Who the fuck was that?
Rowan barely looked my way before going with that monster. She just took his offered hand and disappeared into darkness.
Worse, I’d been helpless, unable to move, to stop her.
The yard is a nightmare, the air still thick with the burn of her power. I should be grateful we survived, but all I can taste is ash.
Rowan is mine. My mate. And I’ll tear down every supernatural, every council, every cloaked bastard in existence to bring her back.
