CHAPTER 30

*~* Breaker *~*

What the fuck is wrong with Fury? He’s snarling at anyone who looks in his general direction.

I can see Wraith is ready to explode, and if those two go at it, we’ll have a heck of a job separating them.

Floss wanders over to him, wrapping her arm around his waist, and I’m amazed he slings his arm around her shoulder and walks toward his room with her.

“Fuckin’ idiot,” I hear snarled, and turn to see Rage leaning against the bar giving Fury a disgusted look.

“What’s it got to do with you?” Fury snarls, and Rage smirks…Fuck, it's that nasty smirk that says shit's gonna hit the fan any moment.

“Nothin’, absolutely nothing.” Fury turns to walk away again with Floss. Then Rage continues, “But since you don’t want Jamie anymore, I’m gonna take my shot.”

Fury roars, turning fast, which has Floss staggering away from him. I jump to my feet, but not fast enough to get between the two of them to stop the brawl that ensues.

Fury punches Rage in the gut, and although the wind rushes out of him Rage doesn’t pause in his return punch, which hits Fury on the jawline, sending him flying backwards.

Fists are flying fast, and I jump into the middle of them while Griller steps up at the same time. I grab Rage, and Griller grabs Fury, stopping them both in their tracks. But it is a bellow from Whack that brings everyone to stand quietly and wait for what happens next.

Whack gives both of them a harsh look, and snarls. “My office, now…”

We all watch as Fury and Rage walk into the Pres’s office, and I wouldn’t want to be in Fury’s shoes right now.

Rage doesn’t give a fuck, and when he turns and winks at me I know he did this on purpose to get Fury in the office and face up to whatever is going on with him and Jamie.

It has to be about Jamie because of his reaction to Rage’s comment about her.

This is going to be interesting, and we all will watch and wait for what happens next.

It takes only minutes for an explosion of shouting to erupt from Whack's office, and it is Whack who is doing the shouting. If I were the one getting that anger thrown at me I’d seriously be thinking about what I’d done.

I’ve only ever had Whack angry at me once, and I have to tell you it is not a pleasant experience.

When Fury and Rage walk out of the office, Fury is red in the face and struggling to hold back his emotions. Rage, however, is looking smug and again winks at me as he walks past. Shaking my head, I grin at his antics, because honestly he’s not worried at all about any aftermath of this mess.

I finish my drink and give Leo, the prospect behind the bar, a nod as I pass him my empty mug.

I walk out of the clubhouse and straddle my hog, running my hand down her tank and thinking how beautiful she is.

Firing her up I cruise out of the compound, shocked when I see Fury on the gate.

Damn, he’s got punishment! I give a tip of my fingers to my helmet as I pass through the gate, and right before I pull some power from this baby between my legs.

Walking into the sports store, I head for the hoodies. They have some here that I may like, but I’m not one for being a walking advertisement. ‘Advertisement!’ Turning my ass around, I head to the craft shop that Molly used when she had her placard-walking moment. Maybe this woman can help?

Half an hour later, I walk back to my hog, and I’m feeling smug as fuck. I can imagine this is going to cause a storm, and I can’t wait.

Back at the clubhouse I knock on Whack’s office door and am told to enter as I push it slightly more to see if he is busy. Entering, I give Pattie a smile as she is sitting next to Whack’s desk with a folder in front of her.

“Continue, Pattie. Breaker, give us a minute.” Whack pays attention to Pattie again, and I listen to her explanation of what she wants to cover for the club businesses.

“If we cover the website with customer reviews alongside a photograph of their vehicle, it will show how reliable you all are. It could work as it’s different from the normal websites we see.

” Pattie passes a piece of paper to Whack with an image of a website on it.

He studies it carefully before he speaks.

That is a typical reaction for Whack, and we all know to wait for him to say whatever he wants, even if it feels like… eventually.

“I like this, Pattie. Go with it and maybe add the roadside recovery business to it because that is a huge part of the club's income at this time. Getting out of the illegal shit has left us needing to get the business up and running, and quickly.” Passing the paperwork back to Pattie, Whack leans back in his seat. “Think about what you can do if we get the bar. We are awaiting the owner's decision on the offer we put forward. But it’s not gonna be a titty bar; the days of that have diminished, but a bar where we can accommodate the younger generation. There isn’t much around here for them, and we could offer them somewhere to go on weekends.”

I allow my mind to wander while they carry on their conversation. My mind thinks about Molly laid out in bed, rosy cheeks and a sheen of sweat beaded on her forehead. Who would have thought an orgasm…

“Breaker…Breaker, pay fucking attention.” Shaking my head, I realize I’ve been caught out when Whack chuckles.

“Sorry, Pres,” I quickly get myself together, and see that Pattie has left the office.

“So, what do you want?” Whack leans forward, elbows on the desk and giving me his attention.

Clearing my throat, I quickly ask. “Molly and I are getting married, and we want to do that here at the clubhouse, with all my brothers attending. Will you marry us?”

“About fucking time you asked me, and yeah I will. Any idea what they want to do with the clubhouse? I hope they are not wanting to put fucking flowers, bows and other shit all over the place.” Whack gives me such a disgusted look at the thought that I burst out laughing.

“Not that I know of, but I told her they had to discuss anything with you relating to the wedding and the way they want to decorate for it. Molly was happy to do that, so you’ll be getting a visit from the old ladies any day now I’m sure.”

Whack points at me. “Make sure she knows we wear our cuts, and not some monkey suit. If she insists on that shit she’ll be getting married to herself.”

Now I must have a look of horror on my face as Whack bursts out laughing. “I’ll deal with that, and fast,” I reply and jump up from my seat ready to leave the office, when Cannon walks in with Ghost behind him.

“Breaker, fetch Griller and Saddle,” Whack orders, and I quickly leave the office to find them. I don’t know what’s happening at the moment, so I can’t give them a heads-up. We three enter the office and take a stance on one side. Remaining quiet and listening to what is going on.

“You left your son because you had a mission to find sixteen girls who had been placed in a container and shipped out? Is that what you are telling me?” Whack asks in a shocked tone.

“Exactly. One of the girls is the daughter of a high-up member of the mafia. I’m not telling you who, what or where.

That is private and confidential information, and it stays that way.

But I followed that container until its end.

Then I had to find each of those girls and get them away from their situation, and back home where they could be safe, or into witness protection.

” Ghost folds his arms across his chest and looks grim.

“I saw more things than I could ever imagine, and I’ll never be able to get rid of the visions imprinted on my mind. ”

“Did you get all sixteen?” Cannon asks.

Shaking his head negatively. “No, I lost two. Both were dead by the time I got to them. But they were better dead than living where they were. I’m not telling you about what they suffered.

It is best left with them in the afterlife.

I got their bodies home, and I paid for one of them to be buried as her family couldn’t care less.

That family is no longer breathing.” Ghost is showing why he was man enough to do this.

“That is why you left Thorn to grow up on his own?” Griller asks. “But you knew that she fucked off with someone else?”

“I left provisions for Thorn. I left thousands with a friend to take him and look after him until I got back. He knew where I was going and why. Are you telling me the fucker didn’t do what I paid him to do?” Ghost rages.

“That’s exactly what we are telling you. Thorn dragged himself to the farm and got a job working the land. He has lived in the bunkhouse ever since . He is here with us, a working prospect, and he’s setting up a barber shop for the club with his friend Andy,” Whack fills him in.

Ghost’s face turns from pale where he’d lost all color as he realized what happened to Thorn, then to red, and scarlet when it is confirmed his friend took the money but didn’t do what he was paid to do.

“I’m gonna kill the fucker.” Now, Ghost says that in such a controlled manner I can see why he got his name.

I’ve heard the stories about his getting in and out without being seen.

I would feel sorry for this friend if it weren’t for the fact that he fucked Ghost over and allowed a young kid to work his ass off with nobody in his corner.

Ghost looks at Whack, and we all laugh when he asks. “Is my son into men?”

“Not likely,” I quickly add. “He was seeing a young woman, same as Andy, and both of those women were taken to the Cobras MC clubhouse where they became whores for the club.”

“Nothing wrong by the way with a man liking a man, but I would have been shocked I’ve got to admit.” Ghost grins to himself and whatever thought he has.

“Now that is out of the way what is it I can do for you?” Whack asks.

Ghost gives Whack a serious look. “I want to join the MC. I’ve been out on my own too long.

I was a nomad when appointed to this mission, and two years ago the support from the club stopped.

It was voted that I was taking too long to get it done, and they cut me off.

I told them to go fuck themselves, made sure the fuckers that voted against me had hardship, and threw my cut into their compound covered it in acid and walked away.

Oh, I forgot to say the Road Captain's daughter was one I rescued and never got a thanks for it. That woman walked away from her father and I helped her disappear with a new identity. It’s surprising what you find out about a rotten MC once you step far enough away to take a good look at them. ”

“It will have to be put to a vote. In the meantime, get this shit sorted with Thorn because I can’t take you into the brotherhood if you have a conflict going with Thorn.

Make him sit down and listen to your story.

He’s a good one, and he’s strong. He’ll be okay with it once he knows why.

He may even help you fuck up this asshole who didn’t do what he was paid to do, which makes him a thief, basically.

” Whack dismisses us all, and we walk out of the office.

“How the fuck am I going to get him to speak to me?” Ghost mumbles.

I slap his shoulder and state confidently. “Ghost, if you want any shit fixing you need to speak with Molly, Bri and Marcia. They can get anything done if you ask them.”

Everyone who hears my comment laughs and agrees. “We’ve all seen them get shit done, as well as get into shit they shouldn’t.”
