Prologue

As the new Director of the Monster Supervision Office, I took over the SSS-level sector and inherited its silver-haired prisoner.

He had two tiny red moles under the corners of his eyes, so beautiful it was almost unreal.

Yet the files clearly recorded that this boy had already cut open the chests of three previous Directors before me.

But when I went on my inspection, I clearly saw him quietly counting the old scars on his own arms.
