Evidence of Us
Prologue
Mariska
I bite down on the hand covering my mouth as he rams into my vagina, sending fire through my belly.
I can taste his blood, and I can feel my skin tearing from the friction, and I am desperate to get away.
“Help!” I scream, my voice muffled and breaking with every excruciating thrust. My attacker says nothing, but he starts smacking the side of my face to shut me up, but I scream louder.
When his hands wrap around my throat, they tighten and cut off my screams. He rams into me hard, groaning as I claw at his hands.
I’m desperate to breathe. Desperate to escape.
I shouldn’t be here. I should be meeting him.
I was going to tell him I’ll follow him anywhere.
I will give it all up for him. But as darkness seeps into my vision, I understand that I have nothing left to give.
This stranger is destroying my body, stealing from my soul… I was never meant to be happy.
