Chasing the Phantom

FBI Special Agent Tracey Smith has barely regained his footing when Behavioral Analysis Unit 4 is thrown into another manhunt.

Their suspect, known as the Phantom, moves unnoticed by victims and investigators alike, preying on a community that already has reason to distrust the Bureau and ranging across half the United States.

Tracey is still fighting for his place in the unit while concealing his forbidden relationship with Supervisory Special Agent Jon Anderson.

Fresh personal setbacks leave him needing Jon’s support, even as the case pulls Jon into darker ground and leaves Tracey more uncertain than ever.

Each new body extends the Phantom’s threat, and Tracey fears he has taken on more than he can withstand.
