CHAPTER 36

*~* Breaker *~*

The wedding was a blast…that is the only way to describe it.

The decorations were awesome. They were black and cream like Halloween rather than a wedding.

Shit, Molly looked fantastic in that black and white dress.

None of that fancy frilly stuff for my babe.

She went all out with skulls, black roses and even a black carpet.

I can’t help but love this woman, she is my other half in more ways than one.

I still can’t help but laugh at the fact we had to put our rings on after the officiant, yeah, Whack had said kiss and fucked off. Man, there’ll never be another wedding like ours.

We have had three days at home, having more ‘loving’ than some would have in a year.

My babe can love! The clubhouse, I hope has been stripped of all the wedding stuff so we don’t have to do it.

Not sure I want to climb around taking ribbons down.

Vortex slapped me on the back as we were leaving and told me if I fuck up, he’ll fuck me up even more.

That tells me how much my brother loves Molly.

She’s one of us and has fit in with the club without even trying.

Well, it’s back to normal today. I’m heading to the clubhouse and Molly is back at work, relieving Marie who is Jamie’s administrator. I’m sure there is more to that than meets the eye because Molly is doing all the admin, so how come Marie is needed?

Fury is stomping around the clubhouse like a crazy man when I arrive, and after speaking with Cannon and finding I have no immediate duties, I head to the kitchen where I get myself a drink. Watching Fury, I call him over to where I take a seat in the rec room.

“Fury, what’s going on with you?”

Fury looks at me for more than a minute before deciding to speak. “I’m worried about Jamie. She never goes off like this.”

“Have you ever wondered that you have hurt her with fucking the club girls?” I ask, taking a sip of my coffee.

“Jamie and I have an agreement. We are friends with benefits.”

Laughing quietly, I turn and look at him like he’s a fool. “Is that how you see Jamie. A friend you can fuck, for how long? Months? A year? More? But still think you are just friends? Fury, are you a fucking idiot?”

“We agreed that’s what we would be. We said nothing about only being with each other. If she’s caught feelings, then that is her problem not mine.” Fury stands abruptly.

“Yeah, they are her problem. But not for much longer. She has gone to clear her mind and heart, and when she comes back, it’ll be a different Jamie to what we all knew before. That will be on you.” I pick up my mug and walk into the kitchen before I beat the fuck out of Fury.

Cannon calls my name, and I follow out of the kitchen where I’ve just placed my mug in the dishwasher. Entering Whack’s office, I take a seat along with Griller, Cannon, and Bull.

“Ghost has gone with Thorn to watch what is happening with Haroldson and his son,” Whack starts to inform, but Cannon laughs, gaining our attention.

“Shut it, Cannon. Now, I have spoken with Ghost and Thorn, and they have come to an easy truce in their relationship. To push that, I have given them both orders to get this mission done. While doing that mission, Ghost is training Thorn to be his second. We’ll have another mini-Ghost if we are lucky.

” Whack smirks, and we can all tell he thinks he’s gotten himself something with this move.

“They are both wearing trackers, so I know where they are at all times. If anything happens, we can get to them fast, but Riddle is already in proximity. I’ve an alert set, and if the trackers stop working even for a moment an alarm will tell me,” Bull informs us.

“That’s goin’ to be fun. They have only just started speaking, and I can imagine Thorn still has some resentment towards his father,” I add to the conversation.

“One of the reasons being in close proximity will make them hash it out. They are on club business, which makes them behave better than if they were just out doing nothing. They get into something they’ll answer to me,” Whack snarls the last part, and I know he is not bluffing.

“They’ll touch base every night. That is the rule we set, and if I don’t hear from them within half-an-hour of that check-in time I’ll alert everyone,” Bull leans forward as he picks up his laptop.

“Oh, I nearly forgot. We have permission to open a pet crematorium. I have a long list of rules and regulations, but we can jump through these hoops. I was thinking if we have it on the safe house property, it’ll be out of the way, easy to get rid of the ashes if we need to.

Plus, whoever works on the business can stay at the house. ”

“We’ll discuss this in church. In the meantime,” Whack takes a large intake of breath.

“Get Bank and Pens onto the financial and legal side of the crematorium. Cannon, send Zion, Prophet and Winger over to the safe house. Check out the property and see how much work will need to be done. We’ll discuss this in church. ”

We all walk out of Whack’s office and do our duty. I follow Cannon to speak with the brothers, and I may have a ride out with them since Whack doesn’t have a job for me right now.

Molly, however, has other ideas! A phone call that includes a picture of Molly in some delectable lingerie shows up as an image. My eyes widen and my nose flares at the sight. Fuck me…!

“What you got?” Cannon asks, trying to look over my shoulder. Now, I deleted that shit fast because nobody looks at my babe like that. This is for my eyes only.

I quickly type a message. ‘Get ready because I’m on my way, babe.’

Chuckling to myself as I realize that we have gone from hostages to married in hardly any time at all, I couldn’t be happier than I am right now. Babe! Yeah, she is and always will be my babe!

Running into the house, I sprint up the stairs to our bedroom, ripping my cut off, and throwing it onto the easy chair near the window. Molly is lying on the bed looking like the best kind of gift I could ever have.

Alas, it isn’t to last when the front door slams open, and I swear I won’t make that mistake again when we both hear someone shout, “Jamie has been run off the road!”
