realized someone's presence behind her and His words sucked the strength out of her body. Dread came to her body and she stills in her actions.
She was panicking now. Every moment from earlier came back to her mind and the thought of that repeating sends a chill down to her body.
She left from there because she didn't want to be anywhere near him so she came into her room but every action of that night was playing repeatedly in her mind.
She tried to stop but nothing was working she was going to panic so she did what made her relax she turned on the music and started to dance.
She started to think about Reyansh when she first saw him 2 years ago then when she first met him during their engagement and their wedding how she started to admire him rather than love him.
Everything was playing in her mind and she was becoming normal. She was lost in her world, her little world where there was no worry, nothing , just she and her love.
She was so lost that she didn't notice when the door of her room opened and her deadly nightmare or we can say the reality was now standing behind her.
She didn't feel anything until a hand came in contact with his waist and
damn
She came back to reality her body lost its strength and dread came to her body but she knew she had to escape through this again. She had to.
She gathered all her strength and elbowed him in his ribs making him groan in pain causing him to lose his hold and she escaped from him.
"Bold of you to assume that you'd harm me when my family is outside," She said, moving back to maintain the distance. She was freaking inside but she didn't show it on her face.
He quickly recovered from his pain and looked at her "Do you think somebody will hear you? Or we can say that your so-called family will believe you" He raised his eyebrows and smirked.
Deja vu. Everything was reapeating.
Arya's back touched the wall, making it impossible for her to escape when Sathvik started walking towards her.
"And why do you think I'd harm you?" He raised his hand to touch her face but she was fast enough to yank it away.
"Stay away" She pushed him, seething with anger but it had no effect on the man in front of her as he held her wrist.
"Why do you always play this hard huh? Now that you're married, does your husband satisfy you enough that you don't need me?"
She wiggled in his hold, her heart sinking into the pit of her stomach at the thought of something happening in the room. But more than fear, the touch and words of the man were making her feel nauseous.
"Leave me" She gritted her teeth, trying to come out of his hold but Sathvik pushed her to the wall causing her head to hit really hard on the wall and hovering her figure, making it impossible for her to move.
She hated it. Tears gathered in her eyes at the thought of being touched by this man, again. His touch felt like thorns that were pricking through her skin.
Sathvik's hand moved to her waist and she could feel her skin burning. This wasn't what she expected.
Inhaling a deep breath, Arya kicked him in his balls, through her knees and groaning in pain, Sathvik let go of her.
"Fuck you bitch. I'm not letting you go this time" Sathvik groaned and before he could reach her again, Arya picked up the vase from her right and banged it on his head.
Sathvik shrieked in pain and held his head, where she hit him. The vase fell on the ground and she looked at him horrified. Adrenaline rushed through her body when she saw the blood oozing out from his temple.
But it wasn't the time to think about anything but her own escape. She attempted to walk away but was held again by Sathvik by her hair and she heard a knock at the door.
