Enslee #3

I could hear people yelling questions out to him, mostly about the awards, the designer he was wearing, and eventually about who I was.

As soon as those questions came in, he turned to me, and I had to remember to breathe.

Declan already had one arm around me, and now he turned, and with his other hand, he slipped it under my chin and tipped my head up slightly.

As soon as our eyes met, his mouth came down on mine.

More flash bulbs erupted, then he pulled away and smiled. “This is my girl. Meet Enslee Byrne.”

I didn’t say anything as I heard the door on the limo open once more. Seconds later, Brogan joined us on the red carpet. Since he was also well known, the reporters addressed him by name. “Mr. Sinclair…”

Brogan took one of my hands while Declan still held the other. I looked up at my other lover as planned, and his mouth descended on mine as well. There seemed to be confusion from what I could gather from those around us, but my heart was beating so fast it drowned most of it out.

Holy shit! I just came out as the girlfriend to two men on the red carpet.

And not just two men, but powerful and devastatingly sexy ones.

Brogan pulled away, then flashed his megawatt smile at the cameras. “And she is also my girl.”

I knew what was going to happen next, so I stepped back as the men moved closer in front of me.

Seconds later, the world got to finally witness what I did every day.

Declan and Brogan pressed their mouths against each other’s.

They’d finally done it. At the beginning of the year, I’d promised them this moment would come for them, but even I’d had my doubts.

It’d been meant to comfort them during their break-up, but my manifestation had worked.

My smile widened even more because now everything was perfect.

We weren't at the end of our happily ever after, but the beginning of it.

From this moment on, the three of us could finally be our true and unapologetic selves.

Brogan and I could rewrite the stories our own fathers had tried to write for us, and Declan could be free in the one his father had fought so valiantly to give him.

Declan finally pulled away, then said, “And this is my man.” With that, they both tightened their grip on my hands and pulled me back between them. We posed for a few pictures, then walked into the theater for the awards show.

Several hours later, Declan had won two out of the three awards he’d been nominated for.

We were so proud of him. He'd been agonizing over his speeches since the mid-July announcement when he’d found out that he’d been nominated.

I'd helped him with the writing, so I was thrilled that he’d used so many of my points.

He was witty, charming, and endearing, but those were things I’d always known him to be.

We were less rehearsed upon leaving the theater.

Of course, there’d been questions about his wins, and the one loss he had, but Brogan basically hurried us along to the limo.

Most of Hollywood would be hitting up the post-award show parties, so I was surprised when Declan tapped the glass between the limo driver and us. “Take us to La Jolla.”

As soon as the window raised, I watched both men remove their jackets and ties and start to unbutton their shirts.

It was an almost three-hour drive between Los Angeles and La Jolla, and I now knew there’d be no public afterparties.

As the shirts were tossed onto one of the leather seats, I knew exactly how they intended to spend these few hours.

Several of them later, I was completely satiated as I lay across their laps in nothing more than Brogan’s dress shirt.

I didn’t even have panties on any longer because they’d disappeared after being tossed somewhere in the limo.

Of course, that’d been after they’d stuffed them in my mouth as I rode Brogan while Declan fucked my ass.

“We’re almost home,” Declan said as he played with one of the long, cobalt highlights.

“She looks well fucked. I think our girl will be out the moment her head hits the pillow.”

“I think you’re right, but first, it’ll be time to shower.”

The idea of bed was far more appealing, but before I could open my mouth to protest, the limo came to a stop, and I knew we were home.

Brogan carried me inside, while Declan ran the shower for me.

Once inside, they ran the loofah over every inch of my body.

Although they could wash their touch off me, they couldn't wash their fingerprints away as easily. And there were many I’d noticed on my neck when they brushed my hair.

Once I was tucked into bed, I began to drift off.

No longer did I have to dream of being happy one day, because I truly was when I was with them.

It’d taken us a while to get to this place, and while unconventional, it worked.

The men climbed into bed, and as I nestled myself between them, one truth remained.

We’d once been intertwined to one another by deception, guilt, and betrayal. Not anymore. Now, we were intertwined by devotion, respect, and most of all–love. It wasn’t lies that bound us together, but destiny. Theirs… Mine… Ours… And it was now a truly unbreakable thread.
