Chapter 10 #3

As I round the corner, I make it just in time to see Atlas bring the axe over his shoulder, and with one of the sexy growlish grunts, he swings it, hitting the creep with the black hair right in the head.

A sick crack rings out around us as the axe embeds itself into the man's skull.

“Holy fuck,” I breathe out, a rush of arousal flooding my system, making me a little dizzy. “That was so fucking hot.”

Atlas’ feral eyes flick my way, chest heaving.

“If we weren’t in a time crunch, I’d totally be climbing you like a tree right now,” I groan, walking toward him.

Atlas yanks the axe, pulling it from the man’s skull, his body dropping to the ground.

“You think he’s dead?” I ask, kicking at his lifeless body.

“Yes, Little Rose,” he chuckles. “He’s dead.”

“Nice,” I nod, watching as blood spills from his head. “Have you ever thought about torture? I normally just get the job done but I think if we keep doing this thing together, it would make for great foreplay.”

“Fuck me, Little Omega,” he groans. “Don’t make me hard right now, not when I have to carry his heavy ass into the back of my truck.”

“Sorry, not sorry,” I grin. “So, how did you get him?”

“Well, this fucker thought it would be fun to drag some poor girl out back against her will and try to take advantage of her. Lucky for her, I was here. He saw me, let the girl go and she took off. Then he remembered me from the club, got mouthy and well, you saw the rest.”

“It’s like a sign from the gods we were meant to help him meet his maker,” I grin. “I love it when a plan falls into place.”

Taking the axe from Atlas, I toss it into the back of his truck where he already has it lined with plastic.

As he loads the fucker into the back, I grab the bottle of bleach and pour it over the blood on the ground.

No one is going to come looking for this man anyway, at least no one from around here. People go missing all the time in these mountains. And if they do have people who would come looking for them, they won’t get any answers.

“Ready?” Atlas asks, closing the tailgate of his truck.

“Yup.” I toss the empty bottle into the garbage.

Getting back into the truck, we take off back towards Widows Peak.

There’s this perfect plot of land that's away from everything. You have to go behind my house to get to it, so no one goes there. It’s also where I plan on building a cabin.

Lexi made one for her omega, Emmett, on the other side of the mountain and I think this place would be perfect for one.

But for now, it’ll be my dumping ground.

Well, our dumping ground.

“Once we get rid of him, we can go back to the motel and deal with his friend.”

“Yay, more murdering!” I grin. “Can I kill him? I wanna show you my knife skills.”

“Little Rose, I think you showed me what you were capable of when you made that man choke on his own dick.”

“You haven’t seen the half of it,” I shrug.

“Yes, baby, you can kill his friend.”

“Thank you.” I blow him a kiss.

The ride is a little bumpy, but we get up there easily.

“Shit. I didn’t even think about pre-digging a grave. You know, we have the space for it. What do you think about a pig farm?”

“Oh.” My eyes light up. “Didn’t even think about that. That's a possibility. Let’s look into that.”

We park the truck in a little clearing, but the place we’re burying the bodies is hidden in the tree line.

The land has potential, I didn’t want to end up building something over dead bodies. I’m not looking to get haunted, thank you very much.

“You need any help?” I ask as Atlas throws the man over his shoulder.

“Nope. I got it. Lead the way, Little Rose.” He tosses me a shovel.

“I love getting dirty,” I laugh as we walk into the trees.

It’s a bit of a walk to where we need to go and I hate that we can’t drive here. Carrying bodies isn’t easy. I’m going to look into getting an ATV for up here or something. Tie them to the back.

Just as we’re approaching the hill we need to climb over to get to our dumping ground on the other side, I hear something.

“Fuck he’s heavy,” a woman's voice gasps.

“Down, boy.” Someone makes a barking sound before laughter breaks out joined by a maniac giggle.

“We need to think of a better way to get his friend up here,” a male voice says.

My lips part as I look up at Atlas.

“Jude, can you get his arms for me?”

“Jude?” Atlas’ eyes widen.

No. It can’t be. Not our Jude, right?

Atlas nods his head towards the sound, telling me to follow him.

With a thundering heart, we head closer to the hill. That's when I notice two people walking up it.

Grabbing my flashlight from my pocket, I hold it up to Atlas. He nods, letting me know to use it and see just who our little friends are.

Lifting it, I turn it on. It’s bright, illuminating the space around us.

Two sets of eyes swing our way. Holy mother of god, it is Jude. And Willow.

And… is that a dead body on the ground?

“Well.” Atlas lets out a low heady chuckle, letting the guy on his shoulder hit the ground with a thud. “It looks like we’re having that conversation sooner than we thought.”
