"Fingerprint authentication successful."
"Iris authentication successful."

Four cold electronic voices fell. The alloy doors of the underwater prison slid open to both sides.
"Director."
"Shh."
The silver-haired boy trapped behind the transparent glass was lifting his torn sleeve, carefully counting the scars on his arm.
When he reached the eighth one, he suddenly looked up, as if sensing a gaze on him.
Two seconds later, the boy inside the White Cube stood up. He stared at the glass separated by a billion-volt electric grid, tilted his head, and his eyes narrowed.
The close-range eye contact made the lantern guard beside me shiver. The anglerfish stuttered, "D-Director, h-he..."
"He can't see us. What are you panicking for?"
The silver-haired boy behind the glass curved his eyes into a perfect smile, making the two tiny red moles at the corners of his eyes look even more bewitchingly beautiful.
I entered the code to shut down the power grid.
"Release him."
