“Why did you fucking punch me?” I ask my father as I put a cold pack against the side of my face. I know my eye is swollen and my face hurts.
“I taught you better than that,” he replies, and I look around the room at my men before returning my attention to him.
“Misty played me. I didn’t know it was her,” I tell him, and he shakes his head. I need to make this right. I need to explain myself. Chandra had left about three hours ago. I don’t even know where to look for her.
“I had Fury look for an address on her,” he explains, handing me a folded piece of paper. I nod, throwing the ice pack on the table before heading out. I won’t let some nasty whore ruin my chance with the woman who has stolen my heart.

I open my apartment door and step inside before shutting the door behind me.
Turning on the light I walk through my living room and into the kitchen.
It’s been awhile since I’ve been here and the food is probably bad.
I grab a glass from the cupboard and fill it with water from my refrigerator.
As I turn back towards the living room, I see Chance leaning against the wall in the hallway.
“Get out of my apartment or I’m calling the police,” I tell him, and he heads towards me. I turn to run, but I’m blocked by a man in all black with a mask over his face. A rag is put over my nose and mouth then my vision blurs. I’m lifted over the man’s shoulder, all I see is darkness.

I step up to her door, seeing its open, and pull my gun.
With my hand on the trigger, I step into her apartment.
There is nothing out of place, but her bag is on the floor next to the shoes she was wearing.
Slowly moving through the rooms, looking for any trace of her.
Something isn’t right here, and I need to get my man Venom on it.
“She’s not here and something is not right. I need you to search for cameras around her building. Meeting when I get back!” I growl into the phone, then hang up. I will find out what happened here. If someone took her, they will pay with their lives.
