8. Isaiah #3

“Hey, Flash.” Isaiah leaned back, letting the camera catch the way the light reflected off his abs and the soft V leading down to the jeans he wore low on his hips.

“Have you had a nice day?” He was back in his room in Balliol, his usual set-up feeling so much easier to get his angles just right than it had been in the tiny spare room at Ell and Jackson’s flat.

“Oh my god” came the mutter from the other side of the screen, which was still black.

“I’ve missed you while you’ve been busy with your family,” Isaiah purred. “Did you have a nice Christmas?”

A blurry image came into focus as a light flicked on.

Isaiah grinned when he saw Flash sitting cross-legged on a small bed with a grey duvet.

He was already palming himself over his black joggers, a tight white shirt doing little to hide the muscles Isaiah knew for a fact were delicious.

“Fuck, I’ve missed you too, Quick. I need this so bad. ”

Isaiah cocked his head to the side, biting his lip flirtatiously, though he figured he was probably just as desperate. “Think you can come twice for me tonight?”

Flash groaned.

“Stroke yourself for me, Flash. Show me your cock. Show me how you like it.”

Isaiah smiled as Flash shucked his joggers, revealing his weeping cock.

“Yes, just like that, baby,” he said as Flash gripped himself. “I dream about that cock, Flash. Dream about how it tastes, how it would feel fucking me. Do you dream about that too? Being inside me?”

“You know I do, Quick.”

“I want you to imagine it. Imagine I’m there with you,” Isaiah said.

His own body responded to the beautiful sight in front of him.

He was so fucking grateful Flash hadn’t turned out to be an old creep, or someone he knew.

“Want you to get off fast so you can take your time with me. Open me up, spend all night driving into me.”

“Fuck,” Flash whispered as his strokes sped up, properly tugging at himself now as Isaiah watched him, toying with his own nipples and continuing to tease him with every filthy thing in his arsenal.

Flash came. Cum spilled over his hand and duvet. Isaiah bit back a moan and pressed down on the fly of his jeans to stop himself from following suit. He grinned.

“Oh fuck, that’s so embarrassing,” Flash’s skin was flushed, his soft accent garbled by the hand covering his face.

“Nothing to be embarrassed about; that was hot.”

“Yeah?”

Isaiah nodded. “Yeah. And now we’ve got plenty of time for round two.”

Flash inhaled, his eyes fluttering shut behind the mask, and Isaiah was struck by a moment of longing. Longing to see the man behind the mask. Flash’s lips parted, and Isaiah watched his pink tongue dart out and wet them, his own neglected cock pulsing at the sight.

“I like the hair,” Flash said, almost shy.

“Thank you. It was a spontaneous festive decision very much encouraged by my nephew.”

“You have a nephew?” Flash asked.

Isaiah paused. “Oh, er, not an actual nephew. We’re not really related.

” He shouldn’t be talking about his life—he already gave far too much away every time he got too excited about a new topic from his reading, but family…

Talking about family was a bad idea, so it was probably a bit strange that he wanted to. 37

Flash started to say something, but Isaiah blurted out, “He has red hair and the pink was fading so much in mine, he wanted us to look like Christmas.”

“That’s adorable.” Flash’s mouth curved into a soft smile.

“Yeah, he’s a sweetheart. I’m lucky.” Isaiah paused. “Really lucky.” His thoughts drifted to family, but he didn’t dwell there, too worried he’d reveal even more to the man on the screen.

“I can tell you’re freaking out, Quick,” Flash said. “I’m not going to suddenly show up at your door just because you told me you have a ginger nephew.”

“I know, it’s just…it makes things feel too…” Isaiah didn’t finish. He didn’t want to say it out loud, wasn’t entirely sure what he meant anyway—intimate, terrifying? Real.

“I figure it just makes us even. You know I’ve got a dickhead twin brother, I know you’ve got an adorable nephew.”

Isaiah smiled, shaking loose the anxiety and the ache inside that had him wishing that family, with the sweet nephew and easy laughter really was his, that he wasn’t just borrowing it.38 “How was your Christmas with the evil twin?”

“You know, I’m pretty sure he tells all his friends I’m the evil one.”

“You?” Isaiah laughed. “Please. I doubt you’ve ever stepped a toe out of line in your life.”

There was a change in Flash’s body language, a small shift, but Isaiah caught it, and he knew that whatever Flash was thinking was going to ruin the mood completely.

He needed to lighten things up, but there was no way Flash would be ready to go again yet.

He cocked his head in a way he hoped looked coquettish and not creepy. “Do you want to play a game?” he asked.

Flash looked up.

“Not a sex game…though, obviously, open to those too. But maybe we can, like…” Isaiah paused.

“Get to know each other a bit?” Isaiah quickly continued as he saw Flash start to close off even further.

“Not the big things, little things. Inconsequential shit. Like…” he paused looking for inspiration.

“Three things about you that aren’t important. ”

“Not the big things?” Flash confirmed.

Isaiah nodded, grateful that Flash seemed to be just as invested in hiding his identity as he was. Though he couldn’t help but wonder why. “Let’s keep it holiday themed today,” he suggested.

Flash nodded, still looking shyer than Isaiah had ever seen him.

“I’ll go first,” he said. “Since you’re a virgin, and all.”

Flash snorted. Isaiah grinned.

“I prefer fake Christmas trees to real ones,” he said, earning an exaggerated gasp from Flash.

“I don’t understand why cranberry sauce isn’t a thing all year, and…

” He fished around for an idea. “I think flying somewhere warm for Christmas is sacrilege.” Isaiah leaned back, impressed with himself as Flash laughed.

“Your turn, babe, three Christmas facts about Flash.”

There was a moment’s pause, and Isaiah almost told him he didn’t have to. That this had been a stupid idea, a dangerous one. Isaiah shouldn’t push boundaries like this, shouldn’t change the rules that governed their interactions.39 They could just get back to the sex.

Then Flash hesitantly started speaking. “Hot chocolate is better than mulled wine.”

Isaiah strongly disagreed but didn’t interrupt. Flash was skittish about whatever misdeed he was remembering, and he didn’t want him to close off again.

“Outdoor Christmas lights are terrible for the environment and should be banned.”

A gasp escaped Isaiah’s throat. “They’re festive!” he exclaimed.

“Festively increasing carbon emissions and disrupting migration patterns with their light pollution.”

Isaiah huffed. “Any more terrible Christmas opinions to share, Flash? You’re zero for two here.”

“I mean, I agree with you about the cranberry sauce.”

“Yeah?” Isaiah smiled.

“Absolutely.”

“See? That wasn’t so hard, was it?” Isaiah asked.

Flash shook his head, smiling as their eyes met behind their masks, and Isaiah could have sworn he felt an electric shock to his heart. It felt like they’d crossed a threshold he wasn’t ready for, so he did the only thing he could. He retreated.

“Ready for round two, sweetheart?” he asked. His Quick persona snapped firmly back into place as he sucked a finger into his mouth.
