64. James #2
It was too much, and I unloaded onto the swing with a moan, coming more than I’d ever come before. In fact, I was still coming thirty seconds later when Will stilled, and his cock pulsed inside me.
“Holy shit, that was so fucking hot,” he said, collapsing onto my back.
I couldn’t speak because it wasn’t over. Waves of pleasure were still pulsing through my body.
“You okay?” he asked.
I nodded. “Mm-hmm.”
He nipped at the back of my neck and slowly withdrew his cock. “Don’t,” I whined, but he must not have heard me.
Jesus, couldn’t he just wait another minute or five?
“You sure you’re okay?” he asked again. “You’re not freaking out because Esther caught us?”
I shook my head. I felt way too good to freak out.
When the afterglow dimmed enough for me to see straight, I turned to face him, not caring that I was sitting in my own spunk. “Fuck, I think you might have just turned me into a total bottom.”
The look of panic that crossed his face was exactly what I’d hoped for, but I loved this asshole too much to hold his premature withdrawal against him for long, especially after he’d just given me the wildest orgasm of my life.
“Just kidding.” I pulled him onto my lap.
“Tonight, that gorgeous ass of yours is mine.”
When we got back downstairs, we discovered our viewing party had more than doubled in size. Robert, Donna, Andy, Nandi, and Enrique were squeezed into my tiny living room with the others. Well, most of the others. Where was Esther?
“Does this recliner go back by any chance?” Robert asked.
I glared at my nephew. It was bad enough that Will was seeing our meager apartment without inviting his whole fucking family.
I strode over and, bypassing the broken handle, reached under the cushion to yank the internal release.
With a metallic clunk, the footrest snapped out, and the back gave way.
“Don’t blame the boy,” Robert said, settling into the old chair. “You’re family now, and that means unannounced visits. Get used to it.”
“I’m glad you guys are back. This calls for a toast.” Donna uncorked a bottle of champagne, and white plumes spewed out, streaking across the narrow strip of rug in front of the coffee table.
Returning to Will’s side, I said, “Your family is ridiculous. I suck a dick, and my dad disowns me. You top your boyfriend and get champagne.”
“Wait, really?” Andy sprang from the couch and wrapped us in a giant hug. “That’s even better. Was it the Botox? It was, wasn’t it?”
“No, you took my advice, didn’t you?” Enrique said, joining the group hug.
Everyone was looking at us and smiling like they knew something Will and I didn’t. I really had taken Enrique’s advice, but I wasn’t about to share that with this lot.
“I’m so happy for you both,” Donna said.
“My news isn’t nearly as exciting as that, but it’s still pretty fucking exciting.
I was talking to the studio execs this morning, and they want you, William.
They want you to finish the movie. And don’t worry about Derek.
He’s going to play Emily’s new boyfriend, Chris, the one she runs off with. ”
Donna didn’t bother waiting for Theo to get glasses—which was probably for the best since we only had coffee mugs—and drank straight from the bottle before passing it to Nandi.
I’d never doubted they’d give Will the part. The guy was a friggin’ hero and, as far as I could tell, the greatest actor alive. How could they not give him the part? I was dating a friggin’ movie star, an honest-to-god movie star. In fact, I’d just been fucked by a movie star.
The champagne made its way over, and I drank it like it was meant for me, like taking a dick called for champagne. Maybe it did.
There was a knock at the door, and Theo leaped up to answer it. “I’ll get it.”
Esther stepped into the crowded apartment with a bottle of wine in one hand and a bottle of bourbon in the other. She took one look at the room full of celebrities and said, “I probably need to sign something to be here, don’t I?”
“Not unless James wants you to,” Robert said. “It’s his home.”
Esther handed the bottle of wine to Will first. “This is for the bachelor party pics.” Then the bourbon. “And this is so we can forget what just happened on the roof?”
Will laughed, and even though he was directly responsible for the soreness in my ass, I couldn’t get over how much I loved him. How was this my life?
“Sounds like a plan,” Will said. “You want ice in yours?”
“Fuck no.”
Tiffany turned up the volume on the TV. “It’s about to start.”
There wasn’t room on the couch, so I sat on the floor and pulled Will onto my lap.
I still couldn’t believe these assholes had traveled all the way out to Jackson Heights.
If they wanted to make a party out of watching Will’s 60 Minutes interview, we could’ve done this at Enrique’s penthouse or Robert’s place in Chelsea.
Even Donna’s room at the Four Seasons was probably bigger than my apartment.
But the gesture wasn’t lost on me. For so many years, it had been just the three of us—Travis, Theo, and me.
And then just the two of us. But now, Theo and I had been absorbed into one of the most famous families in the country.
It probably should’ve felt weird, this Princess Diana moment, but it didn’t.
Probably because, despite the wealth and fame, the Chapmans really weren’t so different from the Youngs—dysfunctional, loyal, and prone to heavy drinking.
What would Travis think if he could see us now?
He’d probably laugh his ass off. He’d be proud of me, too, but not for landing a wealthy movie star.
No, he’d be proud of me for getting my head out of my ass and letting my heart take the lead for a change.
He’d see how happy Theo was and breathe a huge fucking sigh of relief.
I would’ve shared these thoughts with the class, but I didn’t want to risk making half the men in the room cry. Seriously, it was embarrassing as hell to witness.
Instead, I pulled Will closer, hooked my chin over his shoulder, and licked his ear.
“Now the other one,” he said, “for balance.”
