Chapter 21 Three Years Ago

Three years ago, I found her.

The first time I saw her, her posture showed she was not a Blind Person.

I had known since childhood what a real Blind Person's posture looked like.

I approached her, but I never told her about my relationship with my sister. I was afraid she would stay away because of it.

Later, we became lovers and lived together.

I installed Security Camera Feed in the house. I wanted to understand her better.

I hoped to find some clue about the person who killed my sister.

On the Security Camera Feed, she often sat alone, staring at the photos on her phone and crying.

Those were videos from years ago, when she and my sister lived together.

She used to suffer from depression and had even considered ending her life.

Then she met my sister, a Blind Person who could not see the world yet always turned toward the light.

She looked deeply moved. It seemed she saw there were still so many people in this world who were trying hard to live.

Under my sister's encouragement and quiet influence, she found the courage to live again.

I saw her change the way she lived to match my sister.

She even tried to experience being a Blind Person.

She and my sister went from friends to roommates, then to colleagues at the massage parlor.

They went crazy, laughed, listened to the rain, watched the sunset, celebrated birthdays, and fed stray cats in the park together.
