Chapter 4 Live Stream Announcement

"Do the other guests agree too?" I was shocked.

Changing things so casually?

Or had the production planned it all along?

Half the stars in the Domestic Entertainment Circle would collapse without the characters their companies built.

Doing a direct live broadcast in front of cameras with no proper script—weren't they afraid there would be no next episode after this one?

The staff kept excellent professionalism and smiled. "Of course."

"..."

I had no problem with it. The big stars didn't object so what opinion could I have?

I had arrived a bit early so after makeup I just waited.

The four star guests invited this episode were all fairly famous. Besides Ji Mingxu there was film empress Xu Ying who had debuted over twenty years ago, singer Fu Shuangyan, and this year's popular idol Su Jingyu.

The audience would only see them and the invited guests after the live stream started. I didn't have to wait.

Soon everyone arrived one after another.

Ji Mingxu came late. He stepped out of a black nanny van wearing a fresh clean outfit. At first glance he looked like a college guy who had wandered onto set by mistake. For some reason he wore sunglasses—the brand he endorsed.

He started strutting the moment he got out of the car and even waved at the surrounding staff and the cameras.

"..."

The whole group of staff including the director stared blankly at him.

After a moment the assistant director spoke tentatively. "Teacher Ji, we haven't started the live stream yet. What are you..."

"Not started?" Ji Mingxu looked obviously stunned and his tone rose. He quickly scanned the cameras around and said warily, "This segment wasn't recorded, right?"

"If it was, cut it for me. Don't let it appear in the post-edited variety show."

He even muttered, "I specially designed this entrance..."

The director held back a laugh. "Relax, Teacher Ji. The machines aren't even on!"

"Really?" Ji Mingxu tried to test the director's conscience with sincere eyes.

The director nodded firmly. "Really!"

"..." A forty-something man with a face like Li Kui acting cute—Ji Mingxu seemed mentally attacked. He fell silent.

At this point he still didn't know there were no honest people in this world.

I silently lowered my head and covered my face with my hand. A bit embarrassing.
