Chapter 6

Chapter Six

Gabriel

He knew the plan. He’d spoken with Derek in depth about the plan.

But watching Eris ride Magic out onto the trails, he didn’t know how long he could hold back and follow through with the plan.

It would be shoddy work on his end to fail their very first attempt at primal, but the urge to quit waiting and tackle her, kissing her senseless, struck him the moment he saw her riding across the plains.

There was no denying that Eris was beautiful.

Her long hair flew behind her untamed, the shiny black locks catching the early light.

At first he thought going through with her plan in the dark would be better, but then he would miss the way she sparkled in the Montana light, her gaze sweeping around as she rode. He thought she was looking for him.

It made his focus sharper, trailing her from just behind the tree line.

He could wait, it was just damn hard every time he thought of Eris.

Nothing about her outfit today was particularly alluring, but he could see how the snug jeans clung to her ass and the way her breasts swayed as Magic galloped a bit quicker through the open fields.

He was taking his time, greedily drinking in her image after a year apart. He hadn’t met a person who could hold a candle to her since.

“I don’t think she’s ready, buddy,” he said, patting Atlas’ neck as they continued to follow Eris along in the background.

He didn’t need a horse to ride hard when the majority of this game would be handled once she dismounted, and Travis had chosen the horse specifically for him to give the old Clydesdale a well-earned stretch around the property.

Eris continued moving, but at a slower pace.

Derek had relayed that she would be aware of the plan, but when to move was left up to the two of them.

Once she tied off Magic and started wandering, he planned to bring Atlas over to spend time with the other horse as he spent a lot of well-deserved time with Eris.

His eyes tracked down her body, studying the slight bulge in her arms where she had a bit of muscle.

Her hazel eyes were hidden by a pair of large-rimmed glasses, and despite just arriving at the Ranch, she had on a sturdy pair of cowboy boots.

She’d come prepared to ride as much as she was ready to play.

It felt like an eternity later when she finally dismounted, giving Magic little carrots from a saddle bag before she looked around. Gabriel remained where he was in the trees, waiting to see if she might spot him.

She didn’t because he’d purposefully picked a spot deep within the shadows.

Her eyes swept along the tree line several times, her head pivoting slowly back and forth like she could pick him out and ruin the game.

Then a slow smile crept across her lips as she gave up the struggle and, instead, allowed the anticipation to build silently between them.

She gave Magic one final pat before backing away.

Her hands clasped behind her back as she turned, leisurely wandering towards the trees like she didn’t have a care in the world.

Glancing around, Gabriel acknowledged that they really were alone. It was still early enough in the day that the Ranch wasn’t alive with activities yet, and most people were still off enjoying breakfast and morning rituals back at the main lodge.

Once Eris was far enough off, slipping into the trees further down the trail, he stepped out from the tree line. There was a chance she might turn and spot him before he started his pursuit, but he needed to get Atlas over to Magic before he carelessly took off.

Tying the Clydesdale off beside Magic, he gave both horses a gentle pat before turning to the trees. Now, out here in the shadows and the wooded areas, the real fun could begin. It wasn’t the adult play area he’d recently learned about, but for Round One, it would certainly do.

Gabriel slipped into the trees, moving quietly across the ground as he sought out Eris.

He mentally went over the list of things he discussed with Derek about her fantasy.

She wanted something rough, real, and he hadn’t been that forceful with her in the past. But if it truly was her fantasy, he couldn’t deny her.

If there had been a change in plans, a cause to deviate from what they’d discussed, Derek was supposed to have contacted him before Gabriel set out on a ride.

It only took a few minutes of creeping to find Eris. She had started humming sometime after she got off of Magic, the gentle sound carrying around them.

Licking his lips, Gabriel crept closer. He found Eris wandering aimlessly between the trees.

There wasn’t a huge area of trees to work with, but it did well enough to hide her from him, and vice versa.

Her long dark hair swung in a thick sheet to her waist, and he couldn’t wait until he wrapped all those lovely tresses around his fist.

He didn’t plan on hurting her, but Eris had been clear about her fantasy in the emails. Once she’d gotten comfortable, she’d opened up and shared her desires. She wanted a real experience.

Gabriel waited until she crept closer, seemingly unaware that he was nearby. As she wandered past, humming to herself, he shot a hand out, grabbing a fistful of her hair, and dragged her back toward him.

Her raw moan mixed with a scream went straight to his cock, and suddenly he couldn’t wait to tackle her to the ground. But Eris had always been a bit of a vixen.

As he jerked her backward toward him, she twisted around in his grip. There was enough slack between his hand and the base of her skull that if she chose to twist and fight him, it would come at the cost of pulling her own hair.

Gabriel grunted when her hand smacked across his cheek, echoing in the silence around them. He stumbled back in surprise, startled that she’d immediately fought with such vigor. His hold on her hair loosened, and she managed to slip free as her slap rattled around in his head.

She slapped me. And holy fuck it was glorious.

He pressed a hand to his cheek as she spun, his eyes darkening as he watched her turn and stick her damn tongue out at him. The cheeky girl didn’t look scared, tipping down her sunglasses to wink at him. Then she pivoted, leaving him in the dust. “You’ll have to do better than that, Master!”
