12. Pluto Mensah #4

My second orgasm started building fast, deep in my stomach, and I held him tighter because I needed something to hold on to. He knew it too. He shifted his hips just enough, grinding into me with the type of pressure that made my whole body start shaking under him.

Then I broke against him with my mouth still on his…

My pussy tightened around his dick, and I came so hard my nails dragged down his back.

Pressure swallowed every sound I made, still kissing me while my pussy shook and squeezed him.

The wetness between us turned even messier, and he kept grinding until I had nothing left but tears sitting in my eyes and the heavy weight of him holding me down through it.

When it was over, he stayed on top of me, breathing hard with his face close to mine.

I rubbed my hands over his back, feeling the heat of his skin and the way his body slowly came down.

My legs loosened around him, but I didn’t let him go because I liked him here.

I liked the weight of him, the sweat on his skin, the way his heart was still beating fast against my chest and the way his dick softened inside me like he had given me everything he had.

Neither one of us moved for a while.

I kept rubbing his back, and he kept his face tucked near my neck while the candles burned around us. The room smelled like scented wax, body wash, sex and him, and my body felt warm, full and tired in that sweet way only Pressure could leave.

When he finally eased out of me, the mess between my legs made me close my eyes for a second because I could still feel him there. He rolled to his side and pulled me with him, wrapping his arm around my stomach while his head settled against me.

I kissed his forehead and let the tip of my nails move over his scalp, down to the side of his face and along his beard. He was quiet, and I knew he was tired, but I could feel something on him that hadn’t been there a few minutes ago.

When he spoke, his voice was low and gentle against my skin. “Baby.”

I kept my hand on the side of his face. “Yes?”

“Sha’Nelle gotta go,” he replied like that was final.

I didn’t answer right away…

Pressure’s arm tightened around my stomach, not like he was trying to force the words into me, but like he knew they were going to hurt.

I stared toward the candles on the dresser and let the truth sit here because he wasn’t wrong. He hadn’t been wrong for days.

Sha’Nelle had been at the house, and Renza hadn’t been home since. My husband’s cousin was sleeping in hotels and moving around the island because his own space didn’t feel safe with her in it, and I couldn’t keep pretending that wasn’t happening.

Pressure lifted his head a little and looked at me. “It’s been days, Pluto. Renza ain’t even comin’ home. You know that ain’t like that nigga.”

“I know,” I said soft.

“He not gon’ say it like this, and he not gon’ ask me to put her out ’cause he know you let her in,” Pressure said. “But this his shit too. I can’t have that nigga stayin’ in hotels while everybody wait on him to be ready to walk through his own door.”

I swallowed and kept looking at the candles because I felt both sides of it.

I loved Sha’Nelle. I loved her enough to hold her on my steps, let her cry into me and give her somewhere to rest when everything else felt like it was falling apart.

But I loved my husband too, and I understood what he was trying to protect.

This wasn’t about being mean to her. It was about everybody finally letting Renza and Sha’Nelle stand in the middle of their own mess without using our homes, marriages and peace as places to bleed.

“I’ll talk to her,” I said.

Pressure lowered his head back down and pressed a kiss against my nipple. “I ain’t tryna be cruel to her.”

I kissed the top of his head. “I know you’re not.”

“I just want my house back,” he murmured. “And I want Renza home.”

My nails moved over his head again. “I know, baby.”

He breathed out against me, and some of the tension in him eased.

I stayed awake with him in my arms, rubbing his back while his body got heavier against mine.

After everything we had just shared, the quiet felt different now.

It felt full of all the things we both knew but didn’t need to keep saying.

Pressure fell asleep against me a little while later. His arm was still wrapped around my stomach with his face resting close to my chest. I kissed his forehead again and looked toward the candles, already preparing myself for the conversation I needed to have with Sha’Nelle.

Everybody loved her. Everybody loved Renza, but it was time for them to figure out what they were going to do with each other without dragging the rest of us into the middle of it.

Just like me and Pressure had to find our way back. Just like Toni and Kay’Lo would have to fix what had been shaken in their house…

Sha’Nelle and Renza had to face each other or let each other go, but they couldn’t keep making everybody else hold the door open while they decided.
