13. Ream

Chapter Thirteen

REAM

I needed to get some pussy while I was out here asap.

Reaper had my head fucked up, for the first time ever she had me speechless and I didn’t like that shit one bit.

I had to flip the script on her the more I toyed with her pussy the more I wanted it.

I decided to back the fuck off and go play in some for certain pussy.

Fucking around with Reaper was bad for my health in many ways.

I started thinking too deep on how things would be if I really did get the pussy.

I couldn’t be a contradicting nigga, taking her virginity and placing claims on her when I wasn’t sure if I wanted her doing the same for me.

Our attraction was strong, it was hard for me not to fuck with her when I was around her.

Her slick ass mouth created a moth to a flame situation for the both of us.

Knowing a lot about her background piqued my interest. It wouldn’t take money and expensive ass trips like this one to get her.

She was used to being spoiled and already having nice ass things.

Capturing a woman like Reaper, would mean putting in grown man work.

A lot of proving and securing. Knowing her trigger points and learning how to deal with her mental issues.

Looking in her eyes, I could see the battle she had going on with herself.

It had to be torture for a person to mentally battle themselves while still holding a strong facade like everything was straight with them to others.

For the first time ever outside of my family I pictured myself nurturing and trying to be there for her.

I just didn’t want to disappoint or even hurt her because I had no clue what to do when it came to love and relationships.

So, until I figured that shit out, I would give her the space she needed.

I couldn’t deny how I was starting to feel when it came to her though.

The day before yesterday she crossed my mind, and I called Crystal to ask her questions about Catatonic schizophrenia.

She was clueless about it, I thought she should know since she was back enrolled in school for nursing.

I Googled shit and found out that it was a rare case of schizophrenia.

On my private jet, I didn’t bother her at all.

I just observed her, every now and then she would mumble shit to herself like she was having a full-length conversation with just herself.

I acted like I didn’t notice it because I didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable.

She kept the conversation short, her responses short, and she didn’t show an ounce of interest when we drove over to our hotel.

She took her room key, asked when I expected her for the meeting, and then disappeared.

I couldn’t let it slide so I popped in on her only to leave with a hard dick.

Solo was out doing his own thing, we had plans of meeting up later in the night to go over the meeting details and the big drop.

A lot of money was involved, and I liked to be thorough when it came to any transaction.

Hector was a business partner that I secured out here.

I wanted to keep things going well because it meant securing a hefty bag from him each time.

Deciding to call my mom to kill some time, I observed Reaper walking out onto the sand from my balcony.

Losing my train of thought, her body looked sexy as fuck.

She had on a yellow two-piece swimsuit with a sheer-looking scarf that wrapped around her waist. Her breasts looked like they wanted to spill out from the top being so skimpy.

I tried to divert my focus but couldn’t, as my eyes traveled up her long thick thighs. She had oiled herself down good and her hair blew wild in the wind.

“Helllllooo!” My mom yelled into the phone snapping me from my thoughts and the short fantasy that I had in my head about Reaper.

I wanted to trek across the sand and lay her ass down while I devoured her.

I never had a tall, thick ass woman like Reaper.

I loved how long and thick her legs looked and they felt super soft.

“Nigga, I got shit to do! I ain’t got time to listen to your ass breathe all hard! What the fuck is going on Christian?” My mom snapped as I smiled missing her feisty ass.

“Nothing, just calling to see how you were doing.” I smiled, imagining her rolling those eyes. My phone made a beeping sound, and it was her facetiming me. I accepted while I watched Reaper go deep into the water.

“What the fuck got your attention so tough.” My mom’s face was close to the screen. She was squinting her eyes trying to look and see my background. My mother was beautiful and lethal all in one. Her ocean blue eyes stared hard at me as I smiled into the camera.

“I can’t even lie, Ma, I found a woman that’s more complicated than you.” I chuckled and watched her brows rise.

“Ain’t no place for love in the dynasty, love changed my outlook on all the power I had at my fingertips.

Love got me sitting here bored as hell. I can’t be in your sister business to tough cause she off in college.

You barely call me, and your father is hounding me for another damn baby.

How the fuck he want a baby when he claim to still have my grown ass on punishment. ” I allowed her to vent.

“You regretting being in love Ma.” I played around with her.

I knew without a doubt she loved my father with everything in her.

She was very hard-headed, so she stayed in trouble.

My father had to keep her on a straight path, if he didn’t, she would love to be standing right next to me with a fully loaded gun.

I remember back when I was sixteen, they split for three months, and it was nothing short of hell.

I never saw or heard of my mom crying but when my father moved out and left her because one of her old colleagues needed her help with something it damn near broke her.

Every now and then when some shit outside of the dynasty popped off my mom would be tiptoeing around having a hand in it.

She loved getting her hands dirty and feeling like she was back running some shit.

“Never regretting shit, your father just sometimes forget that he is my husband and not my father.”

“He is the leader, you’re just following. Remember that and things would be smoother. What you do this time to be sleeping in the doghouse?” I chuckled.

“When Cream met me, I was the leader, and he was following me!” She gritted, hating to appear weak.

“Then he broke your ass down to reality and showed you who was really leading right? Now tell me, what did you do?” I asked again, my mom had a way of talking around a certain subject she didn’t want to speak on.

“I shot the new bodyguard, he had to pay the nigga five hundred thousand to keep quiet and chose another post other than guarding me. He got all worked up because I told him it would’ve been easier just to kill the nigga and everything attached to him.” She shrugged like it was nothing.

“Ma, this the third bodyguard you done shot, the first one you accidentally killed. What was so bad that you felt the need to shoot this one?” I shook my head because it was probably stupid as hell.

The last white bodyguard she had got shot because he told her happy black history month.

My mom twisted mind thought he was being funny.

The next day he brought her some watermelon from his mother’s garden.

For lunch, he offered to take her to her favorite fried chicken spot, and she lost it claiming he was racist as hell.

She shot him and left him in the front yard to bleed out.

My father tried his best to help him pull through, paid top dollar for his hospital bills, and came up with a good, fabricated lie.

When he died my mother saw her actions as justified.

The truth was she didn’t like any of the bodyguards she had. They always reported back to my father every, single, thing she did.

“That motherfucker dropped hand sanitizer on the new six-thousand-dollar Oscar De La Renta dress I just bought before my meeting with my real estate agent and had the nerve to touch my damn breasts to wipe it off.” Her beautiful face balled up like it was angering her to talk about it again. She saw no wrong in what she did.

“You can’t live like that no more Ma. You have them men so nervous, his hands were probably shaking.

You ask for hand sanitizer a thousand times a day, they’re your guards not your maids.

” I reminded her as I observed Reaper come out of the water and smile at some guy that had all of a sudden appeared right next to her.

They were discussing something but all I saw was how the water glistened and dripped down her sexy ass body.

I gripped the phone tight and watched hard, debating if I wanted to go over there and intervene.

Nah, I couldn’t do that, that was a sign of jealousy.

It wasn’t my place to step in on whatever her and the stranger had going.

“With what I pay, they are whatever I need them to be.” Shaking my head, I took my eyes off Reaper to focus back on the conversation with my mom.

“You gotta stop doing that type of shit Ma. At some point enough is enough, you don’t have any valid excuses.” She got quiet and put a blunt to her lips and lit it.

“I hear you son. Listen, I know you don’t want to hear this, but you know I’m not into candy-coating shit.

Your grandfather’s cancer has progressed, shit is in his bones now.

” Her eyes misted over as she cleared her throat and took another hit of her blunt.

My mom hardly ever showed emotion on her face.

I had a sick feeling that started to form at the bottom of my stomach.

My mouth got dry as I remained silent for a couple of seconds.

I knew what she was trying to say but my brain didn’t want to accept it.

“So, what does that mean? We are rich as fuck, filthy rich. Pops is going to be fine.” I shrugged off trying to convince myself more than my mother.

“Money cannot buy his life baby. Pops is dying and each day becomes harder for him to accept it himself. He has declined hospice and the medications they have offered to make his departure a painless one. He forgets a lot and smokes a lot of weed now saying that it will heal him. The doctor said he has less than a month, two if he is lucky.” I watched tears fall down my mother’s cheeks and cleared my throat of the painful lump that started to form.

My grandfather was one of my biggest mentors as he was to my father.

He was a strong and fearless man. He kept our family ticking and when my father couldn’t get my mother in check you better believe Maphael Powers could.

He created the strong foundation of what we were now.

“We have to force him to eat, get him on them medications. The doctors never have the last say. Money talk bullshit walks, you know that Ma.” She shook her head no and wiped her tears.

“We can’t force him to stay Christian, he is already suffering enough.

He still won’t talk to Lilian and even she has been over here at the house every day helping with taking care of him and watching over him.

” That said a lot for my grandmother because her and my mother’s relationship wasn’t too good.

They smoothed out most of their issues but still had lots of disagreements.

My grandfather never divorced Lilian after she broke his heart by cheating on one of his old friends who turned into an enemy.

My mother hardly ever referred to her as a mom, she always called her by her first name.

I tried to respect her, but the lady was hard to get along with, before I knew it, I had started to refer to her as Lilian too.

“I’ll be there as soon as I wrap business up out here in the Republic.

” I sadly said my goodbyes and sat on the balcony looking at nothing in particular.

If my grandfather died my family would break.

I didn’t know what to expect from my mother because she had fucked up ways of coping with bad things that happened to her.

I would have to put Solo and Solace in charge of a lot to sort and deal with my family issues, I just hoped they both were ready.

I couldn’t really depend on Solace as much, something about him hasn’t been settling well with me.

In the back of my mind, I knew Solace truly wanted to be the head nigga in charge.

He would never fill my shoes unless I gave him the go for that.

I just couldn’t trust him enough; his judgment was off when it came to a lot of things.

Solo on the other hand was as thorough as they came, he lived and breathed the streets before I even put him on.

He could make decisions without thinking twice and all those decisions were for the best.

More thoughts of my grandfather came to the forefront of my mind.

I had to prepare for the worse. I scanned the beach and looked for Reaper, she was nowhere in sight.

I must’ve been so caught up in my thoughts that I didn’t see her walking away.

Tonight, I planned on getting drunk and turning up with Solo.

At the end of the night, I wanted two bad bitches in my bed on some freak nasty shit.

Life was truly what you made it. We all were in control of our own shit with the choices we made.

The only thing we couldn’t be in control of was death, when it was ready for you it came.

It didn’t give a fuck about the people you left behind, what you did, or how much money you had.

Death didn’t even give a fuck about all the power you possessed or if you had another goal to achieve. When it was ready for you, it came.

I looked at life as if it had different realms, like we had to go through human form before we even made it to the next level of living.

I felt like it was more to see after living on earth.

If I had it my way, I would want to die at the same time of everyone I loved.

That way, we didn’t have to miss each other or be consumed with so much sorrow.

We could just all hold hands and make it to that next realm together. Wishful thinking.
