Chapter 7
Chapter Seven
Eris
She knew she was playing with fire, but all it did was shoot lust down her spine as she ran away. She’d been able to sense Gabriel was out there, watching her in the midday light. She’d felt his eyes on her but couldn’t find him during her ride or when she’d slipped into the trees.
Her skull burned where he’d grabbed her, the sting of pain sending delicious need through her soul to pool between her legs. A little bit of hair pulling wasn’t enough, but if he was trying to take it easy on her, she didn’t want that.
Gabriel could do so much better than grabbing her hair and kissing her senseless.
Even if he only grabbed her hair, and there were no kisses to be had.
She desperately wanted him to pin her down and feel the slant of his lips against hers again, but for now, it wasn’t going to happen. He had to earn it by playing the part.
A squeal slipped free when she heard him give chase, his steps louder than hers as they ran between the trees.
Eris knew there wasn’t much more coverage out there and made a mental note to turn and run away from the main lodging instead of in that direction.
If Gabriel wanted to give chase like a cat and mouse, she planned on dragging out her experience as long as possible.
As she ran, little branches caught against her skin and left behind small scrapes. She wanted the marks, the thrill, the fear, all of it to give her the real primal experience. So far Gabriel had only grabbed her, and she needed more.
Eris screamed as she came out from the thicket of trees, intent on running off toward the small lake at the back of the property.
They weren’t close enough to make anyone out at this distance, but surely, if someone was trying to have an enjoyable morning by the water, her scream might interrupt that.
She crashed to the ground, Gabriel’s weight bearing down on her to press her into the dirt.
Even as they fell, she was mindful of the arm that snaked beneath her head and cushioned the blow.
It was a thoughtful act that she barely had time to register, her hands fighting to find purchase on the shifting dirt, scooping up handfuls as Gabriel wrestled with her to turn her on her back.
His hands wandered as they struggled, skating across her covered breasts and down to briefly cup her pussy before resuming the fight. It sent her into sensory overload, her mind battling between lust and self-preservation to keep the game going.
Her glasses were askew, knocked out of place when he tackled her. She picked up a fistful of dirt and threw it at him. Gabriel coughed in the little cloud that formed between them.
It made her cough too, backfiring on her progress to escape. She attempted to kick at him, but his weight settled on her legs as he finally flipped her onto her back, keeping her in place.
“You’re playing dirty, vixen,” he hissed, his words going straight to her sex.
That’s exactly what he’d called her the last time they were together, except his hands had been gentler then.
Swiping a palm across his face, little bits of dirt fell down between them.
She readied herself to throw more, and he leaned over her, catching her wrists with both of his hands.
Then they were face to face, the slight stubble across Gabriel’s pale skin contrasting with the streaks of dirt that her throw had left behind.
His breath was ragged, and sweeping her gaze down his body she could see the way his jeans tented at the front, pulling so far from his hips that she imagined she could see the tip of his cock trying to peek out.
His shirt was in the way, but that didn’t matter as far as her brain was concerned.
She was so close to him now she could nearly taste him.
For a moment, as his lips sealed over hers, she forgot to play along.
Instead, she arched into his body with a loud moan, her skin heating everywhere he touched.
Her glasses were shoved away with his nose and she shook them free, not caring where they ended up.
With the bright sun climbing higher in the sky, she found herself squeezing her eyes shut.
Gabriel nipped at her skin, and Eris finally remembered that she was supposed to be trying to escape. She struggled against his hands, bucking her hips up into his. All it did was earn her a strangled groan, and the wetness pooling between her legs intensified at the sound.
“Aren’t you supposed to try and get away from me?” he mocked, his tone drenched in need.
Eris felt the bulge pressing to her center, shifting around between them. She recalled with vivid clarity how it felt when Gabriel would stretch her, and if she started down that path she would most certainly end the fantasy early.
And where was the fun in that?
She snapped her head forward before she could second guess herself, Gabriel grunting at the impact.
Her forehead caught his nose, not hard enough to break it, but she was sure it stung.
It loosened his hold on her wrists, and she managed to get one hand away from him as he blinked, pain clearly etched across his face.
Using his distraction, Eris shoved his shoulder, pushing him partway off of her. She got the feeling he was probably letting her do that to prolong the game. Previously, when they would play in the Dungeon, it had never been that easy to move Gabriel.
Eris tossed the thoughts away as she clambered up, still wearing everything besides her sunglasses. Spinning on her heel, she tried to avoid getting distracted as she took off again.
“Go ahead and run, vixen!” Gabriel called behind her, making her grin despite herself. “You’re not going to get away.”
