Chapter 9 Xu Hui’s Threat

I had just calmed my racing heart.

Footsteps sounded outside the corridor, getting closer.

My grip on the Tang Sword tightened.

Then, a knock came at the door:

"Song Ning, open the door."

It was Xu Hui.

Through the peephole, I could clearly see the blood on Xu Hui's face.

Not far behind her, Brother Yong and Scarred Brother were hurriedly moving supplies into 1201.

Rainwater and blood dripped from their bodies onto the ground, glistening coldly.

The remaining half of the supplies were at Xu Hui's feet.

I could see that she wanted to bring the supplies into my house.

The ruthless fear the evil, and the evil fear those without a death wish.

Xu Hui's knife had intimidated everyone.

The greedy neighbors no longer dared to stop her.

Even Brother Yong and Scarred Brother looked at her with new respect, somewhat wary.

I was afraid of her too.

So, I wouldn't let her step into this house.

Seeing that I didn't open the door and remained silent.

Xu Hui impatiently wiped her knife: "Song Ning, stop pretending to be dead. I know you're home. Open the door."

Yes, in this heavy rain, besides staying home, I had nowhere else to go.

Seeing that I was still silent, Xu Hui suddenly raised her long knife and stabbed it into the peephole monitor.

The display screen inside the door went black.

The monitor was broken and could only be used as a normal peephole.

I suppressed my racing heart and quietly watched the somewhat manic Xu Hui outside.

In the dim light, half of her face was hidden in the shadows.

Holding a bunch of keys, she brought them to the peephole, whispering like a demon:

"Song Ning, do you think if you don't open the door, I won't have a place to live?

You don't know yet, both of those little bitches from 1204 are dead."
