Chapter Seven.

Dynamo

Noble reacted instantly and tossed a shield up around me. I grabbed whatever was available and launched it toward Jude Allard. The members of my club stood alert as I threw a tantrum to rival Grace.

Priest ducked as bottles flew over his head and winced as glasses smashed close by.

Vogue’s hands caught fire as stools and everything in my prison headed towards her.

She burned all missiles and then powered down.

Vogue wasn’t bothered about me hurting her because she knew she was safe.

I tossed things in sheer temper. How dare Mike bring this asshole here and drag up my shame and embarrassment?

I threw bottles in Mike’s direction, screaming wordlessly at Noble, who held the shield in place. Warden spun and stormed over to me. He placed his hands on the barrier and didn’t flinch as I flung a blender at his face. It smashed into the invisible wall and bounced off.

“We’re here. Sister,” Warden stated. His words were simple but effective.

“You weren’t there!” I screamed, and my pain slashed through the clubhouse.

“The whores,” Vogue ground out.

“Romeo, wipe their memories now,” Warden ordered.

I slung shit at the sluts who stood gaping.

Maiden wore a look of triumph. “Oh, Dynamo was trafficked?” she simpered.

Before I responded, Vogue’s hands ignited, and so did Maiden’s hair. The stupid bitch screamed as her hair ignited like a bonfire. Thunderbird let it burn before he drenched her in a pool of water. Romeo stepped up behind her and clasped his hands to her head. Her eyes dazed and turned blank.

“Calm down,” Warden ordered, and in response, I slammed the stool Vogue had been sitting on into the barrier in front of him.

“Dynamo, you’re my sister and won’t hurt me,” Warden insisted. His words tore a growl from me, but I was already calming. Damn Warden for being correct.

I turned to Jude, Mike, and the other stranger. “Get what you wanted? Good, now fuck off,” I snarled.

“Dynamo,” Mike said, moving forward.

I blasted him and threw him against the wall.

“Wipe their minds,” I ordered Romeo. He nodded, and I froze them in place while Romeo went to work. Mike looked betrayed before becoming blank. “Order them to return to their base and to forget any connection to us,” I snarled.

“On it,” Romeo muttered, his face fierce with concentration.

“Drop the shield, Noble. I’m in control,” I hissed, and as soon as he did, I shoved past everybody and hit my bike. My throttle roared as I hit the road. A hog boomed behind me, and I knew one of my family was following. I didn’t care. I needed to ride.

“What you thinking?” Pipes asked. I was surprised. Out of everyone, I’d not expected an old-timer. “I beat those slow fucks to their hogs.”

“Dunno, Pipes.”

“Gotta be churning something over, Dynamo. I know my girl,” Pipes said quietly as he sat down in the dirt beside me. I’d ridden until I hit my favourite spot, which overlooked green land and the ocean.

“You knew your girl; I’m not her. My thoughts are chaotic.”

“Ain’t surprised. You never spoke about shit.”

“Did I have to, Pipes? Romeo read my mind and filtered it all back to you. Every single one of you knows my shame,” I spat.

Once I would have leaned on his shoulder. But I couldn’t even do that, and Pipes would be the last person to harm me.

“That boy can’t unsee what he did. He cut a lot out in the retelling, but it haunted him. He spent hours with Wisecrack working through his crap,” Pipes said.

“You saying I need help?” I demanded hotly.

“We all need fuckin’ help, girl. That don’t make you special.” Pipes chuckled. “I’ve seen and done some fucked-up shit. Never raped anyone, but I’ve dealt with cunts before when needed. Their blood, pain, and death are on me, and it don’t give me peace to know I harmed a woman.”

“You did that to protect the club,” I replied.

“Still on my hands, Dynamo.”

“I don’t want to talk about how powerless I was,” I hissed.

“You think you were weak? For two months, they had you, and you refused to break. That ain’t weak. Fuck that shit,” Pipes retorted.

“It’s pathetic.”

“Bullshit. If you’d given up, obeyed them, kissed their feet and done as ordered, forgotten yourself, then you’d have the right to be angry at yourself. You didn’t; you kept fighting until you got a chance. When you did, you didn’t hesitate,” Pipes argued.

“Pipes, they fucked me against my will, I didn’t give permission. They took that from me.”

“Yeah, they did. But you fought them, and as soon as you could make a connection, you did. There was nothing else you could have done.”

“I should have trained harder, physically and psychically, Pipes. Instead, I coasted, believing I was untouchable. Well, I was fuckin’ wrong, wasn’t I? I paid for that arrogance.” A sob left me, and Pipes lifted a hand before lowering it.

“You can’t even touch me because you’re afraid you’ll trigger me!” I snarled as I wiped angry tears away. “McKay was inside me, Pipes!” I screamed to the heavens.

Pipes cursed and hauled me to his side. I fought him at first, but Pipes held on until I collapsed into his arms. He murmured things as I sobbed, trying to get over my disgust that McKay and his band of grotesque assholes had fucked me.

I wanted to scrub myself raw, shove a scrubbing brush up my pussy, and scour it clean.

Because they’d shoved their dirty, maggoty dicks in me.

I was a laughingstock to the Screaming Barons and maybe the Bloody Scorpions.

It chewed me up inside; had they been there? Done the same?

I’d been okay, coping, until McKay. Now it was all coming back, and what Mike had done tonight had inflicted damage.

The devastation of what happened was always there, but more about the fact I’d been trapped in my mind.

That was the horror I’d taken away. My body had been violated, but that healed and moved on.

It was being drugged and defenceless that caused the most trauma.

I had a power most people dreamed of, and yet I’d not been able to access it until Red eased my drug intake.

Then and only then had I connected to Romeo.

If not for Red getting overconfident, I’d still be there; worse, I’d be under someone’s control.

The truth was, I’d been near to breaking, so damn close.

If Red hadn’t become cocky, I’d have given in.

Anything to ease the pain of being locked in my own body.

Pipes rocked me back and forth. The first man to hold me since I’d been freed. Some days, it was a struggle to look them in the eyes because I knew what they’d seen. Me, battered, bruised, raped—a victim. Something I had never equated with myself before. But now the entire club saw me as one.

“Shhh, girl, I’m here,” Pipes soothed, and he was. But he couldn’t take those memories away, and I wouldn’t let Romeo either. Because they would still know, and the thought of them knowing when I didn’t choked me.

“McKay touched me,” I sobbed. “He locked me in my mind and abused me because I was helpless. It was my fault.”

“Why are you blaming yourself?” Pipes murmured.

“Because I couldn’t break free.”

“We gotta blame Kosmic for leaving you then,” Pipes said, and I jolted in shock.

I’d never thought that. “No, why would you say that?”

“Kosmic blames himself. He knows he shouldn’t have left you, but he did. Which makes him guilty,” Pipes stated reasonably.

“Kosmic couldn’t have known what would happen!” I exclaimed, drying my eyes. Pipes had shocked me straight out of my crying jag.

“Don’t matter. We stick together, watch each other’s backs; Kosmic screwed the pooch.”

“Pipes! No!” I denied weakly.

Pipes turned his head and held my eyes. “You saying you don’t think Kosmic’s to blame? That he’d no idea?”

“Yes.”

“Tell him that. The kid suffers daily, believing he failed you. You walked away thinking you were less, that you’d been shamed.

Bullshit. He blames himself for something he couldn’t have predicted.

Warden carries guilt because he didn’t get a premonition.

Wisecrack because he can’t heal your pain because you refuse his efforts.

Slasher healed your physical wounds but not your mental and emotional wounds, and he wishes he were stronger. I can go on…” Pipes paused.

“McKay and whoever was behind this wanted you for your abilities. But they also saw a way to strike at the club. To hurt us all. By taking and raping you, Dynamo, they did just that. Because you’re hurting, we all are.

We’re walking on eggshells, afraid to trigger you.

After you flipped the fuck out when Oracle touched you, nobody got near you again.

We watch you try to kill yourself through working out and the fights you take.

Only a lunatic would have gone up against Knuckles. ”

“Because I was female?” I sneered, wiping away tears.

“Yes. Knuckles should have snapped you in half. He’s killed a man twice your size.”

“Why did Warden allow it? He was there that night,” I asked.

“Because we understand you’re fighting your demons and use the ring to do so.

We understand that you’re making sure nobody can ever take you again.

And it worked. When McKay came for Iona and Lindy, you fought them off.

Even when they tried to distract you, you stayed focused.

And when they shot you with a drug—everything you’d trained yourself to do happened.

Romeo connected, cleared your mind, gave you a lifeline while you protected family. ”

Pipes sighed. “We don’t see a victim. We love a survivor, but we also recognise someone in sheer agony. Girl, let us in to heal you.”

“The entire club thinks I’m weak,” I whispered.

“What? We don’t.”

“Jameson, Teller, those who saw me,” I continued.
