44.

There was a lot of noise all around her. They were fighting, fighting because of her. A family was grieving about losing their son because of her. Everything was happening because of her. She was the cause of all this.

As she thought.

She doesn't want this, never wanted. She just wanted a peaceful life, a life where there were no fights, only love. She just wanted a simple life with the love of her close ones.

Is it too much to ask?

She was unable to bear all this, all the pain, all the suffering. All the happiness in her life comes with pain, a lot of pain. She is tired. Tired of all this mess. Everything was fine till yesterday and now everything is again messed up. Like there came a huge storm that destroyed everything.

And the name of that storm was Sathvik kakkar. Whenever this person has come into her life, he has left everything destroyed. She always wished that that one night had never happened.

Everything would have been fine, wouldn't it?

Nothing happened that night but still everything happened. She lost herself. She lost her parent's her family and everything. When she started to live again he appeared to destroy everything.

She didn't want any of this, but it happened. The only question that lingered in her mind was.

'Why me? Why always me?'

Whatever was happening was too much for her. Her family seems guilty, but did they? She doesn't know.

Reyansh and his family were fighting for her. Her brothers were fighting their parents because of her. A family was crying because their son was not with them, and again, she was the reason.

Unable to take it, she took a step back and slipped out of the living room without anyone noticing or as she thought. She just wanted an answer .

Why always her? What she had done to anyone to ended up like this.

She was walking and walking, not knowing where to go and where to find her answers. She was going to take a step when a hand gripped her arm and pulled her back.

"Aaru, where is your mind? What were you thinking? You would have fallen." She looked at Arohi in confusion and then looked behind her shoulder only to see a pool where she would have fallen if she had taken a step further. And probably died because she doesn't know how to swim.

She walked outside of the house, and when she came into the pool area, she doesn't know.

"Arya," Arohi said softly "Do you know what would have happened now"

"I would have died," She said as casually as if it was nothing. "Maybe it would have been better, right?" Arohi looked at her in disbelief.

"There would have been no fights no crying no pain everything would be fine right i think should have done that a long time ago everyone would have been happy"

"Arya"

"But it's still not too late, right? If I will die now, everyone would be happy"

She took a first step back. There was a maximum four-step distance from the pool.

"Arya"

"You know na I hate fights to the core if I am gone no one will fight everyone will be happy"

Another step back, another call.

"Arya listen to me"

"No, you listen to me. If I am gone, everything will be fine because I am the cause of everyone's misery. Nothing will be changed. Papa and Mama have to not be ashamed of me. Dadi will be happy. Dadu....I don't know "

Another step back. Arohi tried to take a step but she stopped her.

"Don't come near me. " She was not in the right state of mind. She had just one thought: everyone was fighting because of her. A family had lost their son because of her.

She doesn't care; the family she is talking about has never cared about her, and the lost son has done what to her. She is like this. She doesn't want anyone to suffer because of her, no matter what they do to her.

She didn't want her brothers to fight with their parents.

She didn't want the Sathviks family to suffer because of their son's deed.

What he did was wrong, so she can never forgive him, but what was his parent's fault in all this?

Why are they suffering? She didn't want this. She was in her thoughts.

Arohi saw this chance and pulled her far away from the pool, making her snap back from her thoughts. In the process, her feet slightly twitched, making her wince, but Arohi didn't notice this.

She was about to speak when Arohi slapped her, making her head tilt due to the impact.

"What were you doing huh? What the fuck you were doing? What do you think by ending it all everything will be fine?"

"Wouldn't it?" Arohi looked at her in disbelief.

"Do you even think about us? What we have done without you, did you for a second think about your brothers who love you more than anyone, about uncle and aunty who adore you as their own daughter, or about me your best friend, about all the people who love you-" She paused looking at her and said.

"About Reyansh." Arya looked at her wide-eyed. She didn't think about them for once. All she thought about was her.

"I-I...." She shuttered. "You didn't. You didn't even think about Reyansh" Arohi shook his head.

"I am tired, tired of all this." She fell to her knees. Arohi kneeled beside her and took her in her arms.

"One moment I am happy, and the other moment something bad happened that forced me to think that the happiness I felt was real or it was just a dream," She whispered. Arohi rubbed her back.

"Can't just everything be normal with me? Why don't they like me? Why do Mama and Papa look at me like they are ashamed of me? Why did Dadi say hurtful things? Was it my fault?.." Arya let out his questions, but did she get an answer?

No, Because no one has the answer to that.

All of this happened in less than five minutes but this felt like eternity.

They heard a voice calling them to look up to see Vihaan running to them. He noticed their absence and slipped out of there.

"I was looking for you everywhere. What are you doing here?" Her eyes then fell on Arya, who was curled up in Arohi's embrace.

"Arya." She looked at him with her crying face; tears were falling nonstop from her eyes.

"Everything will be fine," He said with hope. Caressing her head.

She suddenly sat up and said something catching him off guard. "You know na where is he took me to him"

"But Aaru..."He hesitated.

"Please," She pleaded. Unable to resist, he nodded. He didn't know if what he was doing was right or not, but at the moment, he wanted to give everything to his sister that she asked him.

He messaged Reyaan to join them. He knows he can't tell this to Aryan or Reyansh. As Reyaan came they four made their way to the building.

"Reyansh bhai will kill both of us if he gets to know," Reyaan voiced out Vihaan's thoughts.

"I know"

"No one will lay a finger on both of you; I will make sure of it," Arya said to them. They knew she would do what she said. But still, there was fear. Well, it was Reyansh Shekhawat.

They reached the building where there were bodyguards all around. Seeing Vihaan, they saluted him and opened the gate.

They made their way inside, and their eyes fell on the person tied to a chair, all beaten up and wounded.

Clothes torn out and soaked with dry blood.

His face is fully damaged to the level that no one will be able to recognize them.

Eyes hooded, lips parted, trying to breathe through the mouth.

He breathes so slowly that from afar, it looks like he is dead.

He slowly looked at them. Blinking, trying to recognize their faces. He tried to say something, but no words came out.

An audible gasp left their mouth.

"What did you do to him? He is looking like he will die any moment," She asked, looking at Vihaan.

"Well that's the point"

"What? Vihaan he will die. No matter what he did to me, you have no right to take someone's life.

I know you took action against him, but I thought it was legal. I didn't know you were doing this." She can't bear the guilt of being the reason for someone's death no matter what they did to her.

"She is right . You have no right to take someone's life, and if he died, she would take the blame upon herself as how she is." She pointed at Arya.

"I can never forgive him for what he did, but it will be better if you took action against him legally than doing this." She said,

Vihaan looked at them and nodded. He knew Reyansh and Aryan would be mad, very, very mad, but he had to do this. After all, it was Arya's fight. It's her right to fight however he wants.

Vihaan, with the help of Reyaan, did everything professionally like no one's name came from them.

He looked at it as an accident and called the hospital from an unknown number who came and took him to the hospital.

His family was informed that this was an accident and some people came and beat him up for his doings.

News spread like fire. No one knew where he was from the week, what happened, why it happened. They just knew what they were let to know. And Sathvik was not in the state to let them know.

They know the consequences of what they have done.

If Sathvik opened his mouth and told the truth about what happened, there would be a problem, but Not a big problem that they couldn't handle.

They could say anything and prove anything, and above all, he himself will be in trouble if he opens his mouth.

Arya Arohi Vihaan and Reyaan looked at all of this from afar. Arya has neither forgiven nor forgotten what happened. She will make sure that he gets punished but in a legal way. This time, she will not just sit in fear and do nothing. She has everyone with her this time.

After they were sure everything was done, they decided to go home. Little did they know another storm was waiting for them at home.
