Chapter 15 Vaxan #2
I swallowed thickly, my words coming out hoarsely, “You pulled me from the shadows I’d already been in for too long.
” I stroked his nape. “Nobody’s ever cared for me without agendas before.
” Emotion flooded me and bled into him. “Nobody has ever loved me. You gave me more than you’ll ever know.
” He turned into my touch. “I love you, too. So very much. So very deeply.”
His eyes shone and he let out a stuttering breath.
And then it all took me over, and the next thing I knew, I had my citrine magic enveloping us, casting a glamor around us, then speeding us deep into the forest at the edge of campus.
I pushed my body into his, backing him against a formidable oak tree.
“Little death,” I breathed into his ear.
That softness in his eyes gave way to that mischievous glint the moment I flicked open his jeans with my magic. He had me smirking, that filthy look infecting me and spurring me on, which skyrocketed when he growled, “Mmm… yeah, I need to feel your hand around my cock. Fucking now.”
I wrapped my fingers around his thickening length and pulled him free. “Already weeping for me.”
“From the moment you slammed me up against this tree.”
Hmm. This was Winter. He liked to be the one dealing out the roughness for the most part. So it wasn’t about that, then. Highly unlikely, at least.
“You want me all over you? Consuming you?”
“Yeah,” he breathed.
His amber magic sparked and he didn’t just open my pants, he dematerialized them and my boxer briefs in one go.
“Oops,” he said, chuckling.
Considering the supreme control he had of his necromantic side now, it showed just how much my love confession to him had impacted him—how much it meant to him.
He was panting with it, and I’d barely touched him yet, so it wasn’t the physicality alone.
I stroked his nape with my free hand, while I drew my thumb around his crown with my other, gathering his precum and glazing it down his thick shaft. “I’m here with you. Fully here with you.”
His mouth crashed down on mine and he kissed me voraciously.
I rose to it, tongues swirling, teeth even gnashing.
I jerked his cock harder, faster, rougher, then shoved my groin against him.
“Fuck,” he grunted against my lips, before chasing them again and utterly devouring them.
And then he spun us and crowded me against the tree, his big, muscular body looming over mine in the most tantalizing way imaginable. It was pure wanton and all-consuming need rolling off him, the desire to be consumed not just physically but emotionally, to be held so fully and deeply.
I fell into it with him, lashing my forked tongue over his jaw, his throat, trailing up to his ear, then nipping at the lobe, back down his throat.
As my hands slid under his tee, touching him skin to skin, he had me jolting as he grasped both our cocks in his hand, then began jerking us fiercely.
I hissed against his skin, his mouth, as sharp sparks of pleasure inundated me.
“I love you. I love you. I love you,” he started uttering like a prayer, sending a flood of emotion through me.
I fisted his hair and held him to me, breathing in his delectable sandalwood scent and that which was just all him.
“I’ll be here. I’ll always be here with you.
You have my solemn vow, little death.” I sucked on his neck, his jaw, marking him, matching the way he’d engraved himself so deep under my skin. “I love you dearly also.”
“Ungh… Vax,” he choked. “I… can’t… can’t hold it… I’m gonna come.” He twirled his thumb over our crowns and my vision blurred from the sharp bursts of bliss. “Need to feel you with me. Come… come with me. Shoot all fucking over me. Please… please, Vax.”
Damnation, he was driving me out of my mind.
The intensity was beyond anything I’d ever—
It hit me so abruptly, it had me lurching into him, as ecstasy tore through me, and my cum shot all over our lengths, his fingers, even up his shirt.
“Yes,” he breathed in rapture, as he kept jerking us, the oversensitivity of it making me tremble against him and dig my fingers into his pectoral.
“Feel me… fucking feel me with you,” he choked out, a moment before I certainly did feel every sensation of his sticky cum spurting all over our joined cocks, and even my thighs as he shifted his weight to mark me.
Our ragged breaths intermingled and he collapsed against me, his palms slapping down on the tree either side of my head, his cool breath whispering over the side of my neck.
I reached up and stroked his back beneath his tee.
“H-how long will you be gone? Will you be back before bedtime?” he asked quietly, the vulnerability in it twisting me up. It was so incredibly raw. He was so incredibly raw.
Leaving now, even for a little while, with him like this… it didn’t sit well with me in the least.
I had to, though. What I needed to accomplish today had a time-sensitive nature.
I’d message Evira and Zayn, have them be with him tonight. At least one of them.
“I know we were all going to sleep separately tonight to get our studies done—my spellwork for me—but do you think you’ll be back in time to say goodnight to me?”
Curses.
“Yes. I’ll be back to say goodnight to you all.” I eased back, then cleaned and clothed us with a sweep of my magic. “What if I have Evira and Zayn come to your suite once they’re finished their work? Until I get there?”
He shook his head. “No.”
“Why not?”
“Evira has so much to do with Exalt and her studies combined. And Zayn is behind. And he can’t be, it’s his last year.” He straightened and squared his shoulders. “I’ll be fine. Grown man. Powerhouse magical being, right?”
“Winter—”
“Although, if you don’t leave in the next few seconds, I might very well trap you here with me for another few rounds. Then you literally won’t be in any state to walk out of here, let alone right off campus and beyond.”
I chuckled. “Trap me here, hmm?”
“Yeah. With my supreme seduction skills, of course.” He smirked. “And my special cock rubs you love so much.” His eyes shone. “Though not as much as you love me, huh?”
I smiled. “Not as much as I love you. Exactly right.”
He pulled me against him and squeezed me tightly, and I heard him breathing me in, a little moan escaping him.
Then he released me and put notable distance between us. “I’m good. Go. Now, before I seriously jump you, Vax.”
“As you wish.” I winked. “See you soon.”
“Very soon.”
“Very soon,” I confirmed.
Then I called my magic forth and teleported away.
My contact had performed to my satisfaction.
Favor returned.
Debt absolved.
“Most definitely,” I mused to myself as I held up the two-liter frosted glass bottle of shimmering gold magic within. Magic that had been mapped to me so it would take my command and enable me to wield it as I saw fit.
Celestial magic.
“Thank you, Taen.”
I swept a glowing citrine palm over it, stowing it away magically, ensuring only I could call it forth when the time was right.
Soon.
My boots scraped on the rough ground as I moved right to the edge of the rock shelter beneath one of the waterfalls at this locale known as Wistering Waterfalls.
The landmark was a picturesque natural phenomenon with seven clustered waterfalls spilling into a shared therapeutic spring that possessed magical properties.
I performed a scent-wipe, along with eliminating any trace of Taen’s magical signature and mine. He’d left the bottle for me buried inside the rock wall out of sight, where I’d been able to use my vibrational ability to ease it free, then also seal the hole.
That vibrational aspect of my ability had many facets.
Aside from this and the way I’d tracked Winter during his abduction, I’d also used it to determine precisely where The Shadowed agents had been stationed around campus before I’d left.
Without alerting them or tripping their vampiric senses, or the magic-wielder members registering my magical signature.
While they were chiefly stationed there in secret to safeguard Winter, I couldn’t risk that extending to them keeping tabs on me as well.
So any time I’d left campus, I concealed myself in the trees or one of the buildings at the edge of campus, out of their immediate view, then employed my camouflage ability to blend into the surroundings, while monitoring their locations with my vibrational skillset in order to move around them undetected.
Once I was clear, I still had to maintain the camouflage aspect, glamoring my scent and magical signature in the process for several miles.
Winter had mentioned offhand when he’d been stressed by the level of protection increasing, that many were near-Ancient, which meant they could sense very far into the distance.
Due to that complication, it had taken me two hours to reach this location, when teleporting would have enabled me to arrive instantly.
Regardless, in spite of the obstacles and the frustrations of such things, I’d still managed to do what was needed.
That was what mattered.
I maneuvered between the rock shelter and the waterfall, then leapt twenty feet onto the bank, landing stably.
I was about to make my way back when a rush of great power rolled through the immediate area.
With a flicker of my magic, I summoned my jeweled daggers.
The moment they materialized in my hands, I sent a surge of my power through each of the double-edged steel blades that infused them with my magic, alongside the venom already stored within.
As the interloper began to materialize, I frowned as rose-gold magic sparked into being.
And then he stood there, height and muscle contained in a fitted black shirt and pants with a hard leather coat. His deep brown hair was styled in a crew cut with textured waves on top.
Kai Hunter.
Hmm. He certainly liked to make an entrance. He could have merely popped into being, but he’d drawn his arrival out with a dramatic flourish.
