Chapter 24 Uncharted
Chapter twenty-four
Uncharted
I woke up to the sound of a sharp thud. The villa was thick with the scent of mango and the lingering heat of what we had done earlier.
I opened my eyes to see Nique bent over, picking a makeup brush up off the floor.
The light from the vanity was the only thing cutting through the dim room, hitting the curves of her body through the thin silk of her robe.
"Sorry," she whispered, catching my gaze in the mirror. "I’ve been trying to be quiet."
I sat up, the sheets pooling at my waist. I noticed her hair was already slicked back, her face halfway through a full beat. My eyes drifted to the side where a rhinestone mini dress was hanging up, the light catching every individual stone.
"Where you going?" I asked, my voice gravelly from sleep.
"Nel texted me. He wants to go get dinner at some restaurant he saw on TikTok," she said, her focus back on blending her concealer.
I rubbed a hand over my face and leaned back against the headboard. "You could have woke me up so I could start getting ready."
Nique paused, her eyes meeting mine through the glass. "It’s just a me and him thing, Dex. He wants to talk about Stella."
"You’re wearing a rhinestone mini dress just to go talk about Stella with your brother?" I wasn't buying it for a second.
"We’re on vacation, Dex. I just want to look good."
"So you were just gonna sneak out and not say shit to me?"
Nique huffed my name, dropping her brush on the vanity. "Dex, it’s not like that."
"Then what’s up? Talk to me. Shit has to change with us, Nique. It’s like we go on these vacations, we fuck, and then you throw a wall up."
She turned around to face me. "Well, the first two times, I had a reason to."
"There won't be a third," I said, my voice dropping an octave.
"I’m not trying to move funny, Dex. I promise. You were sleeping so peacefully, and I didn't want to disturb you. Judging from the other night and the sleeping pill incident, I know you still struggle with insomnia."
"Yeah, I do," I admitted, watching her. "But sleep comes easy when I’m next to you."
The tension in the room shifted instantly.
I reached out, grabbing her by the waist and pulling her between my legs.
The kiss was hungry, tasting like the minty freshness of her toothpaste and the desperation I was still carrying.
My hands found the opening of her robe, my fingers tracing the soft skin of her thighs until she was straddling me, both of us getting worked up all over again.
Nique broke the moment, her breath hitching as she tried to pull back. "Dex, stop. I really need to be getting ready."
"Just come ride it real quick," I murmured, my hands caressing the curve of her ass, pulling her closer until the heat of her was pressing right against me.
"Dex," she moaned, a sound that was half-whine and half-invitation.
She gave in, the robe falling off her shoulders as she guided me inside her. A sharp breath left her the moment we connected and I felt her trying to find her rhythm, her hands pressing into my chest for balance.
“Look at me,” I said.
Her eyes opened and found mine.
“There you go,” I said quietly. “Just like that.”
She moved and I watched every second of it. The way her head dropped back slightly before she caught herself. The way the amber light caught the sheen on her skin. I reached up and traced my thumb along her jaw, tilting her face toward mine so she couldn’t look away.
“You know how pretty you are right now?” I said, my voice low. “Don’t look away from me.”
She made a sound that wasn’t quite an answer but told me everything I needed to know. I kept talking, kept my eyes on hers, kept my hands on her face until she stopped trying to look away and just let me see her.
Then my phone buzzed on the nightstand, loud and insistent in the quiet of the room.
Nique glanced over, her eyes landing on the caller ID. She didn't stop moving, her hips still grinding against mine, but a smirk played on her lips. "It’s your baby mama," she whispered.
"Let it ring," I growled, my hands digging into her hips. "I’m busy."
"Answer it," Nique said, her pace slowing down into a torturous, deliberate grind.
"No."
Nique reached over, her hand steady as she grabbed the phone. She hit the green button, put it on speaker, and laid the device right on my bare chest while she continued to ride me slow.
"Hello?" I managed to mumble out, my jaw tight.
"You must be sleep," Amina’s voice echoed through the room, sounding out of place in our sanctuary.
I bit back a groan as Nique shifted her weight, the sensation almost enough to make my eyes roll back. "I was," I half way lied.
"You sound like you’re in pain, Dex."
I watched the way I was disappearing inside Nique, the sight of her taking all of me while her rival was on the line felt like sweet torture. "What’s up, Amina?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
"Can you bring me something to eat? I'm starving."
"They have room service," I reminded her.
"I can’t get up to open the door for him, remember? My ankle."
I knew she was using that as an excuse, but before I could reply, Nique started doing overtime.
She arched her back, her internal muscles clenching around me so hard I nearly lost my mind.
The silence in the room was filled with the wet rhythmic sound of her taking all of me, her body saying everything her mouth refused to.
"Let me call you back, Amina," I choked out.
"Dex? What are you doin—"
I didn’t let her finish. I reached down and ended the call, the silence rushing back in around us. Nique looked down at me with a look that said she had been waiting for this exact moment. Then she stopped holding back entirely.
"Why you trying to make that girl mad?" I asked, a dark chuckle escaping me as I grabbed her ass and started meeting her strokes with everything I had.
Nique didn't miss a beat, her hips picking up a rhythm that was steady and demanding. "Fuck her," she breathed, her eyes locked onto mine with a challenge. "You just make sure you pull out this time."
I let out a laugh, my hands gripping her waist to keep her steady. "I ain't pull out earlier."
"I wasn’t going out earlier," she countered, her breath coming in short, hot puffs against my neck.
The reality of that hit me in the gut. I slowed down just enough to look her in the eye. "You on birth control?"
"No," she said, her voice dropping into a rasp. "I’ve been with a woman for the last few years, Dex. I didn’t need it."
I felt the heat flare up in my chest. "You might already be pregnant from earlier then, especially since I know you're ovulating."
Nique arched her back, her fingers digging into my shoulders as she rode me into the mattress. "Exactly why I’m grabbing a plan b tomorrow. So don't worry about it."
"So let me nut in this pussy again since you finna block my seed anyway," I growled, the pressure building until I was seeing stars.
"Baby, no," she moaned, though the way she was grinding against me said the exact opposite. "I just told you I’m about to go out."
"You better stop talking and get yours," I warned, my voice thick and hungry as I met her every stroke, "cause this nut about to go out too."
She laughed but that’s didn’t detour her rhythm. She looked me dead in the eyes and said "Then give it to me, Dex. Give me all of it."
I wasn’t giving her a damn thing until she got hers first. I flipped her over, pinning her against the mattress in missionary and stroking deep, making sure every thrust hit that spot I knew better than my own name.
I kissed her deep, swallowing her moans until her body went rigid, and within minutes, she was cumming for me, her walls clenching around me in a rhythm that made my head spin.
It felt way too good to pull out. I let go right inside her, the heat of it making both of us shudder as the last of the tension drained out.
"Now I’m going to have to reshower and redo my hair and makeup," she groaned against my neck, though she didn't make a move to get up.
I could feel her pussy still twitching around me, greedy for every drop. "Your pussy don’t seem too mad about it," I teased, brushing a stray hair from her face.
She let out a soft giggle that went straight to my heart. "Unfortunately, my pussy never stopped loving you. She’s a delusional bitch."
I laughed, the sound echoing in the quiet villa, and pulled her closer. "I need you to follow suit."
She didn't answer with words. She just leaned up and kissed me deep, a slow, lingering caress that felt more like a promise than anything she could have said.
As I held her, I silently prayed things would only get better from here and not go back to the mess we used to be. I needed this to be the new normal.
