7. Sage #3
“Please,” I whimpered, knowing that in a second, it wouldn’t be up to either of us. “KD, please.”
His lip twitched, and I just knew he was going to say something crazy. The softness in his eyes told a different story.
“Go ahead. Cum for me, Princess.”
“Thank you, baby. Thank you so much, baby. I love you, KD. I love you more than . . . anyone ever!” I cried, whimpered, and shouted as my nerves ripped at the seams, and my pussy flooded both me and everything beneath me.
I thought KD was about to cry when his eyes dropped to where our bodies connected.
“Look at how this pussy is creaming on me, Sage.” He frowned. “I don’t know why you wanted to act like you didn’t want a nigga for so long. Look how much my pussy loves me. This is my shit, Sage. Stop fucking playing with me,” he said, still fucking me through my climax.
“I don’t deserve you, baby. I can’t fuck up your life with—”
“Shut the fuck up, Sage. Stop saying that stupid shit. You’re mine. You don’t need to be perfect. You’re perfect for me.”
“I can’t.”
“I don’t want to hear it.”
“Klever!” I screamed as a round of fresh heat flooded my body.
He slapped me on my ass hard as I rode him faster.
KD repositioned himself to sit up slightly as his hand moved from my throat to fist my hair.
His other hand stayed firmly on my ass as he guided my movements and drove into me from below.
“Did you ask me if you could cum again?”
“No, sir, but thank you so much. Thank you for being so perfect. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for everything.” I cried real ass tears as I wrapped my arms around his neck and head.
I probably smothered him as I came so hard I felt like the room was spinning.
“Fuck, Sage,” he groaned, burying his face in my neck and holding me flush to him as he released in warm spurts. “Fuck, I love you.”
“I love you too,” I confessed.
“I know, baby,” he said, pulling back to look up at me. His hands stroked my back as I leaned down to peck his lips.
“You sure you want to deal with me?” I questioned with lifted brows.
“You’re my wife, Sage. I didn’t marry you because you were pregnant. You married me because you were pregnant. I married you because I was in love with you.”
I took a shuddered breath as his words settled in. “I’ve always pushed you away because I wanted better for you.”
“And I never went anywhere because I knew you were it,” he countered.
I sighed as I raised my hips to get off him. I ignored the void of having him inside me as I rolled over onto my back.
“What now?” I asked, staring up at the ceiling.
“Now we live in perfect harmony. We can make it work. We already know each other so well. I’ve always known it was you. I’ve just been waiting for you to come to terms with reality.”
“Is that so?” I asked, grinning at his logic.
“It is. I’m talking to Sebastian about us when I see him again,” he said quietly.
I tensed but tried to hide my reaction. I knew better than to think I could hide something from him. His eyes were on me in a flash.
“I got it, Princess. You trust me, don’t you?”
“Why do you need to tell him anything? I don’t want anybody interfering in what we have.”
“I’m not letting you treat me like a dirty little secret anymore.”
“That’s not what I’m doing, K. Is that how you’ve felt?”
“It used to be until recently when you started saying crazy shit like you don’t deserve me. Yes, I’m fine as hell. Yes, I’m rich. Yes, I’m God’s gift to a whole lot of women. In this lifetime, I’m God’s gift to you.”
His foolishness made me laugh as usual. “Shut up.”
“I’m going to have to talk to Bash. He’s around too much for him not to find out, and I’m not keeping you a secret. I rather go to him right about his baby girl than for him to discover that I have her.”
“Wait a minute, did you tell me to shut the fuck up a few minutes ago?”
“It don’t matter. You didn’t do it.”
“You know what,” I said, shaking my head.
Rolling over on top of me, he balanced on his hands and looked down at me. “You know how I feel about you. I’m never going to disrespect you. I never have, and I’m not about to start,” he explained.
“What about Supreme, Klever? You know part of the reason you’ve never pushed the issue is because you don’t want to fall out with him.”
His chest inflated as he took a deep breath. “Let me deal with Supreme. Telling Sebastian will buy us some time to figure out how to break the news to him. Either way, don’t worry. I got it.”
I nodded reluctantly. As much as I hated to think about the aftermath, I knew one thing KD was good at was conflict resolution.
He learned from the best. My dad could solve any issue that arose.
At the same time, my brother was stubborn as hell.
I didn’t even want to imagine them falling out because of me.
“We will deal with it together,” I finally said.
“OK.” He agreed, kissing me softly before climbing out of bed. “Did you find what you were looking for?”
“Yeah, I think so.”
“Well, come on. Let’s get out of here. I hate being in this damn house.”
“I’m starting to feel the same way.”
We cleaned up and dressed quickly. My mind was more occupied with how my family would feel about me and KD than it was about the father of my son cheating on me and leaving me for his assistant.
I headed for the door of my bedroom, looking back at KD as he picked his phone up from the foot of the bed.
His eyes ballooned, and I wondered what it could be.
“Wait, baby doll.”
“What?” I asked, laughing nervously as I swung the door open.
“Bash just texted me.”
Raising my shoulders, I frowned at his reaction. “OK, what did he say? You look like you’ve been called into the principal’s office,” I joked.
“Come outside and holler at me when you finish fucking my only daughter.”
My stomach plummeted to the floor.
“Shit, shit, shit,” I whispered.
My eyes shot to the living room. When did he get here? I guessed the timeline on that awkward conversation had just moved up a little. I moved ahead of KD, rushing out to the backyard. I knew that was where my dad had to be because he loved to sit out on the patio.
The thick smoke from his cigar floated through the air as he lowered the glowing tube from his lips.
I welcomed the familiar smoky scent as my eyes focused on him.
My throat tightened as I opened my mouth, prepared to explain myself like a scorned child.
I cleared my throat, and KD appeared at my side.
“I didn’t call you, Sage,” Bash said, waving me off with one hand.
“I know, but—”
“He doesn’t need your protection, baby girl. I’ll talk to you in a minute.”
“Where’s JJ?” I asked, scanning the backyard for my son.
Tilting his head, Sebastian’s eyebrows lifted slowly as he continued to look at me. Historically, that was my cue to drop it. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see KD’s hands balled into fists at his side. Even my dad chastising me made him defensive.
See why I loved him and hated myself for it? KD was everything. Sebastian pulled the cigar to his lips again as he waited for me to leave my own backyard. The two men having a silent standoff were the two people who made me feel most protected. I didn’t need this to go left.
