Charleston's Scarlet Door

In Charleston in 1999, fifteen-year-old Anson Bishop is not yet the Four Monkey Killer, though he has already taken a life he never meant to take.

His parents taught him that murder was a way to survive, and when their house burns and his mother disappears with stolen mob money, he believes that upbringing is finally behind him.
