Tildi was a mess, but that wasn’t what made the day unusual. Today, she was a mess while waiting in the airport to see her sister for the first time in over six years. Six years was a long time. What if Breezy didn’t recognize her? Tildi didn’t have the same head full of drop dead, gorgeous red hair nature had given Breezy.
She fingered her waves of cotton candy pink hair. Her Daddy had caught her this morning about to color her hair the mousy brown it had been the last time Breezy had seen her. Leave it to her to disobey her Daddy and get caught standing right in front of the mirror about to squirt stinky goop on her head. He’d been less than amused.
