“Seriously, Boobie? We’re really doing this?” Clover asked when he walked into their bedroom.

“Yes, we’re really doing this. Come on, Lucky. Me and my baby are already dressed and you’re wasting time.” Dash looked at his reflection in the mirror and adjusted his Gucci tie. Kardi walked into the room looking pretty in pink with her dress and matching hair bows.

“Okay, if you say so.” Clover shrugged and slipped on her striped maternity dress. She was now six months into her pregnancy and had a nice sized baby bump.

So many things had changed over the past few months.

Pure chaos ensued after everything that happened with Trent.

For one, she and Dash were back together and living like a family once again.

He cried his heart out once he saw that Clover was safe.

He couldn’t imagine his life without her and he was grateful that he didn’t have to.

They even went to get another marriage license a week ago, but nothing had been made official just yet.

The police were treating Trenton’s death as a suicide, even though Trudy tried to make it national news.

Even after he tried to kill her, she wasn’t accepting the police or coroner’s report.

She wanted to know why his back tire was shot out and she swore that there was no way that he could have tied the rope around the tree all by himself.

Had they really investigated, they would have known that she was right.

Trent had done so much over the past few months that his case was open and shut the night his body was found hanging from a tree.

His diagnosed mental condition really sealed the deal.

After a while, she let it go and went on with her life.

Now, on the day of their gender reveal, Dash had Clover and their daughter up at the crack of dawn, getting ready for church.

He kept telling Clover that he wanted to go but they kept putting it off.

As fate would have it, he ended up talking to one of the customers whose house they were renovating and they invited him to visit their church.

To him, that was a sign and he agreed to attend.

“This is a new beginning for us, Lucky. The past is being left behind and today is day one. God has blessed us so much and the least we can do is give Him thanks.”

“I agree.” Clover smiled as she slipped on her shoes. She sprayed herself with perfume and got ready to go.

Their gender reveal was being held by Hank and Diva’s house later on that day. After church, she wanted to take a nap before the festivities. Irie went with her to the appointment and she was the only one who knew the sex of the baby.

Hours later, Clover was well rested and dressed to head to Hank and Diva’s house. They had an amazing time at church and they both agreed to go back the following Sunday. Even Kardi enjoyed it and she wanted to go again too.

“I wish my name was cute. I want a baby named after me too. I love how Cash’s daughter is named after her,” Clover said as they drove to their destination.

“I love your name. I think we should do that if it’s a girl.” Dash smiled while rubbing her belly.

“Hell no, Boobie. Clover is an old lady name but it’s better than Clotill. I’m so happy that my mama didn’t do that to me,” she laughed.

“Damn, me too, baby.” Dash laughed with her.

“What about Corey if it’s a boy?”

“You can’t be serious.” Dash gave her a serious look.

“I’m just joking, baby. I know you want to keep your name going. And as much as Hank loved my daddy, he would die.”

“What do you want it to be, Kardi?” Dash asked.

“Can we have both? A boy and a girl,” she replied, making her parents look at each other nervously.

“Irie did say that it was just one baby, right?” Dash asked.

“It better be. I’m not that damn big.”

They pulled up and saw a bunch of cars lining Hank and Diva’s street.

Hank saved them a spot in the driveway, and they were thankful for that.

Clover wondered exactly how many people Diva invited.

She said that it was gonna be small but she didn’t know the meaning of the word.

Dash walked around and helped her out of the car, as the three of them walked down the side of the house to the back patio where everything was being held.

“Surprise!” everybody yelled when they walked into the yard.

Clover was shocked but excited to see her grandmother and the rest of her family.

Hank’s family was there too and that explained all the cars outside.

She rushed over to hug everybody, not paying attention to the decorations around her.

Tilly turned her around and she gasped when she saw Dash on one knee behind her.

“All of our family is here to help us celebrate our special day. Will you marry me again… today?” Dash asked with a smile.

“Aww, this was so sweet of y’all. Of course I will,” Clover answered as she wiped her teary eyes.

“Yay!” Kardi was clapping excitedly.

“How did y’all pull this off without me knowing? I thought this was a gender reveal.”

Clover finally took a good look at all the wedding décor.

There was another section that was decorated in pink and blue as well.

Now, she knew why Dash kept pressuring her to get a marriage license.

They were only good for about a month, so she should have known that something was up.

“Your ass is nosey so it wasn’t easy,” Diva replied.

“How are we gonna get married today? Who’s gonna do it?” Clover was confused.

“That would be me.” The same judge who granted her the restraining order against Trent spoke up. Jess asked her to do the favor for her, and she happily obliged.

“Thank you so much, for everything.” Clover gave her a tight hug.

After she and Dash greeted all of their family, they stood before them and became husband and wife for the second and prayerfully last time. Dash was so happy and the smile on his face seemed permanent.

“My four leaf clover. You really are my good luck charm.” Dash buried his face in Clover’s neck and inhaled her all too familiar sent.

“Okay, enough of this. I need to see if this is my grandson or not,” Diva interrupted as she got in between the two of them. She was holding Alexus as she made her way over to the pink and blue area with Kardi following right behind her.

“Give me my baby. If it is a boy, she might end up in the pool.” Fonzo took his daughter from his mother and sat down.

“Aye, record for me, Cash.” Cashmere grabbed his phone and pointed it to where it should be. He was live and the comments were being flooded with pink and blue hearts.

“I’m so nervous.” Diva was acting like it was her baby that was about to be revealed.

“I don’t know why you want a boy so bad when you had three.” Clover rolled her eyes.

“Come on, Clo. I know you ain’t gon’ let me down.” Diva held Hank’s hand, as Irie gave Kardi the huge pin to pop the big black balloon. When the blue confetti fell out, Diva jumped into Hank’s arms like she was being carried over the threshold.

“Hell yeah!” Dash kissed Clover as he rushed over to his brothers.

Amina grabbed her baby as the brothers did their signature chest bump when they heard good news.

“Yes! I’m getting a grandson! I’m so happy.” Diva was running around hugging everybody excitedly.

The festivities went on for hours with both families celebrating the good news.

After the past year, they all deserved some form of happiness.

The food and drinks were plentiful and the party didn’t end until almost three in the morning.

Kardi had gone to bed a long time ago and she was staying with her grandparents.

Clover and Dash went home alone for the first time as husband and wife again.
