Fake Dating the Golden Boy

James will do nearly anything to see his brother’s memoir succeed as a movie, even changing his name and taking work as the lead producer’s dog-sitter.

To reach the set, he pretends to date her son, William Chapman, the actor at the center of an ugly scandal.

Will hates being trapped there with the A-list star he was accused of assaulting, a charge that may well be false, though he cannot remember the night well enough to be sure, and his father still treats the project as essential to a comeback.

James’s plan serves them both: act like lovers and quiet the talk that Will is dangerously obsessed.

William is nothing like the entitled brat the tabloids describe, and once the pretended romance starts to feel real, James will have to admit the lie or risk his agency job, knowing he will not go back to stripping to pay the rent.
