Chapter 20 Charisma

“I miss you too, man.” Chaos not only says those words to our son, but he also signs them.

We have just finished dinner, and we’re sitting on the couch on LiveTime with CJ and Chrishanna.

She’s in the background folding clothes, and though I try to see their background clearly, I cannot tell if they’re in the same time zone as we are or not.

There are no windows in view, and while I want to ask CJ, I don’t want to alert him that anything is wrong.

He thinks that he’s just on vacation with his aunt Chrissy, and I’m fine to let him believe that, if he’s safe and his innocence is protected.

“When you get back home, I have so much planned for us to do,” I sign.

He gets excited and starts asking if we can go to the movies, the fun zone, the amusement park, and if he can have a party.

He’s asking so many questions, and I miss him so much that I’m inclined to say yes to everything, but instead, I reply, “No, you’re not about to guilt me.

” I sign the words, even as I speak them, because I want Chaos to catch on and to be clear on what our conversation is.

I’ve been teaching him sign language in our downtime, and he’s caught on fast. I’m proud of him, but I cannot wait for him and CJ to interact, because I know that it will be more meaningful.

His phone rings, and he glances at it with a frown. “I’ll be back. I need to take this call.”

“Say bye to CJ. He’s asking where are you going.”

He signs to him letting him know he must answer a call. Chaos tells him that he loves him and good night. I return my attention to the phone just as CJ becomes distracted.

“Chrissy,” I call out, getting her attention.

“Hey, boo,” she replies tiredly, returning to the phone and picking it up.

“Is he okay?”

“Yeah. He’s on this new video game that he just got today. He’s all excited about it.”

“I mean, in general. Being away from me, is he okay?”

“You know that he misses you, girl. You’re his world, but I’m thankful that Mama and I have also been a part of that world, so it makes it easier for him to be away from you.”

“Where are you guys?”

She clicks her tongue and shakes her head. “You know that I can’t tell you that. Besides, I’ve got Booga Bear standing over my shoulder,” she replies, jerking her thumb over her shoulder at one of Chaos’s MC brothers named Ice.

He’s cute, even though he’s mugging her and me. He’s a little territorial when it comes to her, or so I’ve been told, but he’s also fine as hell, and much taller than Chrishanna’s little five-two self. His muscles are hulking and big, and he’s towering over her and listening to our conversation.

“Do you mind? Just a little space?” she asks, rolling her eyes and flipping her hair.

I can tell from her body language, the way that she crosses her legs, thrusts her cleavage forward, and lean sideways in her seat, making her hip and ass shift out, that she likes the guy. It doesn’t matter that she’s giving him hell; she wants him. I chuckle under my breath and shake my head.

“Do you guys need anything?”

“No. We’re honestly fine. My brother made sure that we have the best of everything, and we’re safe. You just help them figure out what the hell is going on so that your baby can come home to his mama.”

“I will. I love you, girl.”

“You know I love you too. You and he seem to be working things out.”

Chrishanna wasn’t our biggest fan, because she knew that he would hurt me someday. She wasn’t wrong, but it was all because of a misunderstanding.

“We are. Talking some things through and figuring out what went wrong.”

“So, y’all back together or what?”

“I don’t know, Chrissy. We’re just working and talking, . . . you know?”

“Mm. I guess,” she mutters, rolling her eyes.

“Are you mad?” I ask in a whiny voice while laughing softly.

“No. It’s whatever.”

“Don’t be mad, boo.”

“I’m not mad. If it keeps his ass home and safe, I guess I can tolerate it. You’re a good look for my brother, but I can’t say the same thing about him. You could do better.”

“You mean like Mr. Politics?” I ask, calling Ben the name that I have always called him with her.

“Girl, hell no. I don’t like him for you either. Have you talked to him lately?”

“I haven’t, but I’m sure he’s been calling. I just don’t have my phone.”

“Girl, a normal man would be checking all over the globe for his woman. I don’t like the fact that you two must hide your relationship.”

“Well, you know why. It’s all good though.”

“Yeah, it’ll be better if you kick his slimy ass to the curb.”

“Byyyee, Chrissy.”

I end the call without waiting for her to reply, and I move into the kitchen to clean up our dinner. I glance over my shoulder to see Chaos still on his call, and I wonder what it is about. I’m ready for all this to end, and I’m hoping that the three of us can be a good family.

Chaos was so good with Jagged and Bell’s kids yesterday.

He surprised me, taking on the opportunity to cook for them when he hadn’t been asked to, and then turning around helping with homework was the cherry on top.

He even remembered his manners when Jagged’s parents showed up.

I forgot he used to say “yes, ma’am,” “yes, sir,” “no, ma’am,” and “no, sir,” all the time when we were growing up.

It’s funny how I went from trying to find ways to escape, and all I want now is to be under him. I think back to my conversation with Chrishanna, and I wonder if Ben is looking for me. Two weeks have gone by without me hearing from him.

I want to believe that he’s worried about me, but if he hasn’t reached out to Chrishanna, then I don’t know what to think. She was the only one in my life, besides Ms. Christina, who knew about him.

I turn my gaze back to Chaos on the balcony where he is still on his call. A familiar face comes on the TV and jerks my attention away from Chaos. I rush into the living room to grab the remote so that I can turn up the volume.

“Police are looking for this man in the assault of Senator Benjamin Starling’s assistant, Emmanuel Tennison.

Police say that if you have seen the man or have any information on his whereabouts, please dial the number below.

Do not approach him, as he is a person of interest in the assault case.

Mr. Tennison is awake now and talking with police about the attack.

In their investigation, police have cleared popular podcaster, Charisma Cofield.

“Ms. Cofield was originally a person of interest in the assault case against Mr. Tennison because she was the last person seen with him. She was stated to have gone missing the day of the attack. She has not been visible on social media, but sources say that she is staying with close relatives, and she is safe.”

They flash the man’s photo on the screen again, and I thank God that it isn’t Chaos or any member of the MC.

Chaos steps inside right as the segment ends.

“Oh my God! Chaos, they have cleared my name in the case against Emmanuel, and they have another person they’re looking for; it’s a man.”

“Yeah, I know. I heard.”

“When?”

“Just now. That’s what we were on the phone discussing.”

“Do you think it’s real, or are they trying to trap me?”

“No, it’s legit. We’re about to bring this entire thing down on its head. Pretty soon, you won’t have to worry about hiding out anymore. You can be free to roam about again,” he professes, gripping my ass and squeezing it as he pulls me closer.

“Yeah?” I whisper, going up on my tiptoes to kiss his soft lips.

“Hell yeah,” he replies in that deep, sexy voice that I love.

He bumps his soft lips into mine before he presses deeper. He sucks on mine, and I moan as my panties grow wet. I want to service him tonight.

We are standing at the doorway of the balcony, but I don’t care. From all that I have seen, no one is around here anyway. I pull back from the kiss, drop to my knees, and pull his basketball shorts down as I go.

“You got a license to carry that thang, girl? You’d better be careful with this deadly weapon, or you might shoot your eye out.”

“It’s a good thing that it’s going straight into my mouth then, huh?” I plop his dick right into my mouth, keeping my gaze trained on him.

He pulls back and out. “Are you sure you can handle this? I feel like fucking like crazy.”

I wink and close my hands around him again. I draw Chaos into my mouth. I savor the taste of him as I rub his balls gently with both hands.

His head drops back just a little, and his lids grow heavy with lust. He pulls his bottom lip into his mouth, biting down on it. Deep furrows draw themselves between the groove of his brows, and his hips wind themselves in a deep circle.

“Girl, you gon’ fuck around and get that throat fucked up really good. Watchu know ’bout sucking this dick?”

I swirl my tongue around his shaft before I hollow my jaws and deep throat him.

“Aww fuck, Charisma,” he whimpers.

He screws his face up, and I can tell that he’s fighting to hold on.

My hands grip his thighs, and I dig my nails into his flesh lightly.

He pumps harder and faster, and my thoughts venture just a little.

Not enough to let him know that I’m distracted, but just enough for me to wonder how he feels about me.

Am I just a distraction until he finds something better to do? Is he fascinated at the novelty of being a family, or does he really want to be a family? I want to ask him, but that might be a bad idea.

When he finally releases his nut down my throat, I swallow it all. I keep him in my mouth until he regains his composure. When he does, he wastes no time lifting me and putting me on his chest. My legs go over his shoulders, and my pussy meets his face.

“Hold on to the doorframe up there and don’t let go,” he instructs, looking at the top of the balcony door.

“What in the calisthenics-pussy-eating position is this, Chaos?”

“Girl, just shut up, hold that doorframe, and watch me work.” He shoves my panties aside with one finger while he’s holding my thigh with his other hand. He slides the finger deep into my pussy and works it back and forth.

“Ooh, shit, Chaos!” I scream right off the bat.

Everything this man does to me feels so good. I know that he’s my first and only, but with as good as he works me over, why the hell do I need another dick if this one ain’t broken?

He slowly slides his finger deeper inside of me before adding a second and a third. When he pulls them back, he holds his fingers to my lips. “Suck my fingers clean, Charisma. Don’t leave a drop of pussy juice on them. I want these muthafuckas cleaner than an operating room.”

I do exactly as he asks, savoring my own juices.

“Mm,” I moan, growing wetter at my own sounds and action than I should.

“That’s it, girl. That’s all I needed.” He repositions his hands to grab both thighs, and he lifts me slightly, just enough so that my pussy is right at his lips, and that nigga goes to work.

Chaos has neck control like a damn giraffe. He’s feeding on me like I’m nectar from a honeysuckle tree.

“Ohh, suck me, Chaos. Suck me, baby. That’s my plate cleaner!” I shriek before I break down sobbing as he eats my pussy like he’s not leaving anything behind for the next meal.

When I cum, my body jerks wildly, but I don’t let go of the doorframe up top. My legs tighten around his neck, and he pushes me back a little more. Eventually, my legs relax, but I’m still holding onto the doorframe, and he’s still holding my thighs.

After he cleans me up, he whispers, “You can let go, baby.”

He slowly lowers me to the floor. “Damn, Chaos. My back hurts.”

“I got you, baby.” He lifts me into his arms and carries me upstairs to the shower.

I sit on the toilet as he adjusts the water and grabs our shower supplies. When we step inside, he immediately washes my body.

“What is life like in the MC?”

“It used to be a lot of partying, smoking, drinking, some folks did drugs and got their asses put on probation. Priest is cool with weed, but nothing more. A lot of fucking, all the time, and then there were the bike runs; that’s what I lived for.

Being on the road with my brothers was everything to me, man. ”

“What about trips? Did you all ever do any of those for fun?”

“We did. Had the old ladies and sweetbutts with us, and that was a lot of fun, too, but not as much as going with just my brothers. Or maybe because I wasn’t involved with any of them like that.”

“Is it still that way?”

“I mean, I guess.” He softly rubs the cloth over my lower lips.

“Mm. Feels so good.” I moan as he massages me down there and kisses me gently before he pulls back.

“It used to be that way. To be honest, I’ve been gone for a while, so I’m not sure how things will be moving forward.

I’ll admit that it doesn’t seem like a lot has changed in the last five years.

There have been some new members patched in, some gone to jail, and a few who have died, but not much else has changed. ”

I shudder at the thought of losing him to jail or death. He notices it because he’s always been observant. He lifts my chin and kisses my lips. “Don’t be afraid. You ain’t got shit to worry about. I’ve got things under control.”

I wonder what that means, but I don’t ask. Chaos is very different than the young, wild boy who left here five years ago, but he seems just as deadly now as he did back then. Whatever the change has been, whether absence from his family, the MC, and me, or just maturity, I like it, a lot.

“Okay.”

“Hey, you trust me?” he asks, tilting my chin up again as he runs my washcloth under the shower water and then rinses me with the showerhead.

“Of course, I do.”

“Then know that I will never let you down. I’ll protect you and my little man, a’ight?”

“Okay,” I reply softly with a smile as my heart explodes inside. He takes the damp washcloth, runs it between my thighs, and then pulls it to his mouth.

I watch in amazement as this crazy ass man sucks my washcloth into his mouth until he has sucked all my water and any residuals remaining from me on it into his mouth.

He can easily make a girl fall in love all over again with him.
