43.

There was heavy silence in the room. No one was speaking a word, Afraid to break the silence.

Arya turned to look at Reyansh, who had a smirk on his face. Her eyes fall on Vihaan and Aryan, who look like they know something like this will happen. All she felt was dread to look at them. She looked forward, and her eyes met with Ashvini, who was looking at her with an unknown expression.

"Reyansh," She called, and all eyes turned to them.

"What's happening?" Ishan whispered to Reva, who shushed him.

"Where is he?" She asked in a low voice, but in the pin-drop silence, it was hearable for everyone. Their eyes are wide in shock after listening to this.

"Reyansh. Don't tell me You are involved in this," Arjun asked in disbelief.

"We," Vihaan said.

"We are involved in this," Aryan said.

"Why did you do this?" It was Ashvini.

"What do you expect me to do for what he did to her again? Just sit and watch like this," Aryan yelled, frustrated.

"What do you mean by again?" Naveen asked.

"Argh, How do you know what is happening with your daughter?" He yelled.

"Only if you have ever cared about her. Only if you had asked her what was happening with her, you would have known."

Divya looked at her daughter only to see her shedding silent tears. Guilt rushed to her, knowing what had happened with her daughter, but she knew nothing about it.

Reyansh looked at her and pulled her towards himself. Side hugging her.

"Can you tell me how many times you have called her after her wedding to ask how she was doing?" He looked at them for an answer, which never came.

"How can you when you have never called her?" He shook his head at his parents.

"If we haven't, then she can also call us," Ashvini said.

Aryan scoffed upon hearing this.

"Oh, with which right, as your granddaughter for whom you never cared?" he looked at his grandparents. "Or as your daughter, which you never meant," he said, looking at his parents.

"Don't guilt trap us. It will probably also be her fau.."She was cut off by a loud voice.

"Don't you dare to complete this sentence," Reyansh growled at her, making Everyone flinch.

"It was never her fault neither last time nor this time.

That boy was wrong all along, but you still believed him, and because of you, he tried again.

He thought whatever he did, no one would say anything to him because of you.

He found this courage. It's your fault, so don't you dare to blame My wife," He said in his deep, dangerous voice, looking directly into her eyes.

She was scared for a moment, and her words got caught in her throat.

He knows she is older and he shouldn't talk like this with her, but he doesn't care now when she tries to blame his wife. No one will raise his voice at his wife and get away like that.

He looked at his parents who had proud faces like telling him

That's my boy.

Avni looked at Divya and Naveen and said.

"She is your daughter. But you never let her feel like that, never gave her the love of their parents, never supported her in her dreams. You were never with her in her happiest moments or even sad.

You have been with her always, yet you do not know what is happening with her.

One time, only one time, she asked for something from you.

She asked you to believe her, but you didn't. You didn't believe your daughter over who?

Over that guy whom you don't even know something other than his name yet you chose him over your own daughter.

It looks like She is an orphan even after having parents.

" Words were bitter but true; each word was hitting them like a needle, making them hiss and guilty.

Making them think about what they have done.

"We have known her for month, but yet we can tell she is not that type of girl.

She is beautiful inside out. You never understood her.

You could have, but the thing is, you never tried.

She is not your daughter she never was. She is our daughter, and we will not listen to one word against her," Arjun said.

Naveen and Divya looked down in shame, unable to meet their eyes.

Arav, who was silently listening to them speak for the first time.

"Mama papa. I know I shouldn't speak between elders, but I want to ask one thing.

In all of this, what was her fault that she was a girl?

It's not like boys are always right, and girls are always wrong.

Many times, boys are at fault, but we never say anything to them.

In most cases, the girl is always said to be at fault.

People comment on their dress, behavior, family upbringing, and whatnot.

But this time, it was your daughter, but you also raised your finger at her.

You didn't trust your daughter, it means you didn't trust your own upbringing.

She was the victim here, but you all make her believe that she is a sinner. "

"Sorry, we are so sorry," Divya says, still looking down, shedding silent tears, still not able to look at their eyes.

They know they are wrong, so wrong they failed, they failed their daughter as a parent.

Aryan chuckled. "Sorry, one word, five letters. Can this sorry fix the damage you have caused all your life? Can you undo all the things you have done? If you have believed her and taken actions against him or let me take This would not have happened " He raised his voice.

"And I am sorry. I am sorry to say that I am ashamed to be your son." He looked at his parents. And then at his grandparents. "And your grandson" Words stabbed them like a knife.

"Aryan," Partab Singh whispered.

"Dadu. You were with them all along, but still, you didn't say anything. Didn't do anything. You could have stopped them when they were behaving badly with Aaru when they were blaming her. But you didn't do anything you were always yet never there "

"I am sorry." Again, sorry.

They were so busy with each other that they didn't notice the person they were all fighting for was not there. She never was from the start. They noticed when they heard Reva.

"Wait where is-where is Bhabhi?"

Reyansh looked beside her only to find the place empty.

"Where is she?" Aryan looked at him and asked.

"I don't know she was here," He said, rubbing his forehead.

They looked around themselves only to find someone else was also missing.

They looked at each other and said through the eyes that they had the same thought.

"He shouldn't have done that fuck" Reyansh cursed and they dashed out of the house. Everyone looked at them puzzled, but little did they know where they went. They also knew that they would come back home safe and sound and with Arya.

When they reached there, the door of the building was open. They went inside thinking their suspicions were right, but when they reached inside, what they saw shocked them.

The chair where a person was bound with ropes and chains for a week was now empty. All the ropes were hanging on the empty chair.

"You shouldn't have done this, Arya," He said in a dangerously low voice.
