Chapter 4
"You're being nice to me. What do you want? Sleep with you? Make me your fighter? Or do you want me to obediently give you my blood?"
"You're quite experienced."
I looked him up and down, intending to take him away from this lightless place.
"I don't have those hobbies. Come here."
Sa'er's expression turned strange. I simply pressed the back of his head closer, leaned over, and used my fingerprint to unlock the collar around his neck.
A soft click sounded.
Sa'er froze in place for half a second.
"You're giving me back my freedom?"
The collar suppressed his demonic power. Any use of it would trigger a punishment of tens of millions of volts.
It wasn't fatal, but it hurt.
"From today on, you don't have to stay in this sunless place anymore."
"I won't be your dog no matter how much kindness you show."
Sa'er took half a step back, the corner of his lips hooking up. In the next second, he vanished.
This was one of the abilities of a mutated White Ray. Invisibility.
I expressionlessly pressed the remote. He was immediately trapped by a beam of light that rose from nowhere.
Sa'er slapped the invisible wall blocking him, his face completely dark.
"Why can you see through my ability?"
I ruffled his hair.
"Ever heard of the term modern technology? Save it. You aren't going anywhere."
"Let me out."
"Will you still run?"
His face collapsed. He knew when to yield. "No."
I transferred Sa'er to an ordinary supervision room on land.
The night he moved in, the monsters in the surrounding cells went wild the moment they saw his silver hair.
