Blaze POV

I lean back in my chair and look around the table. Apparently they delayed the whole bike job last night because Ghost got into it with Vesper and she tried to shoot him. Just a typical Tuesday for us.

Now they’re all arguing about how rare and special this new bike is.

“If it’s that good, it’s gonna be locked up tight,” I say.

“Yeah, and probably has a guy watching it,” Glitch mumbles. “Means sneaking in and grabbing it without anyone knowing won’t be easy.”

Echo laughs. “So someone knows? If we get in, get the bike, and get out clean, even if someone’s babysitting it, we still win. We got in and took it right under their noses.”

He really wants this. “Okay, but what if multiple people are watching it?” I ask.

“No,” Knox cuts in, leaning forward. “They keep normal bikes in the garage or the lot. Anything rare and expensive gets locked away separately. There’s not enough space for a bunch of guys to hang around in there.”

Ghost slams his hand on the table. “We need to move soon or these assholes are gonna think they got away with hitting one of our guys. I’m not letting that slide.”

“We’re doing it,” Echo decides. “We’re just figuring out how. You lot won’t let me just walk in and play.”

“Because you playing always ends in drama and a full fucking war,” I laugh. Echo just shrugs like that’s not a problem.

“Fine. We’re doing it tonight,” Knox says, standing up. “Here’s the plan. We ride up the dirt road at the back. Me, Ghost, Glitch, and Blaze will go in through the rear.”

Guess I’ve got a job.

“Echo and the rest of you stay near the front. If we need a distraction, you handle it. We’ll cut through the fence and head straight for where they’re keeping the bike.”

Knox looks at me, Ghost, and Glitch. “Ghost, you stay at the back and watch our bikes. Make sure no one spots them and give us a heads-up if anyone comes. Glitch, you hang behind the building and kill any security cameras or alarms with your phone. Blaze and I will go in and grab the bike.”

I nod. “I’m good with that.”

“Alright, let’s get this done now,” Knox says. “No point waiting.”

I want this over with quickly. I still need to deal with the Dylan situation. I woke up alone this morning to a single note on the nightstand that just said: I’m not gay.

Ironic as fuck, considering I was still buried inside him a few hours earlier.

We all push up from the table and start getting ready. A few minutes later we’re on our bikes, engines roaring. We split off at the main road. I follow Knox, Ghost, and Glitch onto the dirt track that leads behind the rival club’s property.

Time to go steal a bike and send a message.

I spot their compound up ahead and slow down. We kill the engines a good distance away and move in on foot.

“Alright, Ghost. Stay here and watch our bikes,” Knox says quietly. “This back road barely gets used.”

Knox moves to the fence and cuts a hole big enough for us to slip through, then hands the cutters to Ghost so he can widen it for the bike later. We move fast and quiet through the trees until the small, rundown shed comes into view.

It’s smart, really. Everyone would expect them to keep something valuable in the main garage. No one would think to check this old piece of shit.

We stop behind it and wait. Glitch works his magic on his phone for a minute, then nods. “All clear. No cameras back here.”

Knox pushes the door open. It creaks loud as hell and I flinch. Of course it does.

The second we’re inside, I see Grim standing there, hurriedly fastening his trousers. He doesn’t even get a chance to react before Knox is on him, slamming him to the ground.

“Who the fuck else is in here?” Knox growls.

“No one! What the fuck is this?” Grim snaps, trying to shove him off.

I plant my boot on his chest, pinning him down. “Stay the fuck down.”

Knox grins. “Let’s tie him up and strip him.”

Of course that’s his first idea. I drag Grim closer to the bike and notice the keys are already in it. I glance down at his open fly. “What were you doing? Jacking off to your new toy?”

He swings at me. I catch his fist and slam him back to the floor. “That wasn’t very nice.”

He snarls and tries to kick out, but Knox comes back with rope. I haul Grim up while Knox throws the rope over a beam. We tie his arms high above his head. When he tries to kick again, I drive my knee hard into his gut. He groans and finally stops fighting.

“Good boy,” I mutter.

Knox steps back. “You strip him. I’ll get the bike turned around so we can push it out easier.”

I flip my knife open and start cutting away Grim’s clothes, slicing through fabric until he’s standing there in just his boxers. He glares at me, breathing hard.

“Too nice,” I say. “Considering they put one of our guys in the hospital.” I slice the boxers off too, leaving him completely naked and hanging from the rope.

Knox chuckles. “Where’s his phone? We could leave it open for his brothers to find. Catch him with his pants down… literally.”

“Leave it,” I say. “We don’t have time.”

We push the bike out of the shed together. Glitch whistles when he sees it. “Fuck, she’s beautiful. We really burning her?”

“Hell no,” Knox laughs. “We’re riding her at the next meet and making sure they see we painted over their patch with ours.”

I grin as we push the bike through the widened fence. Ghost’s eyes go wide. “Damn… I knew it was nice, but that’s something else.”

“Blaze is riding it back,” Knox says, winking at me. “Go around the front and show it off.”

“Not a problem.” I swing my leg over and fire up the engine. The bike purrs beautifully underneath me. I smirk. “We’re definitely not burning this one.”

I ride down the dirt road, loop around their compound, and head straight for the front gate. As I get closer I slow down, lock eyes with the guy on watch, and blow him a kiss. His face twists in shock when he realizes whose bike I’m on.

I laugh, twist the throttle, and gun it.

The engine roars as I disappear down the road.

Touch one of ours, and this is what happens.
