Diva was on the edge of her seat, so she took a minute to tell her story. It was crazy, but it was her life at one time.

“I’m sorry but your mama ain’t shit.” Diva was pissed after hearing how Cashmere’s own mother basically handed her over to the nigga.

“No apology needed and she still ain’t shit.”

Sam still lived in The Green whenever she decided to come home.

Even after almost losing her life, she still had the same mentality.

She left the dope boys alone and focused on finessing older men.

She’d lost a lot of weight since she was getting out of the house more.

She’d also regained most of the strength in her hand.

Her mother, June, still lived with her and got paid to take care of her.

Since she didn’t need any help, Sam made her give up half of the money that she made for doing nothing.

They still hated each other but they learned to coexist.

June hated Sam’s kids too, even though they were innocent in the situation.

It wasn’t their fault that their mother stole her sister’s man and had two kids by him.

Sam was a hoe, but June was no better. She was creeping with the pastor of her church until he was killed in an accident that most of his members witnessed.

Some of them were injured and a few met the same fate as their pastor.

Without Sam giving her a place to stay, June would have been homeless without her sugar daddy.

“Hey, y’all,” Amina spoke when she walked into the yard followed by Fonzo and Hank.

“Big mama, not the lil one. Come sit down, boo.” Clover got up and gave Amina a hug before giving up her chair.

“Thanks, girl.” Amina sat down and pulled out a bag of cookies from her purse.

“Yeah, big mama is the right name for her fat ass,” Diva laughed.

“Don’t do her like that. You know them pregnancy cravings be kicking our ass.” Clover knew just how her sister-in-law felt. She didn’t crave for much while she was pregnant but she would have Dash driving as far as an hour away sometimes if ever she did.

“They got me in a chokehold but I’m gonna be a gym rat right with you once I drop this load.”

“Girl, you’ll do better going with me. Clover and Dash work out too damn hard. I be out of breath just watching them.” Diva worked out with them once and she never made that mistake again. Clover earned her perfectly sculpted body and so did her son.

“That’s what I need, some hard workouts. Where is Kim? I haven’t seen her in a minute.” Amina loved Kimber. She was so sweet and her accent was like the cherry on top of the perfect sundae. Kim was funny and didn’t even know it.

“Hell, the heifer lives with me and I barely see her.” Diva rolled her eyes.

“Chile, she got a new friend and a new boo.” Clover snapped her fingers dramatically.

“A boo? Who is it?” Amina was all smiles.

“My brother-in-law. And she’s making him work hard to get her, honey,” Cash replied with a giggle.

“Aww, I’m happy that she’s meeting new people.”

“I am too, but his ex bitch gon’ catch these hands if she don’t stop playing with my cousin.” Clover frowned.

Rondell’s ex-girlfriend was a nut. She showed up at his house whenever she felt like it, even though he never opened the door for her.

One day, she got there right as Kim and Tru were going inside, and she lost it.

She banged on the door like a crazy woman until Rondell threatened to get her locked up.

She finally left, and he thought that was the end of it.

That was until he went outside a few hours later and saw that his back window had been shattered by a brick.

Cash was ready to beat her ass and Clover was ready to help her.

Now, she was pulling the oldest trick in the book and claiming to be pregnant.

Rondell must have been her first real boyfriend but she was doing way too much.

“And what’s going on over there?” Amina discreetly nodded her head towards Monty and Iva.

“Caprice’s worst nightmare come true,” Clover replied as her and Diva slapped hands and laughed.

“Girl, she called me like three times last week.” Amina rolled her eyes.

“For what? I’m so sick of that hoe.” Diva frowned at just the mention of Caprice.

“I don’t even know. I didn’t answer.” Amina shrugged.

“Y’all over here having a good ole time. What’s funny? I wanna laugh too,” Iva said when she walked up, dragging her chair with her.

Fonzo was telling his father and brothers about Amina running into her ex recently.

Fonzo didn’t anger easily but he was pissed.

He was talking about finding his soon-to-be wife’s ex and making him a distant memory.

Of course, his brothers were with the shits, with Hank trying to be the voice of reason.

“Here, Clo, you can have my seat. I’m going sit by my man.”

They all watched, as Diva walked over to Hank. As soon as she got close enough, he grabbed her and pulled her onto his lap.

“Wait, hol’ up.” Monty raised his hand like he was in school. “What y’all got going on?”

“The fuck you mean, nigga? This is my wife.” Hank looked at him like he was speaking a foreign language.

“Worry about what you got going on with Iva.” Diva grabbed Hank’s face and planted a sloppy kiss on his lips.

“It’s about damn time y’all start acting right.” Fonzo was happy to see his parents behaving like they used to.

“Alright, I get it now.”

Dash nodded in approval and understanding.

His father told him a few weeks ago that he was giving up the dope game once again.

He swore that it was for good that time.

Once he got rid of everything that he had, he would give Dash his cut and be done.

Now, Dash understood why. He was happy to see that his parents were back together. He hated that they separated at all.

“That’s why that nigga told me that I couldn’t come stay there,” Monty laughed.

“You sure can’t,” Diva replied.

They all spent hours eating and drinking until Irie showed up to get her kids.

Cash and Iva helped Clover clean up while Diva gave Kardi a bath and put her to bed.

Since Clover picked Cash up, she prepared to bring her back home once everyone else left.

Cash was excited when her kids asked to go by her sister-in-law’s house.

Clover dropped them off and was on her way to bring her girl home.

A phone call from Cash’s brother detoured them once again.

“What’s up DJ?” Cash asked when she answered the call on speakerphone.

“Man, come get your lil sister before I slap the piss outta her!” DJ yelled angrily.

“I wish the fuck you even try!” a woman yelled back in her own defense. Clover knew that it had to be Cash’s baby sister, Darrielle.

“What’s going on over there this time?” Cash sighed in aggravation.

“She’s too fucking stupid. Dumb ass got that nigga, Joe, in my Pops’ house like it’s cool. I told him and Mrs. Serena not to leave her in there by herself.”

DJ was furious, and Cash understood why.

Just like her and their older sisters, Casey and Camia, Darrielle had a body that bitches paid top dollar for.

Besides the gift of life, that was the only thing that their mother have ever given them.

DJ and Darielle’s father, Darryl, had gotten married a few years ago and he and his wife were on vacation in Cancun for a week.

DJ didn’t want Darielle to be left alone in the house, but they blindly trusted her.

He and their older brother, Carmelo, had an apartment together but they used their old apartment in The Green as their dope spot and whore house.

It was a revolving door for the many women that they finessed.

Darielle loved to hang in the hood area and she caught the eye of several dope boys.

Joe won her over since he was the one who cashed out on her the most.

He was a grimy ass nigga, and DJ hated everything about him.
