My eyes flutter open, and I look around at my surrounding. A small room with just a bed, small table and lamp. Not even a single window to look out of.

“Glad you came to,” I hear and look over at Chance who is sitting in a chair near the door. A smug smile on his face says he’s enjoying this. How could I have not seen the signs before?

“Let me go,” I demand, and his smirk turns into a smile, it’s evil looking and makes my stomach turn. I sit up slowly with my back to the wall.

“No one is coming for you, so being rescued is not happening ” he states, and my stomach turns, I feel like I’m going to get sick. Surely Buzz knows I’m missing.

“What do you mean?” I ask as the door opens and I see that fucking bitch come through it. The whore that Buzz slept with. Tears well up in my eyes falling down my face as she sets a tray with food on it in front of me.

“Misty here is one of our best girls. Good at getting men to be with her,” Chance says, and I look up at Misty. She was a plant, and the club fell for it. We fell for it.

“Why?” I whisper as tears keep falling. I wish I was back at the clubhouse with Buzz and his family. How he didn’t know she wasn’t me is a question that needs answering.

“To get you back,” he spits, and I cringe.

I really do know how to pick them. I was na?ve and wanted to rebel against people who said I was too ugly to catch a good-looking man.

I am the outcast and not very well liked.

I have trouble making friends, and I was lonely.

So I approached him not knowing he was dangerous.

“Why? I was no threat to you,” I state, and he laughs.

My heart shatters thinking I’m going to be here forever.

That no one will come for me. Buzz cheated even after he told me he wouldn’t, me being na?ve believed him.

I thought he was different and trusted him, but no more.

I’m done with dating and will go back to my non existent life.

“You could be an asset like Misty. Drugging and seducing men. More money that way,” he replies, and I look over at Misty.

She smiles and I clench my fists. If I wasn’t Bound, I would tear her fucking eyes out.

She drugged him to tear us apart. He plans to use me as a seductress to make money for him.

Like a pimp, but worse. It’s against my will as opposed to being a prostitute.

Human trafficking has been a problem here for a while, but has dwindled some because of the Cajun Gypsies MC.

They’ve rescued a lot of women and taken down some of the rings, but not all.

They keep popping up. The door opens, and Misty exits the room.

“Eat and get rest. You’ll need energy,” Chance mutters before he too leaves the room. Fresh tears roll down my face and I curl up into a ball, letting my mind take me to a place where I’m safe and not about to be used in the most unimaginable way .
