Chapter 11 Double Trouble #2

“What? Just shooting my shot, sir. She’s hot and sassy,” Jared says.

I’ve never been called hot before, so I am a bit shocked to hear someone freely admit it.

In a way it’s understandable. They didn’t know me when I was overweight and didn’t take care of myself.

I got medicated for anxiety the summer after high school and I was able to pull my head out of the water and not feel like I was drowning all of the time.

From there I was able to focus on the basic things like hygiene, my appearance, and my health.

Shauna was such a big help when it was at its worst. There were times that I was perfectly content sitting in the same spot and not doing anything besides watching TV or eating.

I had no desire to go outside, take a shower, talk to anyone, or do really anything.

“And off limits,” Darian says as a warning.

“I didn’t know you were my dad. I thought he was dead,” I say to Darian with a smile.

“Damn. And she has a daddy kink,” another guy says.

“Shut up, Alan,” Declan says.

“Still want me down here?” I ask Darian with a smile.

“You could have just said you didn’t want to. You didn’t have to be a brat,” he says, narrowing his eyes again.

“I always have a point to make,” I smile and pat his cheek, making Jared chuckle.

Darian’s expression changes and it forces a flash of heat to sweep over my body.

He’s not mad or even happy. It’s lust. I know how men look at me when they don’t know me, but he knows me.

I don’t react or jerk away from him when he puts his hand over mine as it’s on his cheek.

“Please don’t let our friends get you in bed. We don’t want to have to bury a body… but we will if they touch you,” he says in a soft voice.

“Don’t worry,” I smile. “No one is getting me in bed.”

“Looks like it’ll be one of you two getting her in bed,” Jared says.

“Isn’t she their sister?” one guy asks.

“She’s not our sister,” Declan and Darian say at the same time.

“Your parents are married,” Alan says.

“And the only reason y’all know that is because Jared is nosy and looked her up on Facebook,” Declan says.

“Our parents got married the summer after high school and we’ve not lived together really until now,” I say.

“Gotcha, so she’s off limits because you two are trying to be the one to get her in bed,” Jared says seriously.

“Okay. Now I’m going upstairs,” I say as I laugh nervously when Declan and Darian don’t deny it. I grab a protein bar from the cabinet, and then practically run back to my room.

I call Shauna and as soon as she answers I dump everything on her from moving in with the twins to how weird things just got. Instead of saying something, she laughs.

“What is so funny?” I ask with a sigh.

“Baby... they want to fuck you. They like you. They enjoy your company. How many different ways do I need to explain it for you to understand that they are interested in you but all summer you avoided letting them talk to you about it,” she says.

“What? No one tried to tell me anything,” I say, as I lie across my bed on my belly.

“Mia. How many times did they ask you this summer to come have dinner with them and hang out?” she asks.

“Uh... like once a week,” I say.

“And your innocent little ass just kept saying “No, it’s okay. You don’t have to.” because you thought your Mom and Charlie put them up to it, even though they told you they didn’t.”

“I... thought they just felt obligated to get to know me,” I say.

“Oh? So, they just happened to have the exact protein bar you eat? The kind that isn’t sold in stores and takes weeks to ship?” she asks. “Those two have been planning this all summer.”

“Charlie was the one who wanted me to move here,” I say.

“No... he just didn’t want you in the dorms and said he didn't think you living alone was a good idea,” she says.

“Well...”

“Stop trying to find reasons, Mia. Just face it. They are interested and you have missed every single hint they have dropped,” she says. “For God’s sake. They just laid claim to you in front of all of their friends.”

“How the fuck would that even work?” I ask.

“What? Fucking two men?” she asks. “Easy. You ride one while the other hits it from the back.”

“That’s not what I meant you perv,” I laugh. “I just meant I don’t know how to handle two people being interested in me. No one is ever interested in me.”

“That’s not true, Mia. People have been interested in you since you were thirteen. You were and are so self-conscious that you don’t see past yourself,” she says. “Anyway, are you interested in them?”

“I... don’t know,” I say.

“What do you mean, you don’t know? You either are or you aren’t,” she laughs. I have her on speakerphone, so I don't have to hold my phone, but the volume is turned down since she is so loud when she gets excited over something.

“I don’t know, because I guess admitting it means I have to face the emotions behind that,” I say.

“I mean obviously you think they are attractive, yeah?”

“Fuck. That is such an innocent way to describe what I feel,” I say, and she laughs. “It’s nearly painful how attractive the two of them are. They are identical twins, obviously, but they look so different to me. That might but be a product of my own obsession though.”

“I’ll be honest... I absolutely cannot tell which is which. I just pick a name and go with it. They never correct me, but I don’t think they would. They never correct anyone.”

“I have nothing to say that isn’t going to sound creepy,” I laugh.

“No. Say it. How can you tell them apart?” she asks.

“Well... Declan has a scar on his left hand and Darian... well, he just has a different set of facial expressions all together,” I say. “It’s subtle, but still different.”

“What if you’ve had them backward this whole time?” she asks, laughing.

“Poor Charlie can’t tell them apart sometimes,” I say. “They will intentionally dress the same just to fuck with him.”

“Charlie is sweet. I like him,” Shauna says.

“Yeah. Mom seems to be happy,” I say.

“Back to the twins. Are you interested or not?” she asks.

“Why do you care?” I ask.

“You’re stalling,” she says in a sing-song voice.

“Okay fine. Yes, I am, but don’t read into that. It’s driven by... loneliness.”

“You mean you haven’t been laid in a year?” she asks.

“Yeah, more or less,” I say. “Okay... maybe that’s a lie...”

“What is?” she asks.

“It’s definitely more than that. They are so sweet and always have been. I think I just end up having a thing for guys who are nice to me,” I say.

“Remind us to never bring the guys over here anymore then,” I hear Declan say as he and Darian lie on either side of me, propped on their sides. I groan and lay my head in my arms.

“Oh shit,” Shauna laughs. “I’m gonna go now. See you tomorrow,” she says as she hangs up.

“Mia,” Darian says.

“No,” I say as I go to get up. They both grab me and pull me back to the bed and I end up laying face up, so I cover my face with my hands. They both pull my hands away, so I close my eyes.

“Go away. Please, just go be with your friends,” I say. I try to pull against their hold on my wrists, but they just pin them under their bodies. If I pull it just brings their bodies closer to mine.

“They are distracted. We just came up to ask if you wanted pizza that Jared ordered just now,” Declan says.

“I’m fine,” I say.

“All you’ve had today is those protein bars,” Darian says. “It was more of a courtesy to ask you. You are going to eat.”

“Okay. I’ll eat, just please go,” I say.

“Mia,” Declan says as he turns my face toward him and keeps his hand on my cheek.

“How much did you hear?” I ask with a sigh. When I open my eyes, he is smiling softly at me.

“We opened the door when you were telling Shauna about Jared being a perv,” he says.

“Christ,” I sigh.

“Wanna know something?” he asks.

“What?”

“She’s right," Declan says. "We've been trying to sit you down for a while to talk."

"Do we have to have this conversation with me pinned on my bed?" I ask.

"Oh, that's just because we want to see you between us and helpless," Darian says before gently stroking my hair with his fingertips from my and across the top of my head.

Tingles cover my body and I involuntarily shiver as I close my eyes and turn my face to the ceiling. I am shaking. I want to just run away and hide but they won’t let me. I try to pull my arms again, but it only makes them move closer.

“I am completely out of my element right now,” I whisper. “I can’t handle this.”

“Yes, you can,” Darian says as Declan trails his fingertips across my skin from hip to hip. Electricity jolts through me and my pussy clenches at his touch.

“You can’t do that,” I whimper.

“Tell me no then,” Declan says as he unbuttons my jeans.

My breathing is rapid and all I want to do is yell at him to keep going.

I don’t have to yell though because he slowly unzips my jeans.

I whimper and try to pull my arms out from under them again.

This time Darian grabs my chin and turns me to face him.

“Look at me,” Darian says firmly. I open my eyes, but I can’t focus on his face. He’s looking at me like he’s going to devour me. “Either say no or stop fighting, Mia. You are only panicking because you see yourself as less than compared to everyone else.”

“I can’t help it,” I whisper. I groan and close my eyes again when Declan starts kissing my neck.

“Eyes on me, pretty girl,” he encourages. I open my eyes and Declan slowly slides his hand down the front of my jeans and underwear.

“Understand that we absolutely mean it when we tell people that you are off limits. I don’t care who they are.

.. you belong to us, Mia. We will take this as slow as you’d like.

.. but you will take both of us,” Darian says matter-of-factly.

Before I can say anything, Declan drags his fingers across my clit, and I gasp.
