Chapter 32
-:- CHAOS -:-
Wedding day at last. In some ways, it feels like I got to this point quickly, yet I can’t wait to make this woman mine. All the brothers seem to find their woman and know instantly that she is the one.
Corey is laughing as he steps into Wings’ bedroom, which we commandeered to get ready. His cheeks are rosy, and he’s glowing with health and excitement. He is so different now that I can’t help but think he and I were lucky the day I grabbed him.
“Dad, did you see I have black pants, new boots, and a denim vest?”
I look again at Corey and give him a huge smile. “Yeah bud, I saw, and you are gonna look cool. You remember what to do?”
“Yeah, Dad, I know,” Corey drawls, then the little fucker rolls his eyes at me.
Once we are dressed and looking damn good, I have to say, I give us both a look-over. Black pants, boots, white shirts, and our vests as Corey calls them. I slicked his hair to the side with some gel and gave mine a tousled look on top. Yeah, all ready to go.
Wings steps into the bedroom, looks around, and notices we’ve left everything just as it was. I know like myself, he keeps things in their place. Although he and Heather mess with each other they accept personal space is just that—personal and private.
“Are you both ready?” Wings asks as he gives us both a look over.
“Yeah I’m ready, Uncle Wings,” Corey replies excitedly.
Nodding and squatting in front of Corey, Wings says, “Remember to walk slowly, smile, and then at the end you step to the left and stand still.”
“Okay. I can do that,” Corey nods with such a serious look on his face that I cover my mouth to hide the smile.
“Victoria is here. She’s using Mia's and Axel’s room. Mia is fussing around her along with Bitty. They are laughing like loons,” Wings informs me while smirking. “Mia had the kids all dressed up and gave them to Amelia and Sybil, telling them firmly they had better keep them clean.”
I laugh because how does anyone keep the twins clean for longer than five minutes! “I bet that went down like a lead balloon.”
“It’s called penance according to Meat, who is finding it all highly amusing.
I only found out because Star told me. Seems Meat has been watching some tension going on in the kitchen, and he was about to step in when Victoria and Mia did.
Seems your woman has a soft spot for the underdog, Chaos.
” Wings taps Corey on the head and leaves before I can say anything about this underdog comment.
Walking into the common room, I easily notice all the flowers around the room, garlands with bows, and ribbons hanging against the walls. Mia and the women have been busy, and I’m very grateful that they are making this special for Victoria.
The kitchen is decked out around the eating area, and the back door is framed in flowers. The place smells sweet with the scent of flowers.
“It's pretty isn’t it, Dad?” Corey asks and takes my hand. That movement tells me he’s not as calm as he’s trying to show.
I give his hand a small squeeze before I respond. “It is, and I bet your momma is going to be thrilled.”
Outside, a set of seats has been placed on each side, creating a walkway through the center. At the top is an archway with flowers, and even I have to admit it looks romantic.
As we get to the top near the archway Axel appears and gives me a huge grin. “Are you ready to become a responsible person now, Chaos?”
I chuckle as I answer, “Yeah responsible, but I’ll still be Chaos.”
Lincoln appears and places his hand on Corey's shoulder. “Come on, Corey. You are supposed to be at the top, not here. You can’t do your job if you are in the wrong place.”
I watch as Corey and Lincoln amble toward the kitchen door and turn back to Axel. “You got this, Pres?”
Axel puffs up and gives me a look down his nose, “Of course I’ve got this, I’m in charge, ain’t I?” I can see by the sparkle in his eyes that he’s yanking my chain.
Looking over my shoulder, I take notice of the brothers, each sitting with their woman.
TwoCents and Paisley, Stitch and Gemmy, Colton and Nyx, Hammer and Tilly who is holding Quinn, their daughter.
Jig and Kenzie who have BigDog laid at her feet.
That’s just a few that have found their forever, and I can’t wait for my forever to start.
When I hear the music I chose start, my heart flies nearly out of my chest. How Long Will I Love You by Ellie Goulding. It’s the only way I can tell her how much she means to me, and is going to mean to me.
Turning to watch Victoria walk toward me I smile. Corey is holding her hand, and his chest is so puffed out it’s a wonder he stays upright. Victoria looks down at him and has the softest smile on her face. She whispers something to him, and he nods, giving her a beaming smile in return.
She has a cream dress with a cream jacket. She looks beautiful, and I don’t think she’d have looked any better if she’d gone traditional with a wedding gown. But I can’t imagine her in a puffed-up white wedding dress.
Once they reach me, I hold out my hand which Victoria takes, and Corey steps to the left. He is still holding himself perfectly well until he turns around and holds his denim jacket out to show everyone sitting behind him. It says ‘Property of Chaos and Vicky’, along with the club logo, of course.
Everyone whistles and hoots for him, showing he’s one of us and has been easily accepted as mine and Victoria’s. Axel mumbles to Corey and he shoots up straight, looking Axel squarely in the eye, “Yes, Pres.” Right before he gives Victoria a small smile and waits quietly for what comes next.
Our vows do not take long because Axel isn’t one for reading reams of stuff. As he states to anyone who listens, it’s just words, and it’s what happens after the vows that matter. He’s right. It’s how we treat each other once married that carries us into the future.
“I pronounce you man, wife, and child!” Axel pronounces, and everyone looks at Corey when he jumps up and down, then sprints on the spot, pumping his arms and legs with excitement.
Victoria bursts out laughing at Corey’s antics, then grabs him to her and hugs the shit out of him. I wrap them both in my arms and cannot hold back the huge smile on my face.
We are guided up the compound to Knuckles' place, and oh boy, he has a platform built for dancing, poles around where twinkling lights are hanging.
That is going to look great once the sun goes down.
There is even a bar area with huge kegs for everyone to grab a beer.
The hours pass with getting food which Meat and the ladies made in the kitchen, drinking beer every time someone proposes a toast, and dancing.
We even did some line dancing thanks to Kya and her fascination with it right now.
“I’m going to change into something more casual. I won’t be long,” Victoria kisses me then heads to the clubhouse. I watch her walk away and cannot help but consider myself very lucky.
“You got a good one, Chaos,” Beer says as he takes a stance next to me.
“Yeah, I have. I reckon the brothers have had it right all along. Grab the woman you know is yours. Take no excuses and make it work. You not seen your woman yet?” I ask and look at him closely.
“No, not sure there is a woman for me anywhere. You know I’m happy as I am, for now at least.”
I’m not sure I believe him because he looks around at brothers dancing with their women and I can see his shoulders slump some. I’m not pushing him on the issue as it’s not my business.
Opening my mouth to thank him for the bar, I am suddenly drowned in ice-cold water. I freeze, and I mean bodily freeze with shock. My eyes flick around and seeing Wings, Target, Stitch and BS laughing like idiots I know who has done this.
Taking off my dripping kutte, I pass it to Beer, who is as shocked and nearly as wet as I am. But I take off running and tackle Stitch to the ground because he was the slowest to react and the easiest for me to get to.
We tussle some, and I hear Chaos move. I jump to my feet and watch as Stitch is drenched. I high-five Beer who is holding the empty bucket, and turns to the water barrel that has been placed near the grill. Safety measures you know!
Victoria, at some time, reappeared wearing tight-hugging jeans and a top that slips off her shoulder, showing a lacy bra strap. Fuck, she looks beautiful. “Get them, Chaos,” Victoria bellows, and I do as my woman wishes. I go after BS next as he’s the closest to me.
We were all sopping wet within an hour, and most of the brothers had joined in while the women had gotten themselves seats and became a cheerleader for their men.
Even Axel is dripping wet and grinning. I have to admit he is a good man and an excellent president.
I’ll never regret coming to the MC and becoming a brother.
It’s what we all needed, especially Meat who was lost more than any of us.
Dried and back at the party, I find Rock and get him on one side. “Can you bring the trike to the house tomorrow?”
“It’s here. I thought you were giving it to her here, Chaos,” Rock frowns as he replies.
“No. I was going to wait until tomorrow.”
“Oh!”
“What do you mean, oh?” I ask, then frown at the look on his face.
“Well, I thought you were giving it to her here after the party, and Destiny told Mia, and Mia told Kya who’s leader of the girl gang now. So, they all got their trikes and hogs here ready to guide you back to your house.”
“What the fuck, man!”
“I’m sorry, Chaos. But it looks stunning.”
“What looks stunning?”
Both Rock and I turn slowly to see who is asking, and it just had to be Victoria. I swallow and close my eyes for a moment before turning to Rock and punching him hard in the face.
Now, we end up fighting for a moment before Axel snarls for us to stand down.
It all comes out about the trike and it's supposed to be a surprise.
What none of us expected was the sound of a horn and the trike along with Victoria and a laughing Corey, riding past. Slowing slightly, Victoria shouts, “SEE YOU AT HOME.”
I run for my truck, which is all decked out with ‘Just Married’ ribbons and a poster. I’m going to look a fuckin’ idiot driving this without a bride. But I’ve gotta catch up to my woman and son.
Once all three of us are settled for the night, Vicky and I have a wedding night to enjoy. The thought of a night with Victoria stops all the annoyance I had been feeling. Now I have more of a warmth and eagerness rushing through me.
‘I wonder how many kids Vicky wants?’ I mumble to myself…
I can report that the night was amazing, and I’m not sure how good her pill works, but they’d better be good ones with the amount of loving we had going on, or she’s gonna be pregnant already.
