CHAPTER 35

*~* Molly *~*

Friday and I have the day free from work to get the clubhouse ready for the wedding tomorrow, and to sort out Ghost and Thorn. I’ve spoken to Bri and Marcia, and we think we need to step in and sort it because Thorn is being stubborn. Men!

Walking into Marcia and Bank’s room at the clubhouse, I give Marcia a hug first and then Bri. I just feel happy to see them this morning, you know, to show how much I care about them both. A smile and a hug cost nothing, but emotionally mean a lot to the person who is receiving them.

“What’s that look on your face, Bri?” I ask with a small smirk because I can bet my life she and Saddle are now back to being best buddies in their marriage.

Grinning, Bri shrugs, trying to be cool, I’m sure. “Well, I made it up with Saddle last night. He said he was sorry and that he agreed nobody should touch him but me.”

Marcia hands me a bottle of water, and as I take it I nearly drop it as Bri continues. “He also told me that Floss tried to touch Breaker, and Breaker said, and I quote, If you touch me, I’ll tell Molly.”

I look at Bri, then Marcia, and we all three burst out laughing at the fact a biker, a big and mean at times biker, threatens the club girl with his old lady. It’s freaking hilarious, but I’ll be warning her later.

“Are we waiting for Thorn to arrive?” I ask as I take a swallow of the strawberry-flavored water.

“Yeah, I told him it was urgent we spoke to him.” Bri laughs, “Honestly, men can be so easily led at times. We need to get this sorted out so we can get the decorating done. Whack said he has brothers at the ready to help, and he’s sent Breaker along with Saddle to do some recon so they are out of the way.

Saddle is under orders to bring Breaker back into town and right to your house so he sees nothing until morning. ”

“Come on, let’s get to church ready for this meeting. Whack said to use church so nobody will interrupt. How much do you bet Whack stays for the meeting?” I ask, getting ready to place a bet.

“I’m not betting because we all know he’s nosy and won’t be able to resist sticking his nose in.” Bri picks up her water and we head to church.

Stepping into church where we are normally not allowed, is an eye-opener because it is a lovely room.

There is a long table at the top of the room, and the club logo is burned into it.

Photographs on the wall are of brothers past. I don’t recognize any of them, and that is how I’ve come to that conclusion.

Along with the placard that says, ‘Gone but never forgotten.’

“Come on in. Take a seat.” Of course, Whack is here already.

I aim for the one at the front of the long table. It’s a bit like sitting in a proper church where the long table is the altar. Rows of chairs are where the brothers would all sit facing their president and the officers I’m sure.

I hold my hand up like in school and see Whack trying to contain his smile. “What?”

“Which seat is Breaker's?” I ask because I want to be able to imagine it later when he’s in a church meeting.

Whack rolls his eyes…who would have thought a club president would roll his eyes! But points to a seat three to his right.

Bri elbows me from where she’s sitting to my right. “What?” I snap, because that shit hurt.

“You said that out loud,” Bri grins.

I blink as I look at Whack, and he’s ready to laugh at my error, but I play it off and shrug, “Well, you wouldn’t, would you?”

The door, which was left ajar opens, and Thorn steps into the room. “Ah, here you are. Take a seat next to me.” Whack states firmly, and I goggle-eye at him, because really! We are sitting here as if we are in some sort of assembly, and he gets to sit at the front…

“Calm your tits, Molly. Only brothers can sit at this table. You all should never get into church and remember this is a concession I’ve made today.” Whack is giving me a look I’m not sure of.

Turning to Marcia, I mumble, “Calm my tits!” Marcia and Bri giggle, but I’m not laughing, and I’ll make sure I pay Whack back for that one. I scowl at him, and he scowls right back.

Ghost walks into church, and Whack tells him to take a seat with us. I give Ghost a look of ‘whatever’ as I lean over and pat his hand. He gives me a look of ‘calm yourself’ before he gives his attention to Whack.

“Okay, Thorn, we are here today so you can sort this shit out with your father once and for all. Stop being so fuckin’ stubborn.

He’s explained all that went on, and why.

I agree he should have checked you were okay and not relied on this so-called friend.

But what’s done is done. You both need to pay the asshole a visit, and if he’s spent the bread, then you take it out of his ass.

” Whack has his elbows on the table, and he’s laid it out without us saying anything.

“Why are we here?” I ask Bri before turning to look at Marcia.

“Well, at this moment I’m not sure,” Bri replies, and we all look at Ghost who is chuckling.

Thorn gives me a serious look. “You organized this didn’t you, Molly?”

Swallowing hard because the look isn’t one I’ve seen on his face before, and I’m not sure I like it.

“Yes, along with Bri and Marcia. We don’t want you hurting anymore, Thorn.

You could have your father in your life from this point.

Don’t miss out on that because of the past. He didn’t do everything right I agree, but his intentions were good, and Whack is right, you both need to see this asshole who has stolen the money and thrown you to the wolves.

” Now I get more excited as I’m speaking, and Thorn knows me well enough now to know something is coming.

“How about I come too? I can shoot his ass, you know I can…”

“NO, Molly, stand down!” Whack shouts, and I blink, realizing I’ve gone off on one again.

Bri and Marcia are giggling, and Ghost has a hand over his mouth to stop anyone seeing him laugh.

But his chest is shaking, so it’s a bit of a lost cause trying to hide the fact.

Whack’s eyes are sparkling, and Thorn looks shocked.

“Sorry,” I lamely state, right before folding my arms and leaning back in my seat.

“I’ll speak with Ghost. I’m okay with trying a relationship with my father, Molly.

It will take some time, but I think we’ll be okay.

The fact that you care so much, along with Bri and Marcia means such a lot to me, so don’t think I don’t appreciate what you all have done.

” Thorn looks at his father, then continues.

“Let’s spend some time together. Clear the air and go meet your friend. ”

Ghost quickly agrees, and Whack looks at me still with humor in his tone. “Off you go, and start with this decorating shit. I have brothers standing at the ready. Vortex said that anything you need cut he’s all yours.”

“We’re being dismissed, Molly. You know we organized all this and now we are being dismissed…” Bri grumbles as we walk out of church. Don’t think we miss the fact Whack is laughing at Bri’s comments either.

We spend the afternoon hanging ribbons, Sam heads from Trick ‘r Treat in black and in cream. They are being used between the black and cream ribbons we are placing around the ceiling of the clubhouse. We have black and cream roses scattered around in vases with skulls on them. It’s more like Halloween than a wedding, but I never said I was the soft and fluffy kind of person.

Outside in the compound, Hellion is finishing an archway where we will stand together, and I’m sure Whack is going to look good on the other side of it while acting as officiant.

If I’m honest he has been great throughout all this, and I mean from my being brought here after the kidnapping to now.

I will always have his back no matter what or why.

He has more than earned my loyalty and respect.

Vortex has been true to his word and has cut all the ribbon to length, cut the flowers so they sit in the vases as I want them to.

He even showed me how to spin a knife in my hand, all the while whispering to me it would scare the fuck out of the club girls.

I looked up at him with a devilish glint in my eye as I twirled his knife gleefully.

Clubhouse is ready. Black and cream ribbons, bows, skulls, vases, flowers and a black carpet leading outside to the archway where I’ll get married to Breaker.

This, to me is perfect. None of the frilly, fancy stuff you see at weddings.

I wanted my wedding to be different, and it sure is different; no one can argue that.

The evening passed quickly, and getting the call from Cannon saying they had Breaker, and I wouldn’t see him until tomorrow when we got married had me wondering what they were doing with him.

But Cannon quickly put my mind at rest that he was at Saddle’s house and having a few beers, chilling out. Nothing for me to worry about.

Bri and Marcia arrive early the next morning.

We eat a small breakfast before getting ready for the wedding.

I took a shower and put on new, delicate, lace lingerie.

The strapless bra, thankfully, sits well.

I was worried because the last strapless one I had kept slipping down and the girls nearly falling out.

My hair we dried and pulled the top half back, fastening that with a clip that had a black rose.

It sits nicely at the back of my head while the bottom half of my hair stays loose.

We curled it slightly, so it had some waves as it lay down my back.

We pulled a few wispy bits out at the sides of my temple to keep a softness around my face.

Standing in my black and white dress, black shoes with a posy of black and white roses with baby’s breath surrounding the roses, I can’t help but think about how far I’ve come from being kidnapped to being married.

An hour later, I’m standing next to Vortex, who is walking me down the aisle, well the black carpet, to Breaker.

Who would have thought he would threaten anyone to take his place, even getting his blade out and pointing it at Cannon when he suggested he should walk me to Breaker.

Me? I kept quiet and let them argue it out.

I don’t care as long as I get to Breaker.

Walking toward Breaker, I can’t say how handsome he looks to me. He’s in black pants, a white shirt and of course, wearing his cut. His hair is styled as always with fresh marks on each side of his skull. Yeah, he’s been to Andy's for a haircut.

Vortex hands me over to Breaker, and as he does he mumbles, “You fuck this up and I’ll fuck you up.”

“Yeah, of course you will.” Breaker replies quietly, but they stare each other down for a moment. I flick my eyes to Whack who does that eye roll again, which has me giggling.

“Dear brothers, Bri, and Marcia.” Whack looks around, and he ignores the fact that the club girls are standing at the back near the clubhouse wall. “We are gathered here to marry Molly to the asshole, Breaker.”

I giggle again, because yeah, I thought it would be as unusual as the decorations, but I didn’t imagine this.

“Molly Brookes do you take Wyatt Alexander as your husband until you die?” Whack asks, and I am surprised because usually the man would be asked first, I think?

“I do,” I quickly reply, giving Breaker a huge smile.

Now, Breaker is frowning at Whack presumably because the service is so bad, and I keep giggling quietly to myself because this is just hilarious if I’m being honest.

“Wyatt Alexander, known as Breaker, do you take Molly Brookes to be your wife until you die? Leaving out all the club girls and any other pussy that is placed before you?” Whack scowls at Breaker, and I hear Bri and Marcia laughing behind us.

Honestly, this is the weirdest wedding I’ve attended, and it just had to be mine.

“I do,” Breaker responds but gives Whack a nasty look at the same time.

“Okay, I call you married. Now let’s have a drink.” Whack throws his bible or whatever it is onto the table behind him and walks away, leaving Breaker and me staring at each other. “Oh, you can kiss her now, Breaker,” Whack shouts as he disappears into the clubhouse.

“Christ, Molly, that was one fuckup of a wedding,” Breaker smiles with that half a mouth smile thing they do at times.

“Yeah, but it’ll be something to tell our grandkids won’t it?” I laugh.

Breaker doesn’t bother replying to that. He bends down as he takes my face into the palm of his hands, and he kisses me long and deep. A kiss of promise, future and love.

I whisper for the first time the words that I never knew I’d say. “I love you, Wyatt Alexander, known as Breaker.”

“I know,” the asshole replies, but softens it when he continues. “Love you too, babe.”
