Chapter 3 The Fatal Push

"Song Ning, are you deaf? What are you daydreaming for? I told you to get a big bag ready so we can pack the supplies later."

Xu Hui's disdainful voice interrupted my memory.

I took a deep breath, quickly thinking of a way while moving to get the bag for her.

Since she wanted to be the protagonist, I had to respect others' fates.

Reborn, I definitely wouldn't stop Xu Hui from going to the Zero-Yuan Purchase again.

But the problem was I didn't believe in the Apocalypse theory.

I couldn't go; I needed to find a way to escape.

I found a large woven bag in the room. My eyes slid over the fruit knife, and an idea came to me:

"Xu Hui, I'm really sorry, but I can't go with you. I think I have my period."

I turned my butt towards Xu Hui and showed her the color of my pants.

Blood had soaked through, and the amount was obvious.

Xu Hui grabbed the bag and said with disgust:

"The Apocalypse is coming, why are you so fussy? If you can't, just soak it in water, right?"

I remained silent to show my unwillingness.

Xu Hui sneered coldly at me: "If you don't go, don't regret it. When everyone realizes, the Apocalypse will have started, and there will be no supplies outside. I won't share with you."

Then she impatiently urged, "The Apocalypse is coming, don't you want to eat for free? Come with me!"

Seeing I didn't move, she angrily left and slammed the door.

I hid behind the peephole and noticed she went straight to Brother Yong's house at 1201.

Through the audio equipment, I could faintly hear their conversation at the door.

"Brother Yong, Scarred Brother, Song Ning isn't going! But in the Apocalypse novel, the Zero-Yuan Purchase is dangerous, and other teams might rob us. What do we do?"
