7. Mattea #2
“You know this shit ain’t no act. Whatever you fuck up, you pay for it to be replaced.
” I walked away to head to my kitchen. My mouth was back dry from the BC powder substance I took.
My headache was gone that fast and now I needed something to drink.
I poured myself a cup of apple juice and heard nothing but walls being bumped into and picture frames falling from my walls.
I leaned on the wall and watched Justice and Solace fight.
Solace had hands on him, but Justice’s arms were longer, so his reach was more crucial.
He sent an uppercut to Solace’s chin that dazed him and made him fall right into my coffee table.
Justice would be kept in rotation; he wasn’t just a punk-ass square nigga like I thought he was.
After seeing my coffee table shatter, my sister walked through the front door looking like she had been out all night turning tricks.
“Mattea why the fuck these fine ass niggas in here trying to kill themselves?” She laughed and pulled her phone out and went live on Instagram.
She was mediating the fight and telling her viewers how good pussy had nigga’s acting a fool.
I walked away and grabbed my gun I had enough entertainment for the day.
When I made it back in the living room Kachella looked at me then down at the gun I had in my hand.
I nodded towards my room door, and she smacked her lips but listened to silent demand and walked her fast ass to the back.
Stepping over the glass that was shattered on my floor I aimed the gun at them and gave a warning.
“If y’all don’t get y’all shit and get the fuck out of my house, I’ll be sending you both were hell be.” I sneered and put my gun between their faces to get their attention.
“I meant what I said, now break this shit up and get the fuck out.” Justice’s eyes got big, and he hurried up and stepped away with his hands up. Solace was still heated, and he pulled his own pistol.
If he doesn’t use that muthafucca, you better kill him!
“I will kill him if he doesn’t lower that fuckin’ gun.” I said out loud to myself and didn’t give a fuck how crazy I looked. I saw Justice making his way out the door from my peripheral. I wouldn’t dare take my eyes off Solace, who had a gun pointed to my face.
“So, this how you want to do things? You come to my house and disrespect me?” He lowered his gun, but I kept mine pointed.
“Get the fuck out of my house and don’t come back here.
Please don’t make me have to pop up thirty-one, twenty-four, south second avenue.
I know for a fact your wife would hate to know all about me.
” I smiled at him and raised my eyebrows knowingly.
He frowned and said nothing as he made his way to the door.
“Oh, and Solace,” he stood still with his back to me.
“The next time you pull a gun out on me, I will kill you.” I didn’t watch him walk away because I gave my ass to kiss.
I looked at the mess these niggas made and got slightly pissed.
I wasn’t cleaning any of this shit. I planned on calling my maid service and tipping them well to make sure every piece of glass was picked up and the broken frames and furniture was thrown out.
I sparked up another cigarette and called them, my sister came back to the living room and smiled at me.
“You better stop playing games with these niggas. They was ready to kill each other.” I said nothing as I told the lady on the other line what time to arrive to my house and hung up the phone.
Looking at my sister for a couple of seconds, something was definitely different about her.
She was always on the slim-thick side but now it seemed like she was becoming skinny as hell.
“What were you doing out all night?” I asked, ashing my cigarette in the ashtray and taking another hit.
“I worked graveyard and then went to hang out with my boyfriend.” She shifted in the small love seat.
She was lying her ass off and I found it interesting.
Kachella might’ve lied to our dad but to me she always told the truth.
What was she really into? I felt some type of way, but I wasn’t going to press her about the shit.
She was growing into a grown woman, no longer a kid.
She had to experience life and its trials.
“Well get your things, you’re going back home today.” That was my father’s job to worry and deal with Kachella. I wasn’t about to start babysitting my sister and running after her.
“That’s fine with me but I don’t plan on going back to live over there. I got enough money saved to move into my own place now.” She boasted proudly.
“So, you came up with the money to move that fast? Chella…if you into some bullshit and I find out, I’m beating your ass myself.
If whatever new nigga you fuckin’ with got you turning tricks and looking stupid, you better pray I get to him before daddy do.
” I warned. Kachella didn’t have what it took to sell drugs or even do what it was I was into.
So, either she found a balling ass nigga to support her spoiled ass, or she was out here hoeing.
“You think that low of me?” she asked getting upset. Shaking my head, no I ignored my ringing phone to cater to her feelings.
“Kachella, I know you very well. You changing baby. I don’t know if it’s for the better or worse, but I won’t judge you.
I will always be there for you and have your back.
I just want you to be smarter with your decision-making.
” I reasoned because I knew that feeling of trying to find yourself.
The transition into becoming a grown woman could be rocky as hell.
Kachella didn’t have to do it alone. She was going to make mistakes it was just stupid mistakes that could have been avoided is what she didn’t have the time for.
“I know Tea, I don’t know why I do certain shit. It’s not to spite my family at all, I’m just having fun.”
“Don’t move in with no nigga. Always remember what I done told you about these niggas.
They come a dime a dozen, its plenty of them to choose from.
Know yo’ worth and triple that shit. If you go shack up and let the next nigga other than daddy take care of you…
you give him the power to control and change you.
You too young for that shit.” I looked her in the eyes without even blinking.
“I hear you. Tre is cool and all but I’m not about to live with him. I wanted to stay here with you until I found me a spot.” She tried to slide that in, but I wasn’t having it.
“You can’t be here with me Chella, I’m into some dangerous shit.
I don’t want you here and some shit pops off and I have it on my conscious that something happened to my little sister.
” I wasn’t willing to open up about the shit I was into, but I had to give her a reason why and lying wasn’t my thing.
“What about you? Are you in danger? You know our daddy will protect you, just come back home,” she pleaded. I knew that my siblings had missed me. I would try to do better and spend more time with them. Moving back home was out of question.
“I’m not in danger, I just got my own shit going just like you do. Maybe if you open up to me and tell me what you really out here doing, I’ll tell you a little about what I’m up to.”
“I’m not up to nothing, just working making an honest living.” She shot her eyes down to the carpet and shifted again in her seat.
“Well same here with me. Don’t worry about what I’m doing just know your ass can’t live here.” I laughed a little and she joined in.
“Whatever, you just don’t want me fucking up yo’ hoe action. Got fine ass niggas fighting over you and you still claim you a virgin.” She stood up and started walking to the kitchen.
“Think whatever you must. My business is just that, mine.”
I stood up and stretched then headed to my bedroom to shower and get ready for the day. I was just happy to be able to finally go see my family and come home and rest on my downtime.
