CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

ISAAC

––––––––

Well, this is new.

I’d feel a little sick about it, if I wasn’t currently coming inside the woman whose neck I’d just sliced open.

Note to self: Don’t be in doggie style next time. It’s a hell of a pain holding up a dead body while you’re thrusting your cock in and out of it.

A little ashamed of myself for not thinking ahead. But I can’t do everything. I’m on the run, having broken out of prison. Planning a wedding. Trying to find the perfect ring.

Oh, on that, the woman I just fucked...to death...is about to donate her winnings to me.

Fifty thousand dollars.

I made my way to Las Vegas several hours ago and spotted Veronica...wait, Wendy. Shit. Louise.

Close.

Anyway, I spotted her at the tables having a winning streak. You can always tell because people start surrounding them. So I sat opposite her and watched her.

Wendy, fuck, Louise noticed me, and I sent her a wink. When she blushed, and then did it a second time, I made my way closer. Eventually, I sat next to her and asked her name.

“Louise.” She’d replied, and I knew as I picked up on the tremble in her voice that she wasn’t a confident woman.

I wasn’t surprised.

She was much older than me, overweight, her fashion sense was fucking terrible, and there was a dent where a ring had once sat on her left hand.

Divorced.

Likely having a midlife crisis. Or her ex-husband was.

I complimented her, flirted, and she was putty in my hands. When she hit the fifty thousand mark, I slid my hand over her ghastly trousers and squeezed.

“Let’s get a room and celebrate. Privately,” I whisper into her shoulder length hair.

“I can’t,” Louise says. “I just couldn’t.”

My hand slid farther, pressing boldly against her clit as she jumped. “I want to taste you. Let me lick your puss and make you happy.”

Her face burned bright red.

“Don’t think. Just get up, cash in your chips, and we’ll get some champagne,” I instructed her.

When her needy eyes met mine, I almost cringed. She wasn’t very attractive. Not like my Cassy. But needs must and all that.

I was running out of time and needed the money she had at her disposal. Life couldn’t have handed me a better opportunity.

“Don’t let him win. Fuck me like he fucked her,” I say, taking a gamble.

Fire filled Louise’s eyes, and she glanced down at her chips. Then nodded and climbed to her feet.

Good girl.

Now she was out of pain.

And I was in the money.

I let her body crumple under me as I pulled my cock out of her. There’s blood everywhere. I can’t stay. But I do need to sleep. Soon I’ll be in California, so it’s time to get organized.

I shower, removing the wig I got to mask my identification, get dressed, and head back downstairs to find the perfect ring for Cassy.

I will tell her about Louise.

If I want her to be honest with me about her infidelity, then I will be with her. I’m not telling her I fucked a dead corpse, though. I’m not stupid. Cassy won’t forgive that. She’s a kind and beautiful woman.

Men keep these sorts of things to themselves. We do a lot to protect our women and make them ours. This is my contribution.

Once I have a diamond, I’ll find a hotel for the night and then get back on the road. By Monday night, I will be in California.

I can’t wait to see my love.

The soon-to-be Mrs. Isaac Miller.
