Charisma #3
“I love it. It’s perfect and I’m thinking you might be too and I don’t know how to handle that.” I drug him back through the kitchen as he fought me on every step not wanting to leave the garage.
“Charmy, I picked out every feature of that truck and you ain’t even look on the inside.
Damn, I thought with the way you handled getting the art room this would’ve been a bigger deal.
” He fussed the whole way down the hall dragging his feet so it took more effort for me to pull him.
Nate was being a brat but I had to show him this.
I stopped in front of the door to the art studio and turned to him. “It’s a huge deal. Enormous. But I have something to show you.”
The nerves wouldn’t back down but every part of me told me this was the right thing to do.
We stood in the middle of the madness that was my creative space before I left his side and stood next to a covered easel.
I hated revealing work to anyone who had a vested interest but I knew that he would appreciate it even if he didn’t love it.
I removed the cover and he stood there speechless.
“Is this how you see me, Charmy?”
His tone was awed as he moved closer to the piece with his hand out but then he stopped himself. Almost like he was afraid to touch it.
I’d sketched and then painted Nate in the many facets of himself that made me fall in love with him.
In the center was a recreation of a photo I’d taken of him while he was asleep.
He looked so peaceful and that was what he represented to me.
A place to rest. To put down the expectations of the world and to simply exist in the space with him and be happy.
Surrounding him were images of him smiling, elements of his heritage and the dress uniform he wore when he was performing.
He’d known about the family portrait that I was painting for his parents but I’d worked on this in secret for over a month.
It had been finished for a minute but I had been nervous about giving it to him.
“I love you, Nate. And yes, this is how I see you. Do you like it?”
“I’ve been praised all my life about one thing or another.
Very little of it ever made a difference to me.
But seeing myself through your eyes on this canvas, I feel like a god.
Damn, Charmy, got a nigga choked up.” When he went to rub his eyes I almost lost it.
But when he looked up and his eyes were watery I couldn’t help but let a tear drop.
“I love you, Nate.”
“I love you too, baby. Damn, that truck looks like some bullshit now.”
“No it doesn’t. You filled this room with every supply I could need. I’m thankful to have someone who supports my dreams in every way he can. That’s priceless.”
“You know it’s forever, Charmy, right?” His eyes were almost pleading with me to agree and while I was glad he wasn’t too proud to beg, he didn’t have to with me. My love for him flowed as easily as breathing.
I nodded and only had one thing to say, “Forever.”
“Cool. I need you to sketch your face onto a fairy’s body so I can get this nigga I know in Georgia to come tat me up.” He rubbed his chin like he was imagining the tat and nodded like it was a phenomenal idea.
“You want me on your body?”
He wrapped his arms low around my waist his hands finding their home on my ass. “I’ve been in yours and my heart resides there. What part of forever did you think was a short-term thing?”
My giddiness was displayed on my face and he just laughed and squeezed me closer to him.
“Give me a few weeks and I’ll have something whipped up.”
“Bet. Let me finish this run to number one and then we got to start on forever.”
I knew what he meant and the idea that in less than six months I’d found this man who was my world was both scary and exciting. And I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
“You asking or telling?”
“Both.”
I playfully rolled my eyes. “Typical Bucky.”
“And you wouldn’t change it.”
I peppered his face with kisses as I jumped and wrapped my legs around him. There was no doubt he’d catch me so I didn’t hesitate. To have this type of love flow so effortlessly had never been my goal but I would fight fate itself if it tried to take Nate from me.
“Not for anything in the world. Some people idolize your talents but I worship the man who sees me for who I am. Who looks after me and loves me completely. You ask me and I’ll say yes ‘cause I’m ready.”
Like I knew he would I felt him maneuver the waistband of his basketball shorts down and I lifted up to give him room.
Within seconds I felt his head nudge my entrance as he braced my back and slid me down his dick.
He ground his hips slowly, each move rubbing against my clit and making me fall harder for him.
“You’re my everything, Charisma. My heart, my lil Freaky Fairy. I’m so glad you decided to work in that whore house.”
I cracked up because this man couldn’t be serious for shit. “Bucky.”
“You think I’m playin’? You painting me with this much emotion like it’s regular. Come on, we about to practice giving Solomon a playmate for the rest of the day.”
The End
